I had an entire conversation with her about prepaying for gas as Budget's gas prices are $1.75 and currently we're sitting at about $2.17. We laughed and joked about it. My email confirmation said $144 for the rental. I was charged $159 (never looked at the receipt but I figured I prepaid for gas so it sounded about right) fast forward 4 days now it's time to return. I don't fill up cause hello I prepaid lol. I hand her the keys she asks if I need a receipt I say no (WISH I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT)I check my CC before I was even in the car (I got an alert within 30 seconds of her running my card ) and I see an $89 charge it's pending so in my mind I'm thinking the rental was less than I was originally quoted and the larger $159 will just fall off because remember I said I got an alert 30 seconds after she ran my card. But she never followed me outside. Never checked the car/gas gauge never left her seat so how would she know if I filled up ? So I don't think anything of it. 5 days later both charges are still there so of course I call Budget and the same woman who helped me is who answered. She remembered me and everything about me EXCEPT the conversation about me prepaying for gas !! ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!?? So when I asked why was the total from my email confirmation different from their total she than stated they add an EXTRA 10% fee on top. Mind you that's stated NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE, EMAIL CONFIRMATION NOR WAS IT TOLD TO ME VERBALLY! I honestly feel like she saw that I didn't ask for the receipt and jumped at the chance to charge me more. So of course I called my CC company and told them what happened. They gave my a temporary credit while they "investigate" will update with results as they come in. Smh

I prepaid the rental, but at check in had to put down a $200 deposit (it was refunded upon return of the car) I reserved a Midsize SUV, and got a Jeep Compass which was decent, but honestly would not classify as midsize because you can't put 2 adults and a car seat in the back . Just not enough room. Our flight was delayed by several hours, so I tried to call to try to extend my reservation, but you can't get through to anyone.. not locally or nationally . So we ended up having to return it earlier either way. We filled up the car less than a mile from the return, then get an email receipt showing they charged me $10.99 per gallon, plus other fees - based on the miles driven! Even though we filled up before returning. I emailed a copy of my receipt to customer service showing the fill up, still waiting for my refund of $98 for gas for 8 gallons ! They all really made sure that I was well taken care of :) ! At first, I actually wanted to rent a brand new white 2023 Toyota Corolla hybrid :) ! I got all of my bags and items into the car and I was ready to check out when I noticed that it didn't seem to take my USB charging cord. I read the manual to make sure I didn't miss anything. Finally, I asked one of the male employees, who pointed out to me that the newer rental cars now only have the USB-C ports (and not the regular USB ports anymore). He said I would need an adapter to be able to charge my device on this new car. I was dismayed because I actually really wanted to try out the new 2023 Toyota Corolla hybrid. But I only had the regular USB charging cord :( . The National male employee was really nice and pointed out some other rental cars, such as a burgundy Nissan Altima, that would allow me to charge since they still had the regular USB port. So I rented the Nissan Altima instead :) ! It still served me really well and I was still really happy that the Altima got me around town :D ! Upon returning the Altima yesterday at the conclusion of my trip, the employee who checked my return was really efficient, and also really friendly and courteous :) ! I will definitely rent National again in the future for future trips :) ! Their cars are very polished and so clean :D ! I was pretty happy overall with both the exceptional customer service and the awesome quality of the available car rentals :) !

We were going to go to the airport but realized that the airport charges a "Airport" concession fee to rent a car from them. Hertz was a quick and painless process, they gave us a comparable car for like $20 a day. (I would suggest using a credit card instead of a debit card so they don't hold extra funds out of your bank account though). The car was clean and did not smell like feet or cigarettes, I cannot stand that, some companies tell people don't smoke in the cars but let people do it anyway. We ended up needing the car an extra week, and it was no problem, we just simply called them up and let them know. Upon returning the car, we let them know that we accidentally put a little more gas in it and it wasn't actually full all the way when we got it. They gave us a little discount and went the extra mile for us. I will always be a Hertz customer whenever I travel or if we ever have car trouble in the future, as long as their prices remain competitive, and trust me I'm checking.

We got a flat in the middle of nowhere, on our way to Chihuahua, MX, the double doors on the side of the van shake and squeak A LOT, it makes the van feel like an old bumpy vehicle that needs to go out of service ASAP almost all the seats are thorn, what a shame that when I told the owner about it he said yeah it's because of the use thats normal wear and tear I wouldn't go back to this place for another vehicle even if it was for free. BAD CHOICE
