Jessi, Monique and their team did a truly *epic* job of capturing our vision for our wedding day in June 2025 and executing flawlessly. From day one, they came in with energy, joy, enthusiasm and full support of making our dreams come true. And boy did we have some unconventional dreams, like my husband arriving to the ceremony by scuba diving up to the ceremony cite!! The venue gave us some grief, about that and many other things we wanted to achieve, but Epic Thyme navigated it perfectly and helped us execute everything we wanted. Their eye for style and design far surpasses our own, and the day of, they created absolutely magical, show-stopping visual impact. The whole day flowed perfectly, on time, zero mishaps, and we enjoyed the day without a care in a the world. Every one of our guests told us ours was the best wedding they had ever been to, and this was all due to Epic Thyme, their expertise, full heartedness and commitment to their clients. Thank you Jessi, Monique and making our dreams come true, for us and all our guests. We will never forget it xoxo read more

We truly could not have made it through the wedding planning process without Jessi and Monique. They were patient, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly organized. There were so many moments when I felt completely overwhelmed by everything that needed to get done, and they always stepped in to help ease my stress. The entire Epic Thyme team went above and beyond--both during the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They helped us find amazing vendors, communicated with everyone to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted, and handled things behind the scenes so we could actually enjoy the day. There are countless things they did that made our wedding possible, and we will forever be grateful for them. read more

We tied the knot this past month at gorgeous Olympic Valley Stables w/ 150 of our ppl rooting for us. Epic Thyme supported us through the whole process, starting 8 months prior. Their calm, and can-do attitude eased the overwhelm. My partner and I were not alone in it, they were engaged and in it with us, making such a large, detail oriented wedding weekend possible. The end event was nothing short of magic and wonder-full. Thank you Monique and Jessi for your heart, time, and commitment to making our vision come to a reality. read more

Christi and Epic Thyme are the best! When we first reached out to Christi, we still hadn't decided on the location for our destination wedding. It didn't matter, because after one conversation we knew immediately that Christi was the wedding planner we needed in our lives. She was personable, professional, organised, helpful, creative, knowledgeable, chill -- literally everything you could hope for when planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic and from afar. Christi was so good at listening to both of our ideas and using her own planning and design expertise to essentially 10x every idea we had. I am honestly amazed by how she was able to transform our ideas and a few of our favorite Pinterest pins into something so amazing. It was such a relief to be able to hand project management of all wedding things over to Christi, so my husband and I could have time for some of the other planning tasks and also focus on other things. When we had to make the difficult decision to cut our guest count to comply with local pandemic guidelines, Christi helped us to tweak the details of the weekend to create a really fun, intimate event. We had such an amazing weekend with our families. We loved working with Christi and would recommend Epic Thyme hands down to any couple that needs help planning their wedding in Lake Tahoe and beyond. Christi, thanks again for helping us put together the perfect wedding weekend with our family. It was better than we ever could have imagined. read more

Christi and the Epic Thyme team were an absolute pleasure to work with! We had monthly check-in calls with Christi to ensure that we were on track with our planning. She is such an awesome person too and we always looked forward to laughing on zoom with Christi every month. She did an absolutely fantastic job making sure we didn't miss a beat with our planning and helping to make our dream and vision come to life. She offers a variety of planning packages depending on what you need, which was great. We are out of state, so it was wonderful to have someone local to help with some of the research. Our wedding went without a hitch, and the few things that did occur Christi did a great job of resolving so that we could focus on enjoying our big day. I can't recommend them more for your wedding planning and day-of coordination. read more

Christi, Dani, Monique, and all staff involved, thank you so much for everything. You made our big day flow so effortlessly and we all know how much hard work it takes to pull off a spectacular wedding. From your design consults, to helping dial in the details, you helped through every step of the way. EVEN going as far as finding my Grandmothers gold wedding band that fell off my finger during our photos...in the most difficult place to locate it!! Where do I begin to give the epic thyme team praise. We were absolutely blown away by every aspect of their help, planning, support, vision, design, organization, and listening throughout our wedding planning process. From day one we felt listened to and supported during this wonderful time in our lives. I am a type A person and I had full trust in the Epic Thyme team the weekend of the wedding and was able to relax and enjoy our day. Fully knowing the team knew what decisions we would make and how we imagined our day. Our friends and family were absolutely blown away by every detail and aspect of the weekend. Epic thyme has a flat rate discussed about prior to signing a contract. This transparency and ease of know what we were going to pay for was wonderful. Additionally, their team could not be more kind, consistent, considerate, intuitive, and thoughtful in every aspect of planning. From navigating family dynamics to the color of linens and everything in between we had full confidence in them. They handled vendor communication professionally and with great ease. Guided us through what decision was best for us and encouraged us to enjoy this season. Truly an epic team. All I can say is look no further. Hop on a call with the team and your hesitancy will vanish. I can not speak highly enough about this incredible team. They really had our best interest at heart and felt like family. We can not wait to work with them again for our 10 year anniversary vow renewal party :) read more

