Somthing is wrong with car rental companies. We booked a car online with AVIS, drove all the way to MBS Airport, waited in line for 20 min, only to be told they have no cars available. We called Enterprise and booked a rental online. Drove all the way to the rental place in Bay City. About 1000 feet from the business we were called and told, sorry we have no cars? They then transferred us to the Saginaw branch and we asked the lady on the phone " Are you certain you have a car?" The lady said; "Absolutely, 110% sure" We drove all the way over to Saginaw and you guessed it, no car. We called and complained, we were told we'd get a call back, never happened. We finally rented from a used car dealer in Saginaw next to the ICE arena. We will steer clear of Enterprise, and AVIS. read more

Been renting cars all my life, all over the world. Worst experience ever here with an uncaring staff and worthless branch "manager" (Gary). Had a reservation to pick up my confirmed car at 2pm to bring guests to my daughter's wedding. No cars and not a helpful word from the useless clerk and "manager". They not only didn't have a car that was confirmed, they could have cared less of the stressful situation this left us in for the wedding. No apology other than to say "look at our lot, we don't have cars" and to complain about THEIR reservation system confirming cars when they were out of them. Thoughtless, uncaring, unsympathetic employees here. No training (that they retained), sympathy, or aptitude toward solving the problem the Company caused. Gary Milbrot, the "manager" had the gaul to ask me to leave the premises while we were calling other branches looking for a call when he and his staff wouldn't lift a finger, not care to take ownership for the issue. We found a car down the street where another abused Enterprise customer was completing their rental when we got there and, before we left, this car company was driving to Enterprise to pick-up yet another renter who was denied with a confirmed Enterprise reservation. Save yourself a potential disappointment and an uncaring customer service experience, rent somewhere else or you too might not have a confirmed rental available. They seemed to think telling me they won't have a car till Monday for my Friday rental was acceptable and were belligerent on top of that. We'll make the rental plans thanks to Bay Rentals down the street. Gary: take a customer service 101 class or consider a career outside of customer service. They told me they had a car available. I drove an hour there and when I got there they said they hadnt had a car in hours. Then drove to another location that said they had a car, same thing, got there and they said they were completely booked all the cars they had were accounted for. The customer service line sent me on a wild chase trying to find a car in a hurry. Ended up finding a car at Avis, I called them they said they had one available and when I got there, they actually did. read more

I am utterly disgusted with this company.The car I rented was in horrible shape. There was a service light on and Konner tried to make it seem like he or the people who inspect the cars couldn't get it off. The light was on for very valid reasons! The tire pressure was low the brakes were scrubbing there was clunking in the front left tire as if a bearing or something was bad. The car looked goo on the outside but was not safe to drive! I wasted money going to this place. I haven't rented with them for years and I will never do it again. The white Audi is trashed anyone thinking of renting it don't! I only drove the car to my house and par it and am waiting for them to open at 9am. The appointment I rented the car for has to be rescheduled due to this crap! I feel like I was swindled and i will be contacting corporate although I get the impression it probably won't matter so I will take my business elsewher! read more

I rented a car for spring break. The car rode great and had no issues with it. When I returned it there was a problem with getting the deposit back and Ben Anderson went above and beyond to get it fixed for me. Very happy with the results and I'll gladly rent from here again. The worst rental company ever. I learned all about how they get repairs done that have been overlooked when an employee took in a car that had damage. If you choose not to buy their insurance because you have your own coverage they will soak you for any previous damage on their vehicle and totally get away with it. I had noticed the damage after arriving home. Went back in the next day so they would document it so I wouldn't get blamed. Honesty with his company does not pay!!!!! They are robbers. Stay away. Rent somewhere else!!! There is no recourse. If there was a negative star i would hit it!! Terrible customer relations also. Rude!!! read more

Not even worth 1 star but had to pick at least 1 to get this out to the public. Renters BEWARE!!! Take pictures of the car before you leave, every inch of it. Yes, even under the car. I have been renting vehicles from Enterprise since 2015, frequently. BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! I returned my car rental at 8am. The guy that took care of my rental return went out and checked out the car, came back in the office and said everything checked out fine and emailed me my release of responsibility. At 8:34 he called and left a message saying he went out and was moving the rental car to be cleaned and discovered a large scrape on the rocker panel on the passenger side. He wanted to know what happened, implying this was done while I had the car. I called him back an hour later, told him there was nothing wrong when I left the car. I told him that even he said everything checked out fine and he had emailed me my release of responsibility. He tells me that all he was doing was checking that the fuel was full...what the f***, really!!! Apparently, Enterprise's policy is to check the fuel level while the customer is there, tell them that everything is fine, release you from responsibility....and half hour later call and tell you that there is damage to the vehicle. This "damage" cannot be seen by doing the typical "walk around the car" inspection. To notice this you need to get on your knees. No one does that, not even the guy whose job it is to inspect! What car rental company inspects a car AFTER the customer leaves? Enterprise evidently. THIS DAMAGE DID NOT HAPPEN WHILE THIS VEHICLE WAS WITH ME. I believe this guy moved the car after I left, rammed into something and wants me to pay for his f*** up!!! The manager came to handle the situation and sucked at it. She stated they have cameras and it shows nothing on the car when I left. Of course not. The camera would only catch THE DRIVERS SIDE when leaving their parking lot. Needless to say I will fight this to the very end. I DIDN'T CAUSE THE DAMAGE and will not pay for someone else's f*** up. Will not be renting from them...EVER!!! read more

My second time renting and had an AMAZING experience! Everyone in the office was smiling and laughing the whole time I was there! I didn't get the car I was expecting, I wanted something small but Brent gave me a free upgrade into a van which worked out because I had some stuff I could move. Then their driver gave me a ride home after I returned he car and that old dude was funny too! My first time was at Avis at the airport but I def recommend the bay road office if you want fun staff and a good experience! read more

We travel a lot and were visiting family in Saginaw but needed a rental car to head to Indian River. We went inside and happened to get the manager. Even from the start she was less than polite, but that was okay since I understand that anyone can have a bad day. However, what started off as impolite turned more and more into rude and what I though was even mean. I was surprised to see what I was being charged for a 1 day rental but I still agreed to it because we were in a time crunch to make it up north. We started taking care of all of the paperwork, and as I sat there filling it all out it got to the point where I needed to add my wife as a second driver. We gave her our drivers licenses (which we were visiting from Alaska) and she wouldn't add her as my spouse since we have different last names. So now she wanted even more money to add her as a second driver instead of just as a spouse. When we asked why, she said it was because our last names didn't match. We tried to explain to her that because of our careers it works better for my wife to retain her original last name and even tried showing some documentation....shared bank account....shared insurance policy...checks..credit cards. But she very rudely told me it is not her problem and she will not add her as my spouse. I kindly told her thank you but I will not do business here and walked out. In the end if it is relevant, I went over to Alamo rent-a-car and had a FAR better experience. We were actually laughing about how I was treated at Enterprise and he apologized for her behavior. He kindly added my wife my second driver and in the end I paid $45 for an SUV and had a much more pleasant experience vs the $130+ that enterprise wanted for a car. This all happened apx 8-9 months ago and I have since vacationed 2 more times. I absolutely refuse to use Enterprise. If customer service is important to you, I would recommend not going to this location especially...but this place has ruined Enterprise for me all together. I will never return read more
