She got an absinthe vert, canne to the table with the fountain, sugar cube, the whole shabang. I ordered Corto Maltesse the Mandarine Napoléon which had Litchi et Cardamome, Prosecco, Eau Pétillante, Citron. Delicious. I can recommend this spot highly for the gin, of course, as well as their cocktails. Well prepared. Also, only 6€ for the absinthe? Looks like we'll be coming more often to share a fountain!

We also ordered a beef tapa that I can't remember the name, it came with chunks of beef and it was my absolute favorite.To drink I had their Sauvignon Blanc which I thought was pretty good. The roast meats (I had the quail and lamb chop) also very good. Get the ones that are roasted over wood fire. If you are here with someone else, my recommendation is to get a 'formule' for two. For €35 you can choose three cold tapas, two warm, and two grilled meats. You may have to choose a little strategically, bot for two people this should definitely be allright in terms of quantity. Every dish I had was good. Most of them like the same, though, because everything is buried under a heap of parsley and pomegranate. Beers are also decently priced.

Basically you will pay 1€ per piece. So scampis are at 4€, you get 4(frozen) scampis, chese "platter" is around 4€, here is 3 tiny piece of cheese (slice pf camembert).... Wine gave me a headache. The tea shop appears to be family owned and both the wife and husband were extremely kind and helpful. The wife helped us pick tea, speaking a little English, and was very encouraging towards our own attempts at French. In addition to buying tea to go, we also had a cup on the spot. The tea was great and the environment was warm and relaxing, with jazz music playing in the background. Lastly, the store has a nice selection of different Belgian sweets (chocolate, cookies, etc.) from other businesses if tea is, well, not your cup of tea. Overall, this tea house is an amazing gem nestled in a rather busy and occasionally touristy area that should not be missed.
