Before you head to Kathmandu, Anaconda, or any of those other better known camping stores, you'd do well to go the distance and check out Enoggera Camping. It's a warehouse full of camping gear.
Earlier this year, I was preparing for a trip. I was going to need a head lamp, a camelback, a utility belt, a small inflatable mattress, a very compactable gas cooker, and other bits and bobs. I did my research online and found that I could get everything I needed at the cheapest price at Enoggera Camping.
The savings are great. The least I saved on an item was $10, but that's still $10 more in my pocket. The staff there are incredibly helpful and are well equipped to assist you with what you need.
While you're there, check out the aisle devoted to family sized tents. They've got some great set ups, including bunk fold out army beds, (BUNKS!) that might just inspire you to set up life out in the wild for good. They make it look easy and luxurious. read more
