I would just like to let everyone know that if they need any type of Limo service to call Parrish…read moreLimo (parrishlimos.com) at (570) 655-3737 or (570) 654-3681 and speak with Donna. I called around and found that Parrish Limos was the least expansive and most professional to deal with. Their drivers Gary ( who pick us up on a 18 passenger Limo Bus at Philadelphia Airport and drove us to Wilkes-Barre and then drove us to NYC on 2 separate occasion) and Allen ( drove us on a 14 passenger Lincoln Navigator to attend a wedding and reception) was very polite and safe drivers. For the 3 separate occasions, it only cost $1610.00 including tolls, parking and 15% gratuity for the drivers. Also the 3 different Limos we used were very clean and beautiful.

Don't ever sign up for this. They are liars. We were told we can cancel everything if we don't want…read morethe service anymore or can't go any further monetary by a supervisor. We took his word for it and signed. They refuse to cancel anything. They are so money hungry. What bothers me is the continuing service charge that you get charged quarterly after you pay off the financial part. You can tell them in every form or shape that you can't continue and they will not cancel it at all. Go on vacation on your own without them, believe me it is cheaper and better. I prefer they get no stars but Yelp doesn't allow it.

Our family had never visited the Poconos area, and I wanted to maximize our experience in the few…read moredays we would be in the region...so I decided to enlist a guide. What a good decision. Tom has quite a few tour options...something for most interests and levels of physical ability. He was quite willing to adapt/customize any of the tours to suit our needs. We did a two day tour combo, going hiking in Hickory Run State Park on the first day and learning about the coal mining history of the area on day two. The coal tour included a trip into an actual mine, a mini-tour of the surrounding communities, and finished up with a bike ride down the old switchback gravity mine car trail. What stood out to me, in addition to the interesting locales we visited, was the passion that Tom has to share the history of this area. He wanted to put the mine tour into the context of what it was like to have actually lived as a miner. He added his own information at the mine tour to what the tour operator told us. He shared about how the topography, geography, and geology all played into the story of the coal industry's history. And the mini-tour of the communities helped us learn about the economic impact (past and present) of the industry. Tom not only displays passion for the history of the region, he is congenial and a good communicator. And he is also very observant of everyone on the tour, doing his best to give individual attention to assure each person as a good experience. I only wish we had more time to learn about other aspects of Jim Thorpe's history. I guess we have something to look forward to on our next visit.

We can't give a higher recommendation than we can give Tom and JTX.

We took a NY City tour on 4/15/17, with guide Hal Glicksman. Outstanding, is an understatement!!…read more Hal was incredibly passionate, informative, funny, and a true gentleman. He went out of his way to make sure everyone in our group was getting a great experience. Hal gave us a plethora of facts we would've never known, and showed us things in NY that blew our minds. We're still telling stories to our friends about what he taught us. The three biggest things we did in NY was this tour, Coney Island, and center stage for Wicked at the Gershwin. If I had to choose one it would be this tour with Hal, everyday and twice on Sunday! I literally laughed, cried, and just stood in awe at times. Thank you, it was the best money we spent in NY.