Epic Thyme truly enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams. I couldn't recommend hiring Christi and team more! We found Epic Thyme accidently after I had scrubbed the internet near and far for different wedding venues in California. I had a particular vision in mind and was having trouble finding a venue that would deliver what I wanted. I then somehow stumbled on the Epic Thyme Instagram and there it was. My perfect venue =Basecamp Tahoe South. Outdoors, woodsy, laid back but still elevated, romantic, and easily accessible to out of town travelers. After finding Basecamp I knew we owed Epic Thyme a call since it was her Instagram to lead us to this awesome find. During our initial call with Christi it was truly love at first sight. Christi was so lovely, she is the perfect balance of professional and knowledgeable but also endearing and laid back. Having all of Epic Thyme's knowledge at our fingertips led us to having so much more than we would have been able to imagine on our own. Who knew you could hire a dog handler who specialized in weddings! Christi did! Who knew you could find a videographer that only shoots footage and doesn't edit! Christi did! Their fee's nearly paid for themselves if you factor in all the negotiation Christi did with our vendors. On top of that, we knew we would have the best team of vendors because Christi had worked with them in the past and knew which vendors best suited our style, venue and budget. I am a very organized person however sometimes get overwhelmed in situations of stress. Having Christi and team fully enabled me to enjoy not only the day of the wedding but the whole planning process. By the end, Epic Thyme felt like part of the fam. Thank you so much for being a part of this special moment and making it more than I could have ever planned on my own. We are really grateful to you! read more

Christi is truly the best! Such a fun personality with a proactive approach to everything. She is super thorough in her work and so pleasant to work with. She definitely kept us on track in planning our wedding and made it fun along the way. We had a lot to do still when we hired Christi, which was everything from vendor choosing to design and details, in just about 4 months - wedding date was 9/27/20. With COVID and the CA fire season and PGE outages, we were definitely hit with some obstacles, but Christi helped us handle every single one quickly and effectively. The day of our wedding, PG&E turned off the power during cocktail hour, luckily we had Christi to get the generators running! For any Bride or Groom reading this review, this is one of the many reasons why you need a wedding coordinator! And Christi is your girl !!!! :) All our guests keep complimenting on how well our coordinator (Christi) did, every single one of our guests enjoyed themselves! We certainly couldn't have pulled it off without Epic Thyme! THANK YOU Christi for making our big day possible and so special! Dustin and I appreciate all your work and patience with all our changes! OK-can so say enough about this absolute brilliant wedding planner? Let's start of with Christi's personality:chill. Chill but professional and she gives you the feeling of her very much being in control yet so friendly you want to be friends in real life after your wedding is over. Her work ethic is superb. I was so impressed with her clearly ideating on her toes and then executing on some of our last minute day of changes that arose. The details! My gosh. She thought of EVERYTHING. I was a floating princess with not a care in the world this past weekend. Her 10 years of experience is evident in every part of the process through the day. I can't say enough about her and her team. Shout outs to Danni, Bailey, and Monique. Thank you again for making our day perfect! read more

We are BEAMING writing this review for Epic Thyme. Christi, Monique and Dani planned and ran our wedding in June 2023 at the North Lake Tahoe Event Center, and it was truly EPIC! Epic Thyme did it all - they are amazing at designing a wedding that fits your vibe and budget (down to the tiniest details), project/vendor manage-ing the planning and day-of execution of realizing that vibe, and considering your and your guests' experience throughout the day so the wedding goes off without a hitch. They're professional, structured, highly communicative, and on top of all of that, they're the most fun!! They'll be the first person at the venue the day of the wedding (and the day before!), and the last to leave, and they brought so much positive energy, good vibes and smiles on the wedding day and the 9+ months in planning! The team really goes above and beyond for their clients, and we're so immensely thankful we had the chance to work with them to plan the party of a lifetime. read more

