Issues: poor plan to begin with and 30 day guarantee on plants -ridiculous. This was a complete overhaul front and back. Front entry is a mishmash of random plants. Go to a big box store and have your lawn guys plant the plants. You'll do a better job.

For starters, instead of cutting the limb back to the tree, the cut it off at around 10 feet, for a dead limb. Two, they did not clean up the roof at all. Left crap everywhere and claimed "The contract doesn't allow us to clean up after ourselves." The top of the crop was them dropping the debris they did clean up right on the power box...... and half way into our neighbors driveway. Matt is very rude and I would not recommend using this company ever.

This was not a good experience. I do not recommend Mulch-aholics for any type of tree work or land…read moreclearing jobs. I hired him to trim down some bushes, hack down 2 more to the ground, take out one large dead tree, and trim another large tree and clean out the vines that were growing into everything. Yes, it was a huge mess, thats why I hired it out! He sent 2 laborers to my house and then left for the entire day . While the men were very nice and easy to work with, they were not supplied with good working equipment. First thing in the morning, the owner Mike came with a chain saw that needed adusting and he did not have the proper tools to fix it so he borrowed a screw driver and rachet set from my husband to do it. (Not a good sign). After he left, the 2 workers started taking down the dead tree. Their pole saw kept breaking down, jamming, and then the chain would fall completely off. This happened over and over. Since they owner left them unsupervised and did not explain well enough for them to understand, I was forced to supervise and tell them what i wanted cut and trimmed! All day long this went on, from 8:30 am til 6:30 pm. My husband and i were both out there helping to pull down vines and piling up debris. He did not finish the job properly he left all the dead vines just hanging in the air. Also he didn't even finish trimming the bushes! I told him I wasn't happy with the job and his response was "for the price i charged you, this is as good as it's going to get." So in other words you get what you pay for! So unprofessional, and such terrible business practices! I was planning on having him Mulch my entire property, nope! He lost that job. I reluctantly paid him the agreed upon price. We made sure we tipped the 2 workers, bc they busted their butts trying to get it done. I felt so bad for that kid, he had to work twice as hard then he needed to, because of the faulty equipment he was given to do the job. This is no way to run a business. As a business owner myself, I know that customer satisfaction and a job well done is extremely important for your companys reputation and future referral business.
