As a Certified Natural Health Professional of 21 yrs, I needed to find a Functional Medicine ND -…read morefor my own issues that I've been having trouble solving. Fortunately, of the far too few choices in LV [as usual], I chose wisely. Dr. Angela is exactly what I'd hoped to find. She is everything you would want in a Dr., and a person, but so so difficult to find. When you meet for your first appt., the comfort level is already there. You seem like old friends having a chat, but trying to put together an important puzzle. You feel listened to, cared for; with a genuine interest and focus on how to solve what ails you. Dr. Angela is in no hurry, let's you talk freely and possesses that wealth of knowledge that you just know will help you get well asap. I am so relieved that my too often "sketchy" intuition was right on this time. Health is too important to mess up and waste time searching for the proper Health Professional to work with. You all know how hard that is. Health should always be Priority #1. I've done the search and gratefully found a high quality person who practices Natural Medicine. I don't mind saying that my own frustration w/trying and failing to find my own answers delayed my seeking out another qualified individual. My bad. Waiting has also delayed those answers from appearing. I don't feel good about that. I do feel good just knowing I now have a superb Dr. of Natural Medicine on my side who can assist me in achieving the goals I couldn't reach alone. It is my educated opinion and suggestion that your search for a highly qualified ND for you and your family ends right here with Dr. Angela Carlson.

I loved that she, as well as the staff, spoke to my daughter like a person. She listened to everything we had to say with no judgment just pure concern for my daughters wellbeing. Dr. Alex truly cares. Her office is beautiful and so is the staff. The greeting we got when we arrived was very warm and friendly, right away I knew it was going to be a great visit. And sitting in the front waiting area felt relaxing especially with all the lovely plants and water feature. Dr. Alex suggested lab/blood work for my daughter and explained everything thoroughly making sure all my questions were answered. I never felt rushed. She also gave us some nutrients to start us in the right direction until the test results come back. Your health and your family's health is everything. This is money very well spent, in fact, just to be heard made it priceless. Thank you Dr. Alex and staff. I'm looking forward to our follow up.

Without going into all of the details of my issues I will just say that after getting some sort of virus 2.5 years ago my life was flipped upside down. Most of my issues have revolved around nonstop varying levels of sensory distortions. Feeling a sense of movement when there is none, feeling improper weight/pressure being put on my body that doesn't match reality, "hot spots" on my skin that move around and don't match reality, tinnitus and auditory distortions, flashing and glitters in my vision or seeing things tilting when they're not, and so on. Basically all of my senses have been experiencing varying levels of distortion for TWO AND A HALF YEARS! That is a very very long time. Lately I've been getting more and more "normal" moments, minutes, hours, and days than I ever have since all of this started!!! I am not even able to properly express how much this means to my life and the level of gratitude that I feel for having met this doctor. If you are anyone you know are struggling with any health issues I seriously couldn't recommend him more (and this is coming from someone that has seen 25+ doctors from all different backgrounds from all over the country)!! Dr. Nikogosian practices functional medicine but he is also an MD (most functional doctors are not)!! This was the PERFECT blend for me and I am so grateful for everything he is doing to help me. He is by far one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met and he is very methodical and thorough in his approach. His critical thinking skills are also on point!!

When I got home I would lay on the couch for hours. I could feel my body slowly shutting down. I had figured out that it was gluten and grains that had done the damage (thanks to watching a recording of Ronda speaking from a conference about the symptoms) but while I had stopped most of the damage by removing them from my diet a few months previous, I didn't know how to actually help my body heal. I loved how confident Ronda was that she could help me when I had been feeling utterly powerless, especially after I had visited a doctor who agreed to test my iron levels and then just sent me home with no advice or help to offer. It took me about 6 months to really get on top of things. We went through each organ in my digestive system starting at the top and got things functioning again. It's insane the difference and it scares me to think where I'd be now if I hadn't seen Ronda. I believe I first saw her in 2013, and not only did she guide me through repairing my entire digestive system, she taught me simple criteria that still define how I choose to eat today. I am now 24 yrs old, have quit my job and run 4 businesses, and despite having an autoimmune condition I know I can trust my body not to fail me as long as I treat it well. I can show up and deliver for my clients on a regular basis and that's an incredible feeling!

