I needed to rent a one way ride from Ann Arbor to Wooster Ohio to pick up a vehicle I purchased there but there were absolutely NO rentals available in my area with any rental place because of flights at Detroit Metro being cancelled due to the high winds we were had the day prior so EVERY company was OUT of one way vehicles.After an hour and a half on the phone to different places, I decided to look in Toledo for an available car and found one at the W. Alexis Road location but I needed to UBER there (50 min ride) on St. Patty's day ($$) and after a series of set backs that started early in the morning, I finally made it to the W. Alexis Rd location to get my car. I was greeted by Nate who was so easy going and got me situated with my car quickly as I was pressed for time. In my haste to leave my home, I forgot my phone charger and the UBER driver didn't have the right type so I was on 18% and asked if they had chargers for sale. They did not but Jacob another guy there, offered me his personal charger but unfortunately it was the wrong type. A few minutes later, he appears with a bag of brand new USBC chargers and gave me one. I asked how much and he said not to worry about it. This entire day was filled with set back after set back from traffic jams, cashing a big dollar check for my purchase, trying to find a one way rental, an uber driver that took back roads and not the freeway, missing my exit due to bad GPS directions, a snow storm after dropping off the rental where accidents prevented me from getting off at the exit I needed to use so a big detour, and driving 25-30 mph for an hour...all started from the moment I woke up to even after having left the Enterprise Store BUT, the experience I had at the W. Alexis Rd location was the easiest and most heartwarming part of my entire day. On returning the rental in Wooster Ohio, I was so pressed for time due to the constant delays and being in an area of unfamiliarity with some GPS issues, I called my sister asking her to phone the Wooster Enterprise location to let them know I was about 5 minutes out past closing and if they could wait for me. They said they were still there finishing up some things and it was no problem. I arrived, went inside expecting to fill out paperwork but he just took the key and said I was all set and he would let the Toledo Store know it was returned. The amount of relief I felt roll off my shoulders knowing the car was returned and I was all set after the stress of the day was so huge. The ease and kindness that I experienced from Enterprise was the brightest moments of my day and I wanted to make sure to give a shout out to both Nate and Jacob for their great customer service and going above and beyond to help make my day more smooth. I forgot to mention that Nate plugged the charger into the car for me and even helped to program my location I was headed to into my maps on my phone as my haste and non-tech savvyness was causing me confusion and he just made it happen. Thank you to both of these fine gentlemen and the one on the receiving end in Wooster whose name I did not catch. They were all amazing and I will definitely be using Enterprise again! read more

They must have a thieving employee. Make sure you take EVERYTHING out of your rental before returning it. My husband forgot our magnetic phone mounts when he returned it near the end of the day. Called first thing the next business day. They had magically disappeared. Now I have to buy new ones. They are $15 each on sale before shipping. I'm furious. Wow. A week later, and they have charged my card $73 for tolls and service fees. The charge popped up on our card with an unclear origin and without communication. A few days later, I received an email about it. I've been on our toll roads a couple of times this past month and paid for it each time with a ticket. Returned the rental car and realized after drop off that my brother left his wallet in it. Called and asked the employee to look for it where my brother thought it was and was told there was nothing there. A week later the next person to rent the car returns it, without the money my brother had in it. I've called this location and the customer service line and still no one has returned my call. Very poor customer service. Trying to get them to answer the phone, especially on a Friday is not easy. Long lines, had to wait a long time to ask a simple question that should have been able to have been answered over the phone. They took another customer who had not been waiting as long as us before they helped us. They charge more than Hertz, and they don't offer you a choice of a cheaper car (like a compact), so they can charge even more. Will definitely use Hertz next time I have a choice. read more

Made a reservation about an hour before I needed it. Had the car ready and waiting when I got there. Also, was able to return the car outside of normal business hours with the key drop box. Quick, cheap, easy. Will definitely go back. read more

Everyone. Don't use Enterprise rental cars. Apparently, you can only rent one of their crappy cars if you have a utility bill that meets their narrow requirements. Never mind having a bank card, a good credit rating, or you know, wanting to actually give them money for goods and/or services. They don't want it. They just want to make sure you're paying your gas bill on time. Also, that "will pick you up" tag line? It's crap. They won't. read more

This place has the worst service. It takes them forever to get you in your car and the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. Cars are usually dirty and already damaged. Beware-they have removed the after hours drop off so your schedule better allow you to return it during normal business hours. read more

The worst customer service ever! The cars are unclean, smell like smoke and are mechanically unsound. The vehicle that I rented had several computer issues and the parking brake locked up on the expressway and almost killed us. The "roadside service" never came and left us in Terre Haute Indiana without a replacement vehicle. Our group was traveling for government business and we couldn't even get them to call us back. Avoid at all costs. The counter is staffed by only one person for multiple rental agencies. I was handed a key and told where the car was parked. No inspections or walk around. When I returned, then the walkaround occurred and every ding and scratch noticed and a bill later came to home for $375. Beware! read more

Picked up a truck that was backed against wall, and weather was rainy . I went over throughly, and noticed many scuffs. Which I noted. Unfortunately I didn't notice right away one key fob was busted, and antenna was missing, which didn't allow me news stations on a.m. channels. I called them the next day, and they said, oh yes we knew about them. Then why wasn't it noted? And myself told about it? I had to return the vehicle to different enterprise rental. Upon delivery , they said the bumper has been dented. So here is the problem, I could not inspect the rear at time of pick up, and I know that was existing because of where I park daily. Then I get a charge for double of my quoted price. When I called Enterprise on Alexis in Toledo, they said we are charging for the bumper. No one ever called me like they said they were going to do, I just happen to see my credit cards and they were being sly and charging smaller amounts on 2 cards. Long story short, don't trust them, they don't follow through with what they tell you. If your rental is backed in, make them move it to a central location. Take many pics, which I didn't. Enterprise is a good rental provider. The rates are reasonable. The staff was good. The car I rented was not completely clean as there was an empty bottle and a note pad left under the seat by someone. The windshield was also cracked which was not noted on the agreement so I had to show the damage to the employee. The rest of the car was relatively clean except the front seats seemed to be quite blotchy with some sort of staining. I would rent from them again but I would take a closer look at the car before I selected it, if I have a choice. read more

I recently rented a Ram truck in August 2019 which turned out to be a nice ride. Unfortunately a rock hit the window and caused a crack. Upon our return we paid the $100 dollar insurance deductible and gave the office the necessary information to contact our insurance. My insurance did not received any contact from Enterprise, yet they have sent me two letters with different prices for the window replacement. I have forwarded this information again to Enterprise and my insurance. It seems so funny that you can hound me about this episode but when I rented a Dodge Durango a month later which had a leak in the gas line leading to the tank. We were 4 hours from home and placed numerous calls to your Emergency service which left us stranded with no replacement car. We took a chance and drove the vehicle home and we did not get one call or survey. The office personnel felt bad but your emergency service sucks.
