We experienced a massive flood from an upstairs pipe, which totaled our entire kitchen and finished basement -- obviously quite a stressful situation. My sanity was preserved by the fact that, from the moment Dan arrived (which was pretty immediately after I called), I felt I was in great hands and knew everything was being handled expertly. We've now been through the initial water clean up, drying, mold-remediation and demo/removal necessary to re-build. I give ServPro 10+ stars for the way they handled each of these steps, including coordinating with other professionals (e.g., mold experts, contractors, insurance).

Their professionalism is first-class, as is both Lisa's and Dan's customer service. Their transparency, patience, accessibility and effective communication made what could have been a very painful experience the complete opposite. They reassured me that they would take care of everything, which they did, with care and respect for my belongings. The mold remediation they completed was done quickly, carefully, and with no disturbance to the rest of my house. "C" and his crew came and cleared out the basement, placed salvageable items in a POD that was placed in my driveway without any damage to my front yard, and a roll-off was delivered to discard personal loss items, flooring, drywall, and insulation. They took care of EVERYTHING and believe when I say they really spoke the truth when they said I had nothing to worry about and that they know what they're doing. I am so impressed with their honesty, integrity, and professionalism. I am continuing to work with them as my floors will be replaced. They intend to pack out and POD my whole first floor and re arrange everything back where it belongs after my floors are finished. I recommend Servpro of the North Fork without reservation and it is without trepidation that I welcome them back into my home to help me complete the final stages of rebuilding. -C. We had been satisfied with the response time and service before and assumed we would get the same again. They came promptly and attempted to clear the line, but after a half hour told me the line was clogged with roots and could not be opened and presented me a bill for the failed clean out, took my check and left. We waited for almost a week for them to give us a $2500 quote to replace the lateral. Before spending that kind of money we opted for a second quote. When I explained the situation to the new company, Their first suggestion was to let them try to clear the drain. Within five minutes snaking the line, the clog was cleared! I gladly paid them to finish Dave's job and threw away Dave's quote. The next day, I decided to call Dave Lange to tell them what happened and to ask what their refund policy was in this situation. The woman who answered the phone, took my message and promised to call back. Several days later with no return phone call I called again. This time, a man, who I assumed was an owner, answered the phone. He seemed a bit evasive about any kind of reparation, but promised me he would discuss it with someone and call me back. Another week later I called again and left a message with no return phone call. Another week later I called back and gave them one last opportunity to call me back. That was a week ago and still no callback! I am not upset that they couldn't do the job right the first time. I'm upset that they had no customer service follow up. Not even a courtesy call. Nothing! They had no problem taking our money for an unfinished job. But they did not value our business enough to make a simple phone call. Terrible customer service. Terrible business ethic.

He returned the next day with his father (family business) with camera and all the tools needed to tackle a clog of any size.