From the first phone call I made to get my appointment I knew something was different! Marci was so kind and warm and helpful!! Dr ronda was funny pleasant real and INCREDIBLY knowledgable! She listens and really considers everything that's going on and how best to help you! She is not about a "bandaid" "quick fix" she's about getting you healthy and whole for the long haul! Mind body and spirit! She was very down to earth and compassionate without being enabling which is a super tricky balance she manages well! Her staff is so kind and truly goes out of their way for you! Even though I now do my appointments via telephone (because I'm out of state) I still feel like they are right there with my encouraging me and holding my hand through this! They speak from experience on many of the things I was dealing with as well as the treatments she prescribed! It's super encouraging to know someone's there cheering you on and that they have been there and have had victory! I can honestly say I'm already feeling better and noticing changes! Dr. Yoojin has truly been a lifesaver for me. I was going…read morethrough one of the most stressful periods of my life. The stress became so severe that my heart was racing uncontrollably. My primary doctor was concerned about a possible heart attack and sent me to the emergency room. Most of the stress seemed to affect the back of my neck and my head as well, causing severe muscle tension and constant headaches. After fainting twice, I was honestly terrified that something even more serious, like a stroke, might happen. I truly believe I was very fortunate to find this clinic during such a frightening time with my health. Because of these stress-related symptoms, I sought help from a cardiologist, a neurologist, and even a psychiatrist. I truly appreciated their care and efforts, but unfortunately, I did not experience much noticeable improvement. It wasn't until I started receiving acupuncture treatments here that I finally began to feel my body slowly recovering. My stressful situation has not gone away, so even with consistent treatment, I am not completely symptom-free. However, after receiving acupuncture treatments from Dr. Yoojin, I could actually feel the muscles in the back of my neck beginning to release. The muscles that had felt like solid rock gradually became softer, the pressure and tension around my neck and head eased, and my headaches became much more manageable. I still visit the clinic every two weeks, and my condition has improved so much compared with when I first came here. Looking back, it honestly scares me to think about how much worse I might be feeling today if I had never found this clinic. What makes Dr. Yoojin special is not only her excellent acupuncture skills; she also genuinely cares about her patients and supports them emotionally. Every time I visit, I leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more hopeful. I had been to several other acupuncture clinics before and had concerns about their cleanliness and hygiene. This clinic, however, is very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident receiving treatment here. Acupuncture may still be unfamiliar to many people in the United States, but if you are struggling with chronic muscle tension, neck pain, shoulder pain, stress-related symptoms, or nerve discomfort, I highly recommend giving this clinic a try. Thank you, Dr. Yoojin, from the bottom of my heart.

Breathing pure oxygen while in a Hyperbaric chamber is actually extremely dangerous. I had only a tiny buzzing problem when I came to Cory Ardizzone. He said "hit it hard!" He told me to do sessions twice a day. He couldn't possibly have given out worse advice. The compressed oxygen gets into your brain and can give you unbearable tinnitus for the rest of your life. There's no cure. Let me tell you how things work here. The oxygen delivery system here was always acting up. It would increase or decrease depending on tank pressure. One time during one of my sessions the delivery rate went up crazy high and it was blowing all over my face. Then it went all the way down to zero. When my session ended and the door opened I thought someone was going to apologize for all the malfunctions. Instead Cory appeared in front of the door and proceeded to lecture me for 5 minutes on how the whole debacle was actually my fault. He said he had turned it up to 40 and then turned it off because he didn't like the way I breath. It sounds unbelievable but that's Cory. You would think safety would be an important consideration here but not once did anyone ask me if I was experiencing ringing between sessions. In fact when it became obvious I was getting oxygen poisoning I came to Cory and explained my symptoms. He denied it and pushed back and told me it was impossible, claiming he'd never seen it before. That's Cory. You can't tell him anything. You could tell him what you had for breakfast yesterday and he would push back and argue with you. What kind of rating should a company get for destroying someone's life? It would seem like jail time would be more appropriate than a Yelp review. Don't let them ruin your life like they did mine.
