The carriage was decked out in red, white and blue and very clean! Victoria was full of trivia about the area and was a great photographer coaxing the three of us to have fun, stopping for pictures throughout the ride.

Olivia met us, graciously checking us in and introducing us to Bert. He is an amazing, loving, gentle horse. Very handsome too. The carriage, rigging and harness are all beautiful. It's is immediately obvious that the experience will be first class. The blankets are warm, the sky blue. There is snow on the ground and AJ, our driver, is a delight sharing stories of the horses, her life living with and caring for Bert and the other horses while we enjoy the scenery during our ride! AJ clearly has a special bond with Bert, I image with the others horses as well. She takes a pretty good photo too! The Borges are to be commended, as our their drives and horses. It is never too late to start a new annual tradition.

A few pointers: 1) If you book a single kayak, you will still use a double kayak. You will just be by yourself. I'm older and don't kayak often, so this was a little challenging. I had expected a one-person kayak. They did offer to pull me or have the boat pick me up if I got tired. I made it through without assist, but it's easier if you have someone to paddle with you. 2) The water is normally calmer in the mornings, so book the early tour if possible. 3) They take a pic of you in your kayak in the water, which is super nice. Buyer beware Epic made me buy a pair of skis to keep my vacation going. Six hundred dollars Epic managers failed for nine months to resolve. if ski found in melt we will return your money . They did not . finally Heavenly manager gave me a free rental next snow season at their resort.My Epic Gear customer service is poor. their policies are poor. I will not use Epic pass or Epic gear they lost a customer . Buyers beware of there fine print paperwork. There Managers never followed thru on any commitments to resolve

This review is for the time when 2/3 of the mountain was closed because the winds closed off the lifts. I visited in April 2019 when there was still a lot of snow. This time, only 2 lifts were working in the California side of the mountain for everyone visiting. Even though the lines were long as the routes were crowded, I enjoyed it, especially the long, windy route.

I am very happy with all the acquisitions; I feel I am getting a better value from my season pass. But now that I am a loyal Mt Rose customer, it gets harder and harder to come to the Vail/Epic resorts... Quality/Quantity - My favorite lifts and runs are at Heavenly Ski Resort. And more specifically, at the Stagecoach lift!! Long lift, long run, less people. Too bad the season is over and the NV side is closed. And due to the poor season and lack of snow, we needed to shuttle from the Sky/Canyon lift to the Gondola chairs (Dipper and Comet lifts)?!?! Lastly, the Tamarack lift opened half an hour late, not until 9:30am! Today was my worst day at Heavenly EVER!! Two seasons ago, I broke my vertical record with my daughter!! And on a Sunday! Ambiance - See above. Public paid parking lots. But today, my wife dropped me off and went to the lake house to relax. Well to check on the property. Open 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm. Service - Plenty of employees today, thank you. Price - I have a season pass. But due to the poor season and me being too lazy to drive an hour to ski, I have only used it once. This was one expensive day! I will probably not renew my pass for next season... Sadly. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your successes with your 42 resorts in 3 countries. Look forward to skiing as many of your properties as possible.

It is slippery, so when going uphill, the car in front of you may not be coming to a stop. They may be spinning their wheels (even with chains) and going nowhere.

We did a lot of research prior to booking this boat, and considered renting a boat, and assessing tour options. Our family loved it! We feel we made a great choice, and highly recommend this tour.

After waiting in line, it turns out we were supposed to go directly to the boat. None of this was explained on their webpage. Once we got on the cruise, we had a great time. Once you know where it is, it's highly recommended.