Epic Thyme helped us plan the best wedding we could have ever hoped for! My wife and I originally searched high and low for planners in the Tahoe area, and after meeting with Christi we knew she was a great fit for us. She exudes a perfect blend of professionalism, knowledge, confidence and chill that worked so well for us in planning our wedding! We hired Epic Thyme for the full wedding planning service, and they knew exactly what we needed within the first 1-2 meetings. They use Aisle Planner for planning, which was a great resource for checklists/deadlines, and also have plenty of their own pages including templates for song selection, ceremony processional, discount codes, etc. So much accumulated knowledge! Along the way, Christi and team always made us feel confident, no matter the curveballs that were thrown our way. During the course of planning, we changed the location and date of our wedding, while also having Epic Thyme expand to add more members to the team, and Christi just *handled* it like it wasn't even a thing. I seriously don't even understand how she manages to squeeze more than 24 hours out of a day; truly unlimited energy! Leading up the wedding, our meetings increased in frequency which was perfect for all the last-minute details. Epic Thyme handled so many things here, including signage, ceremony and reception timelines, and meeting with vendors separately to make sure everyone is on the same page. We truly felt like we were in great hands the entire time, and Epic Thyme knew exactly what to do to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch! The wedding day itself was seamless; if anything went wrong, we didn't notice it or hear about it! Christi and Danni were so great about keeping to the timeline, making sure we (and vendors) knew where to be and when, and made it so easy for us to enjoy our wedding and be mindful and present the entire day! Everything was so beautiful and it was truly the perfect weekend. Long story short, Christi, Monique, Danni, and crew were the absolute best choice for our wedding. By the end, they felt like family and I'm so bummed that we don't have our wedding meetings anymore! Seeing the business grow as we were clients was so fun, and we have all the confidence in the world that Epic Thyme will keep pulling off AMAZING weddings and reach truly stratospheric levels. If you have a wedding in the Tahoe (or extended) area, EPIC THYME is the planner service you need! Don't hesitate, just meet with them and you'll see! Huge thanks to Christi + team! Love you all so much and loved our amazing Tahoe wedding! read more

Christi and Monique were our lifesavers! We had a wedding at my mom's house and they completely transformed her backyard (and driveway!) into the most magical venue I've ever seen. They were so accommodating to our quirky requests and really took the reins as we were so busy and fairly hands off with the whole planning experience. From vendors, to decorations, to being there for the rehearsal and support during the wedding day, they were beyond professional, personable, and created the most amazing day for us to celebrate with our friends and family. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was, from the first meeting to the breakdown the following day. We loved working with Epic Thyme and would recommend them to anyone looking for the absolute best, coolest, most down to earth wedding planner! xo- Kate & Bob read more

This review is long overdue because I worried I wouldn't be able to find the right words to do the Epic team justice. We met Christi when we were first visiting our venue, Olympic Valley Stables in Tahoe. She was there setting up for a wedding and took a few minutes to chat with us. We loved her energy right away, her positivity, professionalism, and easy-going attitude. Hiring Epic Thyme was the easiest decision. From the moment we began working together, Christi, Monique and their team were perfect. They listened and heard when we described the wedding we envisioned, one that blended cultures and traditions and included children. Nothing seemed to throw them; they just magically they made it happen. They helped us choose vendors who would reflect our style and expectations. They were generous with their time and energy, extremely organized with budgets, communication, and timelines, and creative with vision boards to help us see all the parts and pieces put together. We worked together as a team beautifully and knew we could trust their choices and decisions 100%. Christi and Monique are joyful and energetic, and they seem to love the party planning process. When problems arose (and they naturally do), they were reassuring and relaxed, just figured out a solution without drama. A few months before our rehearsal dinner, when we foolishly thought we could plan and host the event ourselves - and realized we couldn't - they jumped in and seamlessly took over, so the rest of us could relax and enjoy the entire weekend of events. We have already recommended Epic Thyme to friends with weddings in the future, and we will continue to sing their praises! And, we would hire them again in a heartbeat! So happy we chose to work with you, Christi, Monique and Dani! The only negative is the planning process is over and we miss you! read more

