DON'T SHOP HERE. I bought a gift item at Entitled at the Huntington Walt Whitman Mall three days ago and decided that I liked another item better and wanted to do an exchange. When I went back to the store to make the return, I was told that the item I purchased was a final sale, and therefore, an unexchangeble, unreturnable item. My receipt clearly states the following: "RETURNS-7 DAY MONEY BACK ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNOPENED." There was no exclusion on the receipt about my gift being a final sale, etc. The two young and inexperienced sales associates were insistent, unyielding and overly aggressive about not letting me exchange the item with a few dollars credit to my credit card. They made a major issue, so I asked to speak to the manager, who was conveniently not available, whom they called on the phone at my request. The "manager", apparently did not want to take the return either, and kept me dangling, at the counter with these two inept sales people, continuing to resist the return. Finally, I was disgusted and just took the original item back and told them I was leaving, never to shop there again. This was humiliating for a customer, albeit a good customer. Over the years, I had bought many gag items at this store and always felt assaulted by their intense sales pressure the minute I walked in, but it's hard to believe that they would sacrifice customers so easily over $4. I would recommend sourcing these products via vendors on the internet and bypass this nonsense. AVOID THIS STORE! read more
