I have been a loyal customer with enterprise for many years and I have never felt robbed like I do now. I rented a Kia car for 30 days last September. Once I maxed those 30 days I was told I had to close that rental out return the car and start the prices again. So I did just that. I returned the car spic and span paid my fees and gave another 300 deposit to rent a Toyota rav 4 for 1 week. After that week was up I returned the car after hours and dropped the keys in the box. This was my biggest mistake. I assumed my deposit would be in my bank account the next day from previous experience with Enterprise. But here we are March of 2026 and I still have not received my deposit back. The manager Danya said she called multiple times and they said they sent me check (odd because its usually digital). I requested that check be canceled and another sent and she said she did this. Still no check . So I call weeks after and she said she now requested the check to be sent to her office for me to pick up. No call back. So I call the customer service myself and they are telling me I'm not owed a deposit as it was put towards my past rental. FALSE i paid for that rental separate and the deposit was put onto the next car as my invoices show. So which is it?? I was sent my deposit via check or I'm not owed a deposit at all? The second rep says if I am owed a deposit the manger could easily send my money herself and not have to get accounting included. What's the truth?!! Because my bank doesn't lie. This is the worst Enterprise rental company ever. The corporate phone number takes the reservations for the local areas and doesn't know what the are doing. They rent you vehicles that the local stores do not even carry (full size trucks) and when you get there to pick up the vehicle that you thought you rented they then tell you that they don't carry full size trucks. Enterprise rental is nothing but a joke. They should not even be open in Okeechobee. This is not the first time this has happened to us with other vehicles as well. Also you can not get thru to there local number it just gets answered by an answering center that doesn't know what they are even renting to people. They are the worst!!!!!!! read more

The staff at this location was very helpful this past weekend when my Chevy truck left me stranded 3 hours from home. I needed a rental while the truck was being repaired. The staff at Enterprise was super helpful, super nice and super efficient. I originally booked the car for a week as we needed to drive from Ocala to Okeechobee several times over the next week, and I had no idea how long the repairs on my truck would take, so I booked the car for a week. Repairs on the truck (at Gilbert Chevrolet, who I also highly recommend) were completed in two days, so we were able to return the car after1 day, and were charged only for the one day. I would add that while I was there, a most demanding, entitled custumer was giving the person at the desk a very hard time, trying to get a couple of days added to her rental at no extra charge. DO NOT rent here unless you like being taken advantage of. I rented a car for 10 days, driving 158 total miles on a new Toyota SUV. I did not care that I was returning the car without filling up the tank as the at fault party was going to take care of that issue. They did not and Enterprise sent me the bill. This is NOT the main issue. What irritates me is that the bill states this Okeechobee office filled up 14 gallons of fuel (this model has a 23 gallon gas tank) at 4.55 per gallon. I drove their new car 158 documented miles, using 14 gallons (they claim) of gas puts that car at 11.28 miles to the gallon. This math does not add up or make sense. This is not even close to the manufacturers stated city/highway. Try calling them and they hang up on you when the automatic system puts you on hold with this office. When I picked up the car, I thought I was in a day care facility with all the children and no customers in sight at 4:30 in the afternoon. They are closed both Sat. and Sun., banking hours are more per week. Hate to say it, but spend your money with a company that won't rip you off with fuzzy math and go out of town for a rental. Never again! I would not give any stars. My fiancé rented a van to drive his family to visit for a surprise engagement proposal during Labor Day weekend. While driving, he noticed the van had ROACHES! Infestation does not happen overnight. Coincidentally a number texts him asking about his experience and he replied that the van had roaches. Once he reached the destination, he noticed someone responded asking how could they help and when he responded, he received no answer. I'm assuming the store was closed at this point. He tried calling the store phone to see if he could switch out the vehicle at a local location but could not reach anyone at the store. Therefore, he had to bomb the vehicle twice and could not utilize the van during his stay, which resulted in extra transportation expenses. The vehicle was returned, as expected, and corporate was contacted. Someone finally reached out to us and nothing was resolved. However, it's November 20 and still no update. It's clear that they don't abide by their "COMPLETE CLEAN PLEDGE".... And my google review "mysteriously" disappeared. read more

If I could rate this place a zero, I would! Please read all the way. BEWARE save yourself the hassle and headache and rent a vehicle somewhere else!!! I had a rental reservation for today 1/10/22; I called them two days before to make sure everything was set and ready to go and also to ask if transportation was available from the dealership where my vehicle would be dropped off for service (1/2 mile away). I was told yes everything was ready all I had to do was bring my ID, copy of insurance and to give them a call when I was at the dealership. It's 3:08 when I've dropped off my vehicle and I made the call to Enterprise for a ride. Someone picked up the phone and hung up. I called again and this time, as soon as "Kayla" answered the phone, she stated she was going to put me on hold...before I could even say a word. 20 mins go by and I'm still on hold. Finally, I decide to just walk there myself. About 10 mins later and after having to cross the busy highway (no pedestrian walk way) I arrive at Enterprise Okeechobee. I see a man just sitting at his desk, scrolling on his personal cell phone; with my phone in my hand and still on hold, I explain that after being on hold for 27 + mins and having to walk there, I am there to pick up my rental. The guy tells me Kayla is outside with a customer, there is another customer waiting, and then it's my turn. I'm not sure what his name is or what his title is here but he did nothing to help. Maybe 5 mins go by (pretty quick compared to my wait time on the phone) and Kayla walks in. I explain my situation and she didn't even apologize. It gets worse. She tells me there are no vehicles available, even though I have a reservation and I was expected to arrive today, 1/10/22. According to Kayla, the only two vehicles that were available, had to be taken to Tires Plus early that day to be serviced. A phone call to notify me of this prior to my arrival would have been nice. I would've arranged other plans but I wasn't notified. So now, I'm here stranded with no vehicle and no ride. So I said I would sit there and wait for someone to pick me up, not sure how long it's going to take. The guy told me they close at 5 and if my ride is not here before then, I can wait outside or walk to McDonald's next door to wait there. Meanwhile I'm sitting here (not asking to be in this situation), just her and I, Kayla is being rude slamming doors, setting things down loudly and having a keyboard war. Another customer comes in to pick up her reservation, I made a comment "you're out of luck" and she's told the same thing I was. At least her ride is still waiting outside. Shortly after comes in another woman saying she's been calling all day with no answer or if someone did answer they would hang up, and she just wanted to know if her reservation is ready for Wednesday. I said " excuse me" and made the suggestion to her to call the day of/before she physically drove there so she wouldn't be stuck in the situation I currently am in. Kayla snapped and told me to be quiet or leave. I then said, just go on Google and read the reviews to judge for yourself when Kayla then threatened to call authorities to escort me out of the building if I didn't stop talking. I told her "go ahead, that's fine with me. I'm not doing anything but trying to share my personal experience in hopes to help the next person". It's now 4:50 and my ride is finally here, I won't have enough time to make it to Stuart Enterprise to pick up a car there (which I arranged over the phone while waiting for my ride, because they didn't offer to help in anyway!). Never do an after hours return at this location. My boyfriend and I picked up an enterprise car in Orlando on Thursday, May 20 around 10pm and returned the car Friday, May 21 at 5:45pm (even have a time stamped photo of the car being returned at this time). This location supposedly has after hours return but, I was charged as if I had returned the rental on Monday, May 24. 4 phone calls to Enterprise later and multiple promises that someone will call me back, I still have not had my money returned. Filed a dispute with my credit card company and will not be using this company again, especially for an after hours return. What a scam. read more
