I was referred to my dentist to Endodontics & Associates in Trinity to have my tooth examined and possibly get a root canal. I am highly impressed by their front office (excellent customer service) and with Dr. Robin Nguyen. Root canals are not what I would call "joyous." It is actually a very stressful procedure for anyone but I was at ease and relaxed. I would not want to have another root canal done again but if I had to get it done I would go here. Charged me $220 to do absolutely nothing. I came in with a chipped molar, they gave me an ex-ray and said "yep, you have a chipped molar" then tried charging me over $2,000 to do a root canal which would've required a follow up visit for another $2,000. I said no, paid $220 for nothing, and left. That was after paying another dentist $100 just to refer me to this place without informing me what I was getting into. I'm just going to extract the tooth, this is ridiculous. Edit: I tried calling to get a refund of my money that I wasted here. A lady named Jessica refused to refund my money despite me being in a bad situation. She just referenced some paperwork and said they didn't have to because I signed it while in extreme pain, then threatened to shove the paperwork in my face. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE, they are greedy and unwilling to help people in need. Complete waste of time and money. The name of the person who refused to refund my money is Jessica Sandlin Baker. They set my daughter up for an evaluation that cost $300 and the Doctor subsequently told her she needed a root canal quickly. Two days later she called to schedule her root canal and she was told there was not an appointment for 6 weeks. No one that needs a root canal waits 6 weeks! When she asked if another doctor could do the procedure, she was told she would have to pay for another evaluation with another doctor. Insanity! How unprofessional. They scheduled her for an evaluation with a doctor that wasn't available? read more

There was no pain. I found it unprofessional that the dr and assistant had idle personal chit chat over my face both times during my root canal. Maybe it's a new protocol they're teaching drs. They both seemed very nice. The bill seemed R & C. read more

Jessica their insurance billing person is difficult, and down right nasty!! My insurance company advised me that the claim was filed incorrectly. BEWARE SCAM ... I was refereed here by my insurance for evaluation. I spoke with them on the phone in detail and made sure they understood what I needed when setting up my appointment. I was told UPFRONT that my first appointment would be $185.00. I was OK with that. When I got there, they of course took all of my info and copies and then I was cheerfully lead to an exam room and asked more questions. I was IN THE CHAIR ready to go. At that point the tech informed me that my upfront cost would now be $380.00. It was a classic bait and switch! I walked out. I may have been ok with it had they told me upfront. They really wasted my time. I needed this evaluation for other work I was having done ... set me back! read more

I had an infected tooth that was giving me excruciating pain and needed a root canal. Dr. Kasim fit me into his busy schedule. Once there his front desk staff very professional and knowledgeable. Once in the chair, his assistant Courtney gave me a play by play of what to expect. It was the easiest and smoothest procedure I've experienced. Do not go to this practice. Unfortunately , they have predatory practices that do not communicate risks and benefits of their treatment plans. Please be sure to read the fine print so you know up front of what they plan to charge you. Their dentist, Dr . Nguyen , and Jessica the billing specialist , Maritza and overall office was more interested on ensuring they were monetarily compensated. They disregarded the concept of do no harm to the patient and cost me triple in costs in paying for the dental work , pain in the mouth , and sleepless nights that was completely unnecessary. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr Korn was professional & along with her assistants made me feel at ease during my root canal. Dr Korn went out of her way to help me find a dentist as well. They even called me the day after the procedure to see how I was feeling. Beautiful office with helpful professional staff. I found this dentist through my insurance company after having a lot of pain in my mouth for 2 weeks. I had already seen my regular dentst and he told me that I needed to go to an endodontics specialist for a possible root canal. We were uncertain where the pain was coming from and figured it could have been coming from a couple of different teeth. ​After making an appointment I went in to get evaluated, and we figured out one of the teeth that was giving me trouble. But she stopped there and didn't continue to look for another problem tooth. By the time my next appointment came around to get it taken care of I had noticed pain coming from another area on the same side. I told them about this and ask them to check the other teeth to figure out what other tooth was giving me problems. But they ignored my request. In fact I asked a second and even third time and they still would not check it. They only did half of the root cana​l and then wanted me to come back the following week to finish. During that week I continue to have pain in my mouth that w​as not from the root canal. So when I returned for my next appointment to finish the root canal I ask ​them again to check for a bad tooth on that same side. What they told me was if I wanted them to check it I would have to pay for a new visit or go back to my dentist and have him send me back with another referral. If they would have checked it the very first ​time I asked like they should have done during the consultation visit, it would have been considered the same appointment and not needed a new one. My insurance company only pays for the first visit so the next time I would have to pay out of pocket. I feel like they were totally uncaring about me as their patient and only cared about money. They didn't care that I had to wait a week to get the consultation after suffering for two weeks, or that I had to wait another week after consultation to get the root canal taken care of and then another week to finish it or that I was still having pain. I was referred by my dentist to Endodontics Associates in Trinity to have a root canal. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work but from the minute I walked in their door I was greeted by their friendly staff which put me immediately at ease. Dr. Ami Patel did the root canal and she couldn't have been better at informing me of every step in the process. The coolest thing that they offer are these awesome glasses that allow you to view a movie while you get your dental work done. The Blindside put me at totally at ease. They filed everything with my insurance and all I had to do was pay my portion which is tremendously helpful when dealing with dental insurance. I have to go back for part 2 next week and I may not be completely fearless yet but at least I know I am in very good hands. I highly recommend them for your oral surgery needs. read more

I was referred to Endodontics Associates, for a consult on a root canal. Upon my arrival I informed the office that I wasn't wanting a root canal that I wanted a tooth extraction before the consult started. Again when the assistant sat me down to start the consult I said again that I wasn't wanting a root canal. she said she understood and continued with the consult. only at the end of the consult did they disclose that they do not do tooth extractions. I said well you wasted yours and my time. I told them I didn't think I should be charged with a consult for a service I wasn't interested. After some discussion the agreed and told me that they were sorry for the miscommunication and that they would not charge me for the consult. approx a week later I receive a bill from them for the consult. I have tried to work with both the trinity office and Jessica in the billing department in the clearwater office, to discuss that they have fraudulently charged my insurance company for a consult that I didn't want and that they didn't disclose that they didn't do the work I was looking for. they don't care that they lied to me about not charging me and did't seem bothered that they charged my insurance company anyways. I have never used these Drs before. But I needed a root canal and was referred here by my dentist. I have to say that the office staff was super nice. Dr Korn who did my root canal, was super amazing and professional. Her assistant was also very nice and explained everthing to me. I actaully was so relaxed and so well taken care of... that I fell asleep during my root canal. They are a great team... and Dr Korn is the best. read more
