Over the years have had a hit or miss satisfaction rate at various massage establishments. I love,…read moreno I need a good massage at least once a month. (Who doesnt?) Started going to the Canton spa a couple of years back and have been lucky with some good therapists but it seems when somebody is good word gets around and before you know it they are booked out. It happened to me and I luckily ended up with H**** who was transitioning from Bridgewater to Canton. Well what a fortunate break that was as she is the most awesome of sauces. What I like is her creativeness always changing up but always on point and she is intuitive. Has a good feel. When I'm done I cant get off the table! What better trait is there for a masseuse? She has now gone back to Bridgewater and what do you know I followed her back like the puppy I am. It's really only a 10 minute additional drive which is not even a Grateful Dead tune! I told them that I would put in a good word as I have been so pleased and here it is. The girls at the desk are very nice, the place has lots of parking, is super clean and has a nice waiting room and on the table the music isn't even half bad. I suppose I am risking H getting super busy but I've figured out the game, book way, way in advance lol. Cant wait till my next session!!

I love the whole team and I always feel at ease once I step my feet inside and speaking of them I…read moreneed to book my next facial

This was my second visit to JJ's, and unfortunately I would not recommend it…read more The first time I booked a deep tissue massage and requested medium pressure. It ended up being far too intense for me, but I assumed I had simply chosen the wrong type of massage and decided to give the business another chance. For my second visit, I specifically booked a Swedish massage and requested light pressure, knowing the pressure had been too much the first time. Despite that, the massage therapist repeatedly used deep pressure, and I was visibly uncomfortable. Throughout the session, she asked if the pressure was okay, and more than a dozen times I asked her to lighten it. I repeatedly explained that it was painful and that I couldn't relax when the pressure hurt. Instead of respecting my request, she argued that a Swedish massage "wouldn't help my muscles." I wasn't there for a diagnosis or to be told what treatment I should receive--I booked a Swedish massage because my goal was to relax. That goal was completely missed because my repeated requests were ignored. On top of that, she asked me more than 10 times why I don't come in more often. I kept my answers short, and eventually stopped responding because I don't enjoy making conversation during a massage, especially when I'm repeatedly being questioned about my attendance. A massage should be a relaxing experience where the client's preferences and comfort come first. Ignoring repeated requests about pressure and continuing unwanted conversation made this experience incredibly disappointing. It was a waste of money, and I won't be returning.

I went to J.J Thai Spa specifically for neck and lower back pain. I paid for a 45-minute massage,…read morebut the therapist did not use the full time and spent it doing other things instead of focusing on my problem areas. She completely skipped my lower back, and my neck (which was stuck and the main reason I went) felt like nothing was done. I left feeling no relief at all and very disappointed. On top of that, I was pressured into giving a tip even though I was unsatisfied with the service. This was a very poor experience and I would not recommend this place if you need real therapeutic work.
