I've been going here for years and Sean and his staff have always been really awesome and they try…read moreto get you in between clients. They are all really helpful with what you want and they all call you by name once they get to know you. Your hair cut looks great after and they don't just talk to you to make "chit chat", they're actually concerned and interested in what you have to say. Also, they will actually tell you what's going on where and why. So it's not just got there and sit and wait for a hair cut. So if you ever want to try a new place I'd suggest them because for one it's local and two, they are all more helpful than just waiting for a tip and trying to get through a hair cut or a colouring. They also do nails to so if that's another thing the misses needs its worth checking out. Oh and one other thing, talking about camping and cars if you get Sean as your hair dresser lol those are kinda his territory.

They died my hair greenish brown (green from overprocessing). I asked everyone to make sure I wasnt "crazy" and survey said.. yeah it was undeniabley brown. When I asked the manager for a correction, and again showed the picture of the golden blonde hair I was looking for, she did not seem interested and threw in some highlights. So now I had brown hair with lighter brown highlights. I gave up and left. Had to go across the street and they understood what I wanted and delivered no problem. So I have had my nails done professionally for over 40 years…read more I have been up island for over 3 weeks and my nails were getting a bit grown out. Needed a fill, gel polish and trim. Nothing earth shattering. The service was ok. Two things that really bothered me prior to putting gel on my hands the male tech did not clean my nails with alcohol. Additionally he took a machine file and went under my nails and was filing my natural nails from under the gel. This morning I get up and surprise my gel polish is lifting off of my nails. Stopped by the shop to get it repaired and now I am waiting for someone to fix it. What is a reasonable amount of time to wait for them to fix their mistake? Not a happy camper.

My daughter-in-law had gel for pedicure and I just had a regular pedicure. The bill was $120. The price was about what I would pay in my really nice spa. The operator was extremely rough and quick. We were all done in less than an hour and it was no pleasure at all. It just hurt. She was all by herself and was fielding telephone calls and enquirys at the desk while dealing with the three of us. A totally unsatisfactory experience.