Hiring Christi and Monique was by far one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding experience. I looked forward to our monthly meetings so much and Christi makes planning for a wedding fun and seamless. We ended up hiring them for our rehearsal dinner last minute because it felt really overwhelming and they stepped up right away and made it feel easy breezy. Everything was perfect the day of the wedding and we couldn't thank Christi and Monique enough. I would recommend Epic Thyme without hesitation. Their services are both affordable and so worth it. Our wedding was EPIC and we have Christi and her team to thank for this absolutely perfect day - I'm still getting compliments on the vibe, decor, set-up and energy. Christi spent time getting to know me and what I was looking for and truly brought my vision to life. Based on what I shared with her, she pointed me in the direction of aligning vendors, products, and fun ideas. Christi is THE BEST! We truly looked forward to our weekly calls and are sad they're over. Christi agreed to take us in as clients towards the end of our wedding planning for our wedding...then Covid happened and EVERYTHING had to be rethought. There were many days we felt defeated due to the pandemic, but Christi was always there to remind us of what we had to look forward to and came up with creative solutions to our hurdles. I couldn't have asked for more in a wedding planner! Christie went above and beyond in helping us to plan our wedding. She thought of all the little details and kept me on track. We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and she kept calm and was resourceful and thought out of the box. Whenever there was a hiccup, she kept me calm and assured me it would all work out- and it did! When the big event arrived we were able to relax and enjoy as Christie and Monique took care of so many details from making sure everything was clean and sparkling to managing vendors and greeting guests. It was so worth it to not have to worry about anything and to be able to trust Christie completely. She's easy going, down to earth, non-judgmental and a creative thinker. Christi, Monique and the entire team at Epic Thyme are just fabulous. When people ask how our wedding weekend went, the answer we give is that it was the best weekend of our lives, and that truly would not have happened without them. First, the decor. You know when you go to the hairdresser with a picture of a celebrity and ask for your hair to look exactly like theirs, only to realize it never does? I never imagined that Christi would be able to bring our inspiration photos to life, EXACTLY how we imagined them to be, but she did! The entire process of working with Epic Thyme was great. We genuinely enjoyed our planning sessions each week and trusted that they had everything under control. My husband and I were both very busy with work leading up to the wedding so without their help, we aren't sure what we would have done. While there really were no hiccups throughout the wedding weekend, when little things did come up, Epic Thyme handled everything with ease. The hotel we all stayed at was supposed to keep their bar open for our guests after the welcome dinner, but they closed early. Christi and Monique found a bar a few blocks away before the dinner was over and had a spot reserved for our guests in no time. Epic Thyme truly handled everything for us. They found us incredible vendors, handled all the coordination, helped us put together welcome bags, and managed everything during the weekend so we could spend time with our guests. We cannot thank Epic Thyme enough for making our weekend the most special. Not only were they the most incredible wedding planners, but we now see them as our friends too. We were honored to close out the evening with a final cheers at 3:30am with the best team :) THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! read more

I could write a very lengthy review expressing how great Epic Thyme is, but I will keep it as concise as possible. Christi is incredibly talented at event planning and since hiring her in 2020 (our wedding finally happened in 2022), she built a team and they are all incredible to work with. I always looked forward to our planning calls and she listened to every dream I had, reeled me in when I needed it, and was taking care of minor speed bumps up until the very last minute. Epic Thyme goes above and beyond for their clients and other local vendors attested to their quality of work to me as well. Hands down one of the best decisions of my wedding planning process was choosing them. They put SO much hard work and effort into making your event exactly what you want it to be and will always exceed expectations. read more

Words cannot explain how amazing Christi of Epic Thyme is. If you don't read the whole review, the short version is that we recommend Christi without hesitation. You won't be disappointed! We had a wedding planned for Aug 2020 on the CA side of Tahoe and of course had to change plans. We tried a plan B, which wasn't going to be on the west coast anymore, but Christi offered helped us plan it anyway, from scratch, after already planning our first wedding. 2020 was an unusual and unexpected journey, but Christi was by our side, with the perfect dose of optimism, the whole time. She is beyond organized, supportive and willing to go above and beyond for her clients. Additionally, she is well-connected in the area and has great relationships with a lot of vendors, which made our planning process seamless. Christi took the stress out of wedding planning and we looked forward to every planning call with her. Thank you, Christi! read more

