Dr. Pokorny was very professional and informative about the procedure. The day of the surgery, the staff was very welcoming and professional. Dr. Pokorny came into the room and again reviewed the work that would be done. He had to draw some blood to pack the surgical site. His blood draw was better than most of the phlebotomists I have seen. Dr. Pokorny offered me the option to be under sedation, which I chose. Shortly after the blood draw, I was out. The surgery was done quickly. I went home and have had a quick recovery. Their office has prepared post-op instructions that are very detailed and informative to help with a speedy recovery. Dr. Pokorny followed up with a phone call later that evening to make sure everything was ok. He is a very reassuring and professional doctor. I highly recommend this office. I would not want to go anywhere else.

I had my initial consultation around a year ago just to see what needed to be done and how the process worked, and about 8 or 9 months later I called back to schedule my appointment and because of when I scheduled it, it hit right in the middle of coronavirus so it got pushed back for 5 additional months unfortunately. At this point they were causing me serious pain that I hadn't previously had so the wait was just getting worse day by day and they kept pushing it back. During my initial visit we went over the treatment plan, cost and everything associated with it so I should just have to schedule my appointment and be ready, but no... They require FULL payment up front on day of surgery which normally is fine BUT they require a predetermination from your insurance, they won't take your insurance and say they assume they'll pay this amount so you owe us $xx today, they need 30 days to call your insurance before your surgery to see what they will pay and then you pay your leftover payment on your day of surgery and in my initial visit they did a predetermination with my insurance but later on I found out it was only good for 30 days and they wouldn't do another one unless I came in for another exam before my surgery, so not only was my surgery pushed back 5 months they wanted me to wait another month for an exam then another month for the predetermination and probably another month for the next available appointment instead of just doing the predetermination in the beginning when I made the appointment 5 months ago they waited until a week before my surgery date to tell me this, and I had to have another exam because they said my last one was outdated and things can change in a year and while I don't doubt that, I got charged on my surgery bill for 2 exams that insurance doesn't cover and 2 x rays that insurance doesn't cover so it was just more out of pocket for me that wasn't due to my fault which is SUPER frustrating. I found Rochester OMS through other reviews and had an initial consultation with Dr. Sonpal and liked her, which is the only reason I kept dealing with this to get my surgery done. My dentist recommended I go elsewhere to get them out. My wisdom teeth were impacted and coming in side ways and my dentist said I needed them removed soon because the veins could start getting around the wisdom teeth and I could lose feeling in my jaw if I wait too long to pull them, the doctor said that was a little dramatic but accurate. My doctor was Dr. KATHRYN SONPAL and she was very nice. I spent little time with her but when she was with me she answered any questions or concerns I had and walked/talked me through the process. I'm a few days post-op now and I expected much worse, its just extremely sore with the pain medication and without the pain medication it is very uncomfortable. The surgery itself went quick and I was put under anesthetic. When I woke up I was in a lot of pain and they only had a Motrin 600 to give me which didn't really do much for me. They also gave me a free tropical smoothie coupon, or in other words a $2,500 tropical smoothie. I like the doctor and everything is healing nicely but I wouldn't recommend this practice particularly for them waiting until last minute to tell me I have to either pay the bill myself up front next week and deal with my insurance reimbursing me or wait another 30 days and pay for another x ray and exam out of pocket too. Not cool.

Finally pain-free! I…read morehad been in pain since I was 21 years old due to TMD (TMJ). The few specialists I could find at that time could do nothing more than open my bite a bit. I had given up looking for a solution until my previous dentist recommended Dr. Haddad. I am now chewing without pain for the first time in decades. The price was astronomical, ( I actually waited a year to get the financing together for the crowns and the nighttime appliances) but worth every penny. The offices are competently staffed, extremely clean and professionally run. Dr. Haddad was extremely helpful in keeping my stress levels down by prescribing me some meds before the work prepping the teeth was done. A special thank you to each member of his team. They are empathetic, understanding, and extremely skilled. My husband and I now use Rochester Advanced Dentistry for all our dental needs.

