The campus of NWOSU in Enid is a bit of an anomaly. It is a modern, well kept building with a great…read morestaff. It is a satellite campus of the main campus located in Alva. A student can get everything done at this campus except use the amenities of the main campus like the gym. The library is available to do research and provides many computers so you never need to wait. Additionally, the upstairs computer lab has computers available with no wait. Through an agreement with Northern Oklahoma College, freshman and sophomore level classes can be taken at NOC and transferred to NWOSU. The higher division courses are offered by instructors on the Enid campus or the other two campuses and beamed through Internet television. It sounds a little dicey but seems to work great. This college uses technology to link folks across Northwest Oklahoma to real educational opportunities.

Thank God they showed that side of themselves cuz I wouldn't even want my baby around them. They hung up on me when I first called pretending not to hear me. Caught them in the act. People who know me knows I'm really nice but shy. But these people didn't deserve nice. I cussed at them before hanging up I'll admit. But I never cussed at anyone I didn't know in my whole life. These girls really had an attitude on them. I recorded the call and my sons dad was listening the whole time. Were glad they acted the way they did because now we know not to put our baby near them. Oh and also they refused to give a name. Both the manager and director. Weird. They asked for mine and I gave it without hesitation. They didn't want to give one because they know what they did.

They teach the kids to clean up and to help out around the house. He definitely brings this stuff home with him. He learns about responsibility but LOVES going to school. I don't even think he realizes he's learning things, it's all fun to him. He asks to come to school on weekends, that's how much he loves it. The security is very tight as well, you can trust that your child is safe. Highly recommended.

I took my mother to the All Classes reunion. It was a festive affair, with a nice agenda,…read moredelicious catered food and a business agenda. It had the feel of being a club atmosphere. There were roughly 50 people in attendance. Some years were not represented, possibly because they all died. The oldest in attendance was 95, if I heard right. She grad ug ated in the 40's. The youngest was from a class in the 80's. My mom won a Walmart gift card in a drawing. Nice door prize! The theme was Homecoming. They elected a queen and king, who were then crowned and cheered. Lots of clapping, good time all around.

I attended the Medford H.S. Cardinals at Deer Creek-Lamont H.S. Eagles football game on 9/23/2011…read moreat Lamont, OK. It was the DCLA Homecomeing game. The final score of the game was 46-0. The eight man football game ended at the half because of the score. The MVP of the game was DCLA's Tyler Kirby who had 196 yards rushing on just 10 carries for the Eagles. I'm only giving three stars because I was rooting for Medford.
