When I saw the doctor, I explained my symptoms, but from the start, I felt like my concerns were being dismissed. He made a comment that high blood pressure is "better than low," which didn't feel reassuring given why I was there. He told me the plan was to do blood work, an EKG, and give me another dose of my blood pressure medication. I had my blood drawn and waited, expecting to be called back for the EKG. Instead, the doctor later came to tell me that my "EKG and blood work" were normal. I had to point out that I never actually received an EKG. He responded that he must have been thinking of another patient, which was concerning in itself. He then said he didn't think an EKG was necessary anymore, even though it had been part of the original plan. He recommended that I start taking my blood pressure medication twice a day and discharged me. This left me feeling confused and uneasy. After doing some research the next day, I learned that I am already on the maximum recommended dose of that medication, and increasing it is not typically advised. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns weren't taken seriously and that the care I received lacked attention to detail.

I ended up calling back and I got transferred 4 times and I spoke with Cynthia and I was explaining how I was frustrated that im getting transferred around so much and she wanted to transferred me again and she interrupted me and said that she doesn't need sarcasm but I wasn't being sarcastic about anything I clearly explained my frustration and I don't know what would have been considered sarcastic to her. She then transferred me anyways and I was told that it would be $962 for the X-rays ($162 increase from the first amount the told me). When I was told that price I asked them why inline it says prices would ranged from ~$80-$120 with insurance and that when Cynthia came back on the line and interrupted me again. I ended up looking into Arizona Diagnostic Radiology in Tempe and I got AMAZING customer services and with my insurance they said it would only be $75.28 for the X-rays I needed. I called Valleywise back to ask how they gave me such an egregious price under insurance when another company gave me a reasonable price with my insurance. The representative said the price is not dependent on the hospital but on my insurance. I told her that under my insurance with a different company it was way more affordable and if they are going through my insurance why would there be hundreds of dollars in a difference. The representative then said it is because Valleywise is a hospital. $962 dollars for an xray is ridiculous and no one should have to pay that amount. Arizona Diagnostic Radiology took great care of me and Marlyn made my day with his smile and kindness. Don't get scammed by these company's and do your research to find what works best for you!

He is probably one of the kindest, most understanding and sincere doctors I have seen in a long time. His bedside manners are fantastic, I never feel rushed and I always feel like he cares about making me feel heard. His MA is wonderful, they are always super friendly and helpful. As for Village Medical as a facility - this place needs a lot of help. Trying to communicate with a provider is difficult. You cannot call the office directly, you send a message it takes days to get a reply. You use the chat or call the help line and it takes days for you to get some type of a reply from anyone. The answer is always "we will get back to you in a week." Sometimes a week is a very long time when you have a pressing issue. There is certainly a disconnect between the patient and provider. It is all corporate and help desk. When I get feedback from my pharmacy that I need a pre-authorization, or there is a question, it takes about a week to get any type of resolution because you cannot communicate with the office directly. If it was not for the fact that I like my doctor so much I would leave this place. Finding a good doctor is very tough. I just wish this place would get it together.

I was injured in a car wreck and I was treated by their doctors and I was able to receive all of my MRI's at the same location as well as my meds, my lab reports, and physical therapy there as well. They also have free transportation that picked me up and dropped off. They also referred me to an attorney that specializes in personal injury cases that helped me win my case. I highly recommend AZ -MED!

From day one they have treated me like family. They are very involved with their patients and it really makes you know you're in great hands. The staff is fantastic! They always have on smiling faces and you can tell they all really enjoy their jobs and their patients. Dr. Thomas and the girls in the procedure room really put me at ease every time I'm in. I can tell they take pride in ensuring everything is sterile and pristine for every procedure. Marisa is also great! She truly listens to how I'm feeling and always knows what's best to try next to relieve my pain. Even the girls up front are awesome! Tiffany and Brittany are very knowledgable and have great answers to the many questions I have. Brittany is always my go to girl with some of the complications I've had with my insurance. I can't say enough about how great everyone here is. I feel it's hard to find a practice that really goes the extra mile for its patients and truly cares. I would highly recommended them to anyone.

I discovered that even with walk ins you need to book online and then they can see if the schedule will let them move you up. During the 15 mins I needed to complete all the online forms, two other walk in parties entered and I assumed they had to follow the same process, I was lucky enough to be seen 15 mins after I completed all the necessary online forms. The visit itself went smoothly. The caring medical assistant and doctor performed an exam, called in my prescriptions and I was on my way. (Sinus and lung infections.) Overall, it was a positive experience and I don't see why I wouldn't return if in need of medical help again.

Advertised female care; in my opinion falls below standards. There was no clear path towards recovery, symptoms dismissed, concerns brushed aside w/consequences leading to delayed diagnosis. Lack of communications and no followups. PA's assistant was rude and not well mannered. Any questions to ongoing issues you'll get the PA's assistant who's most often used word "I don't know." The PA passed off her responsibility to an assistant whose credentials are not what insurance pays for. I do not recommend this office for a level of care. After Researching medical schools I get it now.
