First any application submit to a studio should be refunded if you are not selected in what they believe is model crit. Only should you be charged for 1. A slot , if you are keeping the time for your test shoot , if they like your test shoot then the 50$ will be billed and added towards your package for your pro folio and your website where you can display you're work to other agency's or castings. Once you pay the package then the studio that is actually legit releases the pro folio and your website and as well as data modeling casting jobs/ agency's. Which I've successfully done in a Nyc studio ... Over all when I lived in San Jose I remember coming and NOT ONCE did I get a test shoot which was mention in the application And the timing that was mention in the email it was only for 2-3 hrs when a legit studio doing test shoots last 4-5 hrs.& There should be at least 5-7 looks that they want you to bring for the test shoot. And No more than 22 pictures in total for you're test shoot. You only should pay for packages if they once again feel like you have what it takes to work with agencies. This is not an agency nor in my actual knowledge a legit studio to help inspiring models These are people who want to take your money in return for modeling classes that don't existed. In the real world there are no modeling classes. And you definitely don't get a certificate like it's a degree . Please lady's. You're test shoots WILL determine your ability to model. Over all I promise you this place is just going to ask for 50$ plus for no test shoots but a meeting on how to cat walk?? It's all a fraud. And it's sad because when I was first starting my career and people like my self that actually were looking for legit studios can almost get scammed by " Kathy Hoang the JC want a be Talent Scout " / Dalena " or simply because there in a mall. But this never happened, and Elsa did not reply to me for another week. So I emailed her directly to follow-up. She responds and tells me she's been busy. Will get to me soon. Another week and some change goes by and still no response so I emailed Elsa again. No response. I received no response for three or four more days, and so I politely dropped them. Really unprofessional client service. They were very absent and unreachable. Unfortunately would not recommend.
