This involved removing and reinstalling the deck railing which had large glass panels. During the storm on September 25, five of the glass panels blew out of the frames. I called Mr. Dyck early the next morning. He sent his employee to come out to help pick up the glass. Steve, his employee noticed that the screws were missing which would hold the frames in place. Steve installed screws in all the frames he could reach. Further phone calls and texts to Justin Dyck were not returned and commitments to come out were not met. Starting September 26, to October 22 when I sent the last text to Justin Dyck, he did not make any attempt to come out to even assess the problem. Warning to anyone who uses the services of J & B Contracting LLC, please be aware that there is no client support if a problem arises.

Right away we could tell Kevin was knowledgeable and professional. His price was fair for the work we needed done. We had to wait a few weeks as Summer is his busiest season for exteriors (he also paints interiors during the off seasons). We were willing to wait as we really appreciated his ethical attitude. Kevin called us the week before our project was to begin. He arrived on the exact date and time he had stated. He explained each phase of the project, which included power washing, exterior painting of the body and trim of our home, and staining of our entryway and deck ceilings.