Christi transformed our dream wedding into reality!!!! We had the vision in our head and she made it come to fruition! My fiance and I procrastinated planning our wedding, neither of us is a great event planner, so we knew we needed some help. We had intro conversations with a few wedding planners, but Christi at Epic Thyme stood out from the rest. She was so optimistic, kind, friendly, chill - we felt like planning a wedding was possible with her help! She listened to what we wanted, had a ton of ideas from the start, then sent us a whole perfect plan in two days! We were amazed. Then.... the pandemic happened, things were shutting down, and we had no idea how long it would last. We were lost, all over the place, and finally decided on a small immediate family only wedding that we had to plan in 2 months (due to the start of winter in Lake Tahoe). We would NEVER have been able to pull it all off without Christi. She had zoom meetings with us every week and kept us on track. Because we live in Denver and weren't going to see the venue until the wedding, she even went and scoped it out for us! The whole wedding weekend went off seamlessly. She was at the venue before us the day before the wedding getting things set up with our vendors, and planning a rehearsal just to make sure it was all perfect. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding - our families were pretty amazed that they didn't have to run any last minute errands, help with setup, etc. Christi is super professional, fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and always has a smile on her face! We couldn't be happier and are very grateful. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because Christi Nasser with Epic Thyme deserves it. Christi was the best part of our wedding, and we are forever grateful we were lucky enough to hire her. When I first reached out to Christi she was on a weekend snowboard trip with friends, but the venue I was interested in was "close" (not really) so she agreed to sneak away and meet with me. I knew after our first meeting I needed Christi's expertise with my wedding planning venture. Christi was the first wedding decision we made in regards to our wedding, and I am so thankful we had her for literally EVERY step of the process. She helped us with venue ideas, dates (even checking the weather to make sure it would be what we wanted that time of year!) design ideas, hiring vendors, budgeting, websites and so much more. I was shocked at her organization and professionalism. Christi went above and beyond in every way. Her customer service and wedding planning skills are truly unmatched. We worked with Christi for over a year and there wasn't a thing she missed along the way. I often joked that I didn't feel like I was even a bride-to-be with my hair on fire planning, because I had Christi! The day of our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams, because of her. I wasn't stressed about a single thing and truly got to enjoy every minute of the day. Every detail of the wedding was PERFECT and the entire weekend was seamless. My husband and I have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback on our wedding and we it owe it all to Christi and her EPIC TEAM!!! They embody that word in its entirety. We are forever grateful to Christi for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams. We'd do it all over again just to work with Christi! read more

My fiancé and I hired Christi to help with our wedding on August 17, 2019 and it was one of the best decisions we made!! At first, I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner. I had heard great things about Christi and Epic Thyme but I was not sure how it could really be worth it and my now wife just said "trust me, you will be glad we did". Over the next 9 months, we met with Christi via zoom at least each month (we live across country) and more frequently as the day approached. Each meeting was organized, efficient, and gave us all the confidence we could hope for that our special day was in good hands--Christi knows and prepares for everything. The wedding itself was perfect. Every detail was accounted for and all we really had to do was enjoy every moment--which is exactly what a well planned and executed wedding should be. Looking back I would not change a thing. Do yourself a favor and go with Epic Thyme. With the hundreds of decision that were made surrounding the wedding, hiring Christi was the first and best one. We started working with Christi in January of 2020 to plan our wedding in Lake Tahoe for this summer and could not have picked a better planner!  Her network is extensive and her attention to detail is impeccable. We met with her on a Monthly basis to start, but were always in pretty close contact.  She'll start you off with a list of to-do's built from her years of experience in the industry.  No stone goes untouched!  Even though we were a small, 10 person wedding, she went above and beyond in working with us and the vendors we chose to make sure our day felt special.  When COVID hit, Christi was instrumental in helping us downsize our wedding and brainstorming ways for us to keep our wedding day fun and intimate.  While we were one of her smaller weddings to date, having her there on the day and her creative touch were invaluable in making sure it went off without a hitch.  We'd recommend her to any couple looking for a planner in the Tahoe area.  Look no further! read more

Christi Nasser is the best! Honestly, you will not find anyone better to assist you with your wedding. Not only is Christi a phenomenal event planner, she's an amazing person. Christi was recommended to us by our venue and we are so grateful for their advice. From the very beginning we knew it would be a wonderful fit. Over the last year, we've been planning our wedding with Christi's assistance. She is beyond thorough, helpful, and organized. When COVID hit, we persisted on (we were extremely hopeful). The entire time Christi was beyond supportive and provided wonderful advice. Two months before our wedding, we decided to push it back. Then, we changed our minds again, and decided to do an intimate wedding in 2020 and a big party with all of our guests in 2021. During this whole process Christi has truly been the highlight! She has been flexible with us the entire time, and always makes us laugh when we are stressed. The only good thing about the pandemic hitting during the planning of our wedding is that we now get to work with Christi twice.
