They have spacious self-contained one, two bedroom and three bedroom holiday apartments, most with views overlooking Coolum Beach and the Pacific Ocean or the Coolum Hillsides. It's a good 15-20 minute walk to most dining and shopping in Coolum.But this is a good alternative to staying in Coolum on the main road with all that traffic noise. The bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of glasses and dishes in the kitchen, bathrooms that are plenty large, laundry machines for each unit, and a big deck. But like I said before, this place is right across the street from the beach, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, even a chemist right on Hastings. The staff is super friendly and happy to provide recommendations for things to do and where to hire sporting goods and whatnot, as well as extra towels.

My husband and I stayed five nights…read morein a second floor three-bedroom apartment in a terrific location in the centre of Caloundra, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants and one block away from Bulcock Beach. We stayed in apartment 201 which had two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with 2 single beds. The master bedroom had a TV, ensuite and walk in robe and there was a family bathroom. There was a full laundry washing machine and dryer, and a combined kitchen/dining/living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen was very well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, fridge freezer, kettle, electric cooktop, microwave, oven, toaster, and dishwasher. We really loved the feel of the apartment - it was bright, modern and well designed with high quality furnishings and fittings. The complex has two pools - which we didn't visit because it was too cold. The underground parking garage was very secure with access controlled by key fobs. If you have mobility issues, there are two lifts with access to all floors. This is a terrific option for a central Caloundra stay!

He was totally friendly and had grade-A recommendations for things to do in the area. He had this great mountain biking recommendation that I did not see coming because there is so much surfing nearby - it was some of the best riding I've done. The atmosphere of this place is so relaxing and comfortable that it just made me want to stay - and so I changed some plans and stayed for two extra nights. It was very friendly and lacked that stuffy corporate hotel vibe, it was perfect. The place is about a 10-minute walk outside of Coolum itself, but the path is gorgeous, so I never regretted not having a car. Plus the outside was completely quiet, so I was able to leave the door to the patio open the whole time and listen to the sounds of nature. The beds probably weren't the most comfortable in the world, but I could never figure out why because I was asleep within moments of hitting the pillow - I guess that means I was having enough fun during the day. Do yourself a favor, get off the beaten path, and check this place out, it's one in a million.

This cabin has the forest views. The price is ok can be a bit pricey, we found a package price on-line for a discount witch saved us a few hundred dollars. They do supply you with enough Berkie for your stay, but you do need to cook it yourself. They have a small fridge and a stove top but we just used the electric fry pain the whole time we stayed to save on washing up. I would recommend take some nibbles with you when you go because allot of the cafes and restaurants close up early on weekdays. They cabin has loads of door everywhere as it was designed for an open atmosphere. At night you can hear the possums and nuts falling on top of the tin roof. The bed was to soft for us and man did we miss our own bed. So if you have a favourite pillow I would STRONGLY recommend taking it with you. Our favourite thing about this place is the spa bath, we spent many hrs in this spa when we where there, goes down well with a champagne. While watching the sunset. There is no reception in the cabins so that means no messages, no phone calls, no Internet. So it makes for a very romantic get away. It is only a half hr drive in any direction to some sort of attraction.

Rooms are comfortably large. Yes, they are a bit outdated (brick walls with faux wood paneled closet, pink toilet) - but wasn't in any sense tacky at all. The previous review stated that the bedspread was outdated but I thought ours wasn't (classy white with a silver/gray runner at the foot of the bed). We booked two separate rooms (one for us, one for my parents). Unfortunately we didn't think to request that the rooms to be adjoining because we did notice our room had a door to the next room (occupied/locked) - but next time we will do so! There is a mini refrigerator, toaster, and electric kettle for your use. You can request microwave if you should need one. There are BBQs to use (must reserve). There is a pool for use during the day time. Trust me, you don't want to head there at night. Tennis court too. Our rooms had adjoining balcony with a great view of the hinterland rainforest. All around a comfortable stay and one we will definitely consider again in the future for a quick getaway!
