I was met with a woman who started with "we close in 13 minutes, can you make it"? I said yes, then I was told "we'll I dont have any cars anyway". Confused at the lack of concern over an active rental experiencing a serious issue, i chose to file a complaint with customer support. Support stated that I would receive a phone call with additional direction. I never got that call. I called them back the next day even more upset that I cant seem to get this vehicle replaced. This time, I asked for them to tell me the notes they had on the account, and they did not note ANY of my complaints. Which is falsification of records and omitting that there was ever a complaint. After expressing my discontent with the Midlothian locations lack of interest in helping me, now compounded by the fact that customer support is consciously omitting details from clients, i requested that Enterprise deliver a replacement. Support states that their roadside initiates that. Which, i completely understand. Unfortunately, customer support did nothing but put me in que with roadside, which had zero information on who I am, the situation at hand, or anything for that matter. ENTERPRISE, WHY DOES THE END USER HAVE TO INITIATE THE NEXT LEVEL OF SUPPORT? Exhausted for trying to do simply exchange a car and file a complaint has exposed the fact that Enterprise does NOT truly respect their clients. If you have an issue in a rental, you better have that issue on their time. If you need to escalate an issue with Enterprise, you will be ignored and the record of your interactions WILL NOT be reflected in any notes taken on their end. Completely disgusted with the Midlothian location and customer support, I called another location and was in and out in less than 7 minutes. Oh, and the Midlothian location that "didnt have any cars anyway" had DOZENS of cars on the lot ready to go with gloves ox and armrest open, pics below. The young lady at the Midlothian location should be fired, and customer support needs a complete overhaul.

I can only imagine what is going on and being said behind closed doors. The way he talked with customers was neither helpful, or supportive. Maybe that is what Hertz wants...a demeaning manager, who berates his employees in front of customers, talks over customers, and does not provide solutions. I also just found out this is his first week?!? Anyways, shout-out to Shaheem, he did a great job dealing with David's attitude, and handling a stressful situation. Thank you for all your help! I'm giving this place a 4 star, for two reasons. One is that the people who helped me, did the best, with the resources that they had. Secondly, I want this to stand out as it is the only 4 star review. One last note...it's May...and almost every one of the lights were busted.

I have been in the property and casualty insurance business for 32 years, and have helped thousands of people approved rental cars as a result of a covered claim. Unfortunately early, the morning of 3/2/26 before work I was in an accident and my car was not drivable, needed to be towed to a collision shop. I have a brand new job, so getting to work the same day was imperative. I found a rental at approximately 11a.m I was quoted $55/day. on Wednesday, my insurance company called and authorized a rental car for me, but they, like most insurance companies use Enterprise. I brought them the car back Wednesday and told I would get back my $200 deposit. Well did not happed and they charged me $400 for two days of a rental. I have called and spoke with someone and set up a case for a dispute. Well, since that time, I have not gotten a response from a human being and all I've gotten is two emails., saying my case was updated twice. Over a month, no resolution, no human explanation of what I was charged and no refund. This the poorest customer service and bait and switch sales technique I have ever experienced. I would rather rent a horse for transportation than do business with this crooked company. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THEM! This is the first of many bad reviews that will be written. Case: 80350414
