Wow! I found a great doctor and I wanted to share it with you all. His name is Dr. Mark Fruendt,…read moreand he is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician. As a primary care physician, he is a BCBS PPO provider, he also accepts Medicare. But you can read this on the website https://huntsvilleprimarycare.com I have finally found someone that will listen to my needs and desires regarding my health and explain and discuss the pros and cons. He seems very willing to support my goals and give me what I need to achieve them. If you are looking for a new doctor or just needing health care I would happily recommend Dr. Fruendt and his fabulous staff! I was very impressed that I actually talked to a physician and he spent time with me discussing my health care goals. I really liked that he wants to support my goals and was interested in helping me achieve them. So many physicians run in, spend three minutes, bark some orders, then prescribe a ton of expensive medicine. I love that Dr. Fruendt actually listened and supported my desire to get rid of some of my medicine by changing easy things like diet and lifestyle! Every other practitioner I've seen in the past has been eager to go with the status quo and my chronic condition wasn't getting much better. And my medicine was getting more and more expensive and every visit I seemed to get more of it. Surely medicine has more to offer than pills and potions. I think I've found a fantastic physician that will support and encourage a more healthy life style with goals to get better and reduce all the pills and potions thereby improving both my health and my budget! Call them and see if you don't love them as much as my husband and I do!!!

After a few days, I feel like I am getting a sinus infection so I returned before the weekend. This medical office does a great job of working patients in. It is so popular that they are not taking new patients. It's been that way for at least 15 years it seems to me. Upon arrival with Dave, who probably has Covid because he is sick, we are immediately removed to a room away from the general population. I didn't mind. I don't have to sit in misery while I worry I might cough or sneeze with my mask on. Nobody wants to be near anyone who looks and feels sick. Doctor Brittany was out. Doctor Chrissy, more than capable of filling in for Doctor Brittany, checked us out. I have a secondary infection, sinus, developing. She checked me out and sent an e-prescription to Walgreens. Dave is positive for Covid. Doctor Chrissy sent cough medicine for him. Thankfully he wasn't as sick with Covid as I was. We have been patients at Gleneagles Family Medicine for years. Their willingness to work us in and the fabulous staff make for memorable office experiences. 5/5

I…read morehave been seeing the "doctors" at Gleneagles Family Medicine for probably half my life (I'm 32 now). They KNOW I have a history of this. They have refused to treat me and only want to test me for covid, which they had already done about a month ago. The test was negative. The doctor brushed off how I was feeling and said it was probably viral and gave me a prescription for antibiotics but told me not to fill them for a few days because he said I would start feeling better. I filled them immediately and took them as instructed. It's been a month and I am still having the same sinus related issues. They only wanted to test for covid again. I can't even count how many times I have been tested anymore and every single one of them has come back negative. Well I called and demanded treatment this morning. All I asked for was to be actually seen by a doctor or nurse practitioner and be given a steroid shot, antibiotics, and cough suppressant. After multiple phone calls to and from the nurse, not only was I NOT seen by a "doctor" or "nurse practitioner" I was literally given a steroid shot OUTSIDE in the alley. A nurse who did not identify herself came outside with a syringe, alcohol wipe and a band-aid. She said I could either bend over my front seat or step out of my vehicle to receive the shot. I have a very small car. I had to get out of my car and pull my butt out for anyone to see. After receiving the shot I had to ask for an antibiotic prescription again which was called into my pharmacy begrudgingly. I never received any prescription for my cough. This ally way that I just received my shot in is also where they do all of their drive by covid testing. So if I haven't had it before I probably do now....

RUN RUN RUN RUN AWAY…read more We were referred to Dr. Raby from our Pediatrician, after our son had an Emergency trip to the Emergency Room for eating peanuts. I will cut to the chase: We waited 2.5 HOURS to be seen after our scheduled appointment time. Which is so awesome with a two year old. The nurse came in finally, and skin tested our son (they stick 30 needles in their back) which was also unpleasant as you can imagine. The nurse who did the testing was roughly 92 years old, (Very nice, but probably needs to not be doing this) and concluded that our son was allergic to OAT, not Peanuts. They suggested lab testing where we then had to schedule a blood draw, and after getting those results, it was confirmed that he was indeed allergic to Peanuts and not Oat. Long story short, the nurse messed up the skin test. Full stop. I questioned the lady when they called with the results of the lab test, and she suggested coming back for a re-test. I then asked for a call back from the Doctor, and the woman (Lisa) said "The doctor doesnt call patients, she makes her recommendation than has us call" STAY AWAY. STAY FAR AWAY.

Don't just walk, RUN away from this office!!…read more My husband was referred to Dr. Raby by our PCP for a terrible bout with a skin rash. Dr. Raby performed in office allergy testing on him, which seemed like a logical place to start. We got some results right away from that, but she also ordered blood work. My husband didn't realize until he got to the lab, the blood work amounted to 10 vials (!!) of blood, as well as a urine sample. We were feeling pretty optimistic though thinking all this testing would surely tell us what was wrong with him. Turns out, we couldn't have been more wrong! Three weeks after this work up, I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company and learned the office visit to Dr. Raby was almost $1000 and the blood work... the blood work totaled almost $5000!! This shock combined with the fact we have not even HEARD from Dr. Raby about the lab results added insult to injury. My husband promptly showed up in the office (after not being able to get a call back) and was told the blood work showed nothing more than we learned from the in office allergy testing. We assumed that Dr. Raby had a plan of action to tackle my husband's issue and never thought she was just "shooting in the dark" with all this testing. Since the initial visit, we never even heard back from Dr. Raby. The best my husband got was information through the nurse. On 6 July, more than four weeks after my husband's appointment, the nurse phoned to say Dr. Raby recommended he take a whole slew of allergy medications to cover the gamut. This whole debacle has been absolutely ridiculous and ghastly expensive with nothing to show for it.
