I attempted several times to call her and every single time got her voicemail. She called me back and left a voicemail saying it was not her responsibility to assist me she steps aside and allows the claims department to help as that's their expertise. Seriously! Not even a phone call to ask if I was ok or guide me to the right people. The claims department contacted me after she called them two weeks later to say I was upset (she has still never spoken to me). Stellar!!! Stay away from this agent.

I'd recommend them for a few reasons but in a nutshell they are genuine people. I had a car totaled a couple years ago, fairly substantial loss. They stood by my side, assisting to make sure I was treated fairly. While they are an agent for the insurance company, I felt more like they were MY agent in making sure I received fair compensation. They sell multiple brands of insurance, so they can shop you for the lowest rate. Occasionally I get a quote from one of the 2-3 "big name" brands you see on TV all the time. It's usually higher than what I am paying. On the rare occasion it's slightly lower (VERY slightly), I remind myself WHY I have insurance in the first place, and when I think about how well I was treated during the loss, it becomes a no brainer to stay.

This time around, the lack of professionalism was appalling at best. Typically I'm not the type to leave a review nor tarnish someone's name but this time is far different. We had dropped our tax documents off almost a month ago and I needed to provide some follow up information. At this point like we had always done in the past, they would just plug this information in and move forward. However the response I got back was " Nate, Glad you do not read the news and you think you are our only client. Please come pickup your documents and find another preparer. Thank you Traci L Pack, EA TLP Advisors & Tax-Pros Office: 330.467.0392 / 330.467.0974 Fax: 877.483.9893 Website: taxpros-tlp.com" Now coming from a standpoint of another professional in a field that is also inundated with our every changing world amidst a pandemic, I understand how hectic things can be. To respond to one of my patients with such lack of professional candor is entirely unacceptable. I would never mistreat my clients, patients, or patrons in such a manner. I hope this was an oversight or just a bad day that shined through by mistake. I will follow their request and acquire a true business professional to handle my CPA needs from this day forward. I am fully aware I am not your only client, and to insult my intelligence is disgraceful. Remember in the future to treat your clients with respect instead of belittling them!

I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to have my taxes completed, so that is what I expected. When I emailed my final tax documents over I asked to please forward my taxes back to me as soon as they are available and said why I was in a hurry for them. After 4 weeks I sent an email asking for an update of the status. I didn't hear back so after 6 more days, I sent an email asking someone to please respond to my previous message. Someone responded back later that day saying that my taxes were in the mail that day, which was good, but it took 5 weeks total. Interest rates are climbing quickly right now and this also delayed me in being able to start looking. It was frustrating. When I received my invoice, the cost had gone up by 28.5% from last year, which no one had previously mentioned to me. It doesn't feel good to pay more for a lesser quality experience. I emailed them last week after receiving the invoice to let them know how I felt and even outright asked them to consider discounting the cost and didn't get a response. I paid the invoice today, so that I could post my review. Will never go back!
