    6-8wk estimated delivery of couch not yet received 13 wks later. Owner, Craig Bailey said "there's…read morenothing I can fucking do about it" when called. My fiance and I ordered a sectional from Vance furniture company back in the begining of November, 2012. We were to be moving into our first apartment together that week. We decided we wanted a higher quality sofa and decided to go with Vance furniture company, as the reviews we read about them were very good. We placed our order on 11/12/12 along with a $2000.00 deposit and were given a delivery range of 6-8 weeks. Nothing was mentioned in our contract about an increase in delivery time due to the approaching holidays. As we approached the 5-6 week mark, my fiance placed a call to the company to check the status of our order and we were told that it would take the full 8 weeks before we had our couch. At the 8-week mark, we placed another phone call when we still had not received our couch. My fiance spoke to the owner - Craig Bailey - of Vance Furniture company, who told him that they were closed a week for Thanksgiving and a week for Christmas so our order wasn't slated to arrive for 10 weeks from our order date, a point that was not disclosed in our contract. Mr. Bailey told my fiance that the shipping company had already picked up our order and we should call them because now "there's nothing I can fucking do about it." When my fiance called the shipping company they had no record of our product on file. When we then called Mr. Bailey to tell him about the shipping company and perhaps get some clarity on the subject, he said "it's out of my fucking hands." We then decided to take the higher road and let it go... we already put a lot of money down and didn't want to lose that. We also didn't want to lose more time in looking for another couch. We were hopeful that we would still get the couch sometime soon. Then, last week my fiance received a call saying our couch would be delivered (finally!), and we only had to wait 13 weeks! Until we got a call today saying the couch will not be delivered until Next week b/c of the snow that NYC recently received (safety first, I'm ok with the reason for this prolonged shipment date). However, overall this has been the worst customer service I have ever received. I know a couch is not the biggest priority but we have been patient, and it's ok to be upset that I have yet to receive an item that was supposed to arrive 5-6 weeks ago, right? I'm tired of sitting on the floor, of not being able to sit comfortably in my new place with my fiance, of feeling like our apartment is not quite like home, yet. I am not asking for anything in return from this company, I just want my couch, and to move on with my life. BOTTOM LINE: Don't EVER use this furniture company!!! The owner is not approachable, and makes you feel like it's your fault for calling about problems with your order. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received.

    I was is Lowe's Henderson, NC on Black Friday in the early morning there were lots of customer…read moreservice people around, and as usual I had to go back at about 3:00 that afternoon. I was in the plumbing aisle looking for a connector for my tubing. I was there about 10 minutes and never saw a soul. I had help paged, long story short 2 of us in the aisle for over 30 minutes trying to find what we needed. I had help paged 4 times by 4 different associates, got no help. Finally got someone who had pity on me from another area to help. I went to customer service to see a manager, the poor girl paged him, called him on the walkie talkie, and called his desk no response, another person came and she asked if he had seen Mike and he called him on the radio and got an immediate response. He was on his way up, 20 minutes later he wanders up and I tell him what happened and he thanked me for my input. He was the most worthless manager I have ever seen, a customer complains and you thank them for input?
