Highly recommend this intimate optical shop, Entre Lentes. A unique atelier for eyewear, it has a nicely curated selection of frames in styles ranging from classic to more fashion-forward looks.
Operated by Lucia and Gabriel, who were welcoming, bilingual in Spanish and English, and the owners of a bandana-sporting dog who lounges around on an outside bench strewn with pillows like he owns the place--and he does.
Inside, the store has a creative look, displaying a timeless-yet-contemporary minimalist design meets steampunk via Mexican flair, plus a soupcon of understated wit.
I started by picking out two dozen frames for consideration. Okay, that's an exaggeration. It was three dozen. Narrowed it to a dozen and tried them all on again. And again. Throughout the process, Lucia and Gabriel kindly and patiently helped me in selecting fantastic frames, making the process easy and fun.
