Her receptionist said she would let me know before she billed me for lab charges, but continued to bill me for lab charges without ever letting me know the amounts ahead of time. Just the thought of going in for an appointment caused me so much anxiety. She likes to focus on what she likes to focus on and not what your actual issues are. It's incredibly difficult to get an appointment and when I asked for a prescription for the Covid shot because it was required by the pharmacy I was going to get the shot at, I was told that I didn't need one by her office even though I included a screenshot from the pharmacy website saying that it was required.

After years of infertility struggles I was referred to Dr. Naumes by a client of mine. I had done…read moreclomid, several IUIs, IVF and experienced a couple miscarriages. I had been with 2 of the top infertility clinics in north Dallas with zero explanation as to what issues I could be having. Within the first month of meeting with Kate she sat down and went over every single test result I had from my infertility clinic and explained how certain numbers were not optimal for conceiving and could be causing issues. She gave me KNOWLEDGE that I could not get from my clinic. Over the next 6 months she taught me how to treat my body and work on naturally fixing those numbers to get me where I needed to be. She even helped me discover I had an allergy to gluten and got me off all of my allergy meds that I had taken my entire life. I had honestly never been healthier. Within the year of the working with her we are now expecting our first baby (all natural) in just a few short days. I can't thank her enough for what she's done and I appreciate all of her honesty, knowledge and open mindedness throughout the process!

For the pricey $600 first visit fee, I was basically told to take magnesium and a bunch of other things. My problems, too, ended up being something I at least needed testing for before I was told to buy and begin taking a bunch of products. I almost felt more like I was being interviewed to be accepted for her services than listened to and understood at the first visit. Not a lot of questioning... or taking past traumas into consideration, in my opinion. I did feel very at ease with her masseuse and acupuncturist, and her office is very nice.

I got there @11:45 to fill out all necessary new patient paperwork and left @12:15 and she still wasn't there. Beyond frustrating, not a good experience.

None of this was stated at first communication, only when trying to schedule follow up. I'd have preferred to know this in deciding to go there in the first place. The front office person, April, is rude and defensive and takes no responsibility for lack of transparency about this instead blaming me for being frustrated. Customer service 101 is empathize, express basic understanding, deescalate. Her defensive customer service approach is the opposite: tell you she's worked there over 6 years (so?) tell you she "doesn't know Dr Higgins schedule one day to the next", tell you it's your fault for not knowing he's got 2 offices and travels, tells you you're rude for asking questions she doesn't like and hanging up on you because she can't manage her own reactivity. Dr Higgins is great and I liked him but due to his unavailability and April's personality issues and lack of customer service skills I'd suggest avoiding this office!