I now continue with the practice for maintenance, with the same impressions I've had all along. I can't recommend the practice highly enough for anyone, but especially for dentist-avoiding patients as you feel at ease and pain-free whatever the procedure-from expert cleaning, cavities, extractions, to bone graft and implants, etc. Also, clear instructions, careful follow-up, and availability for questions or the unexpected. I feel that all the team is exceptional in terms of skill, know-how, and professionalism while having a consistently friendly and caring approach to patients.

He began drilling root #1 and into the second hour the drill broke in my mouth. It took three weeks to order/repair the drill. My face was swollen for three weeks. Two hours into the next session after finally removing root #2, he stated I cannot finish because this is not the correct drill. You need to see an endodontic dentist. I scheduled an endodontic appointment at Endodontic Associates in Rochester Hills with Dr. Michael Glass. He cleaned up the mess left by Dr. DeWisha and stated the third root had already disintegrated. To me that meant that Dr. DeWisha could have finished this mess and saved me $1700. Dr. Glass was an excellent and far better dentist than Dr. DeWisha. If Dr. DeWisha claims in his bio he is experienced in Endodontics, then he should have known he was not using the correct drill. Seven hours to repair one #3 molar and insert a new crown is absurd. I warn anyone who is thinking about selecting Dr. DeWisha as their dentist to think twice. He does not have the skills or the correct demeanor when dealing with patients. At my last visit he was gutting the entire office which to me meant his prices would increase! I did not wish to pay for his renovation. The other curious thing I noticed is that his staff changes frequently. No one hired remains very long. By chance I discovered today that Dr. DeWisha also has an office on Main Street in Rochester Hills. How does he have the time to schedule dental appointments in two separate offices? I rated Dr. DeWisha a One. If given the opportunity, I would have rated him a ZERO!

There are no hidden fees, no nonsense. Full Review: After a lifetime of grinding and clenching my teeth, I was in real bad shape at the age of 40. I went from being outgoing, happy and confident to avoiding all socializing and feeling hopeless. On top of that, I was getting sick frequently because my immune system was constantly battling infections in my mouth. I didn't want to visit the dentist because I was so embarrassed by my teeth. I thought my only option was dentures, which I was not interested in because being a 40 year old with dentures would still be somewhat embarrassing for me, rightly or wrongly. I somehow discovered the existence of the All-on-4 permanent implant procedure and immediately started researching it. I decided I wanted zirconia implants because if you're going to do it, it would be foolish to try to save a few bucks by getting weaker and less visually appealing implants. My plan was to visit 3 or 4 different dentists, but the first one I went to was Dr. Kyle Polasek and I knew instantly because of his energy, passion, and experience that this is who I want to do the procedure. I should also point out that Dr. Kyle has a great team of ladies at this office. Morgan, Ashley, and Tiffany are amazing and made me feel even more confident that I was in the right place. I had the procedure done a month ago, on a Friday, and was back at work on Monday. I was expecting to be in pain for weeks but I had very little pain for just a few days. It's incredible. The best part is I'm already returning to my old self, even with just the temporary implants in. I didn't realize how much my poor teeth affected me mentally until now. Don't be like me and waste years of your life because you're embarrassed by your teeth. The was the best decision I've ever made. I will update this review when I get my permanent implants in, but for now I am 1000% happy.

After the first surgery last year, which resulted a complete success, no further infection happened. I needed that before my out of country travel which was a lifesaving for me. Dr. Orzech is confident. In my age and experience, when someone talks big or blow her own horn, I would pick it up. She is confident in her talk, in her advice, in her actions. This is what I sensed, and also my gut feeling told me. Not to mentioned that my wife said: it always takes a woman to fix a man's mistake. I sat on the patient chair with an extreme anxiety and worry about my tooth. The cause of that goes back over 20 years, and the latest experience with a wrong endodontist, She took that worry and anxiety, and turned it to a relaxation and comfort with her initial consultation, the surgery, and the end result. I am so grateful for what Dr. Orzech, she/her, done on my dental needs.
