I hired Wendy to oversee redecorating my 1 bedroom condo over the Summer of 2024. It included…read morepaint selection, window treatments carpet, wall unit built in and new furniture . when I arrived in the Fall to supposedly my finished apt I found a disaster. $8000 carpet that was ruined by her installer. $11,000 in window treatments that didn't operate and the apartment which was supposed to be painted completely ---unfinished and a very unprofessional job. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. Felt like she would just get away with whatever she could.

She came back with a beautiful design board that I loved. She picked out lighting, window treatments, and furniture that I wouldn't have picked on my own. I wanted fresh ideas that took me out of my comfort zone and we love the look of everything Wendy did. It is even amazing to see the effects of new lighting and art on the entry way. Wendy and her team are easy to work with and we enjoyed the whole experience.

Excited…read moreand nervous about building and furnishing a new home, we knew we needed to work with a designer to help us manage the building process, oversee the construction, and finally piece together each room to create not just a living space, but our home. Within minutes of speaking to Nikki on the telephone, I knew she was "the one," and I have never regretted my decision. Nikki spent countless hours designing and iterating each room of our home enhancing my vision to be even more amazing than I imagined it could be. She was honest, creative and simply an absolute delight with which to work. Six years later and I continue to receive compliments every time someone walks into my home. The design continues to be timeless and contemporary all at once! Six years since we moved in and I have not hesitated to reach out to Nikki for small things that needed some refreshing -- that family room rug that my little ones got marker on or the vinyl on the kitchen barstools that simply wore out after six years! Next up, we'll be taking my kids' rooms from toddler rooms to teen rooms and there is no one else I'd hire to make their dream rooms a reality!
