Several complaints: 1. Before we moved in the hot water heater flooded the closet and bedroom closet floor. Had to have them air out the floor for a few days before we could move our things into the closet. 2. We were without hot water for three weeks as they kept resetting the hot water heater, but it would turn off within hours. It took 3 weeks to replace the water heater. My daughter took cold showers for that time period. 3. We had an ant problem and reported it and after nothing was done, I had to fix the problem myself even when we pay a pest control fee. 4. The complex advertises gated community however the gate is open 24 hours and there is no code. The back end of the property is open from the Target parking lot. False advertisement. This has been an issue as my daughter has reported several occasions of seeing dumpster divers on the property. Her friend was visiting and parked in the visitor section as policy states and had his car broken into. 5. We pay for covered parking and always park in designated spots. The one time she parked in front of her apartment, not in her spot for a few minutes while she loaded her car to leave out of town, knowing no one was using that spot at the moment, she almost gets towed. The towing company was willing to drop the car and waive the fee as she immediately was on site and had a parking sticker, however the apartment office staff was unwilling to help out and verify that she was legit. A little common courtesy and kindness is not too much to ask for. This complex does not care about the well-being and safety of its community, especially college students. read more

DO NOT get a place here. This apartment is unsafe, poorly maintained, and the personnel do NOT CARE about the residents. My son and nephew stayed here. During their stay someone tried to break into their apartment, one of their bikes got stolen, the apartment complex towed one of their cars which had the permit and was parked in their designated spot. They refused to reimburse me the $300 to get the car back. Then to add insult to injury they charged my son and separately charged my nephew for the same "damages" or "clean up" after they moved out. When they moved in the apartment was a dump and the AC could never keep up. We put in a better microwave and had a cleaning service clean the apartment weekly. When we left, we left it spotless. We "donated" the microwave to the unit in addition to one that was there. See photos. It was WAY better when we left than when they moved in. I'm hesitant to add these photos because it makes the dump that this apartment complex is look good. Even with this between my son and his cousin they charged $600 of BS stuff including mostly double charges. They threatened to damage credit if not immediately paid. This is absolutely NOT student living. If you are looking for a community of other college students and not families and older people look elsewhere. Good luck enjoying the pool with all of the screaming children at it and good luck enjoying your music without having to be worried about children (or complaining parents). ROACHES, FLOODING, BLACK MOLD, BREAK-INS, THEFT, and ACTIVELY DANGEROUS CONDITIONS (including but not limited to gunshots, collapsing car-ports, and maintenance staff that lets themselves into your unit at any time, for any reason, without notice). We had NUMEROUS instances of each of these issues. Please know that the sole reason I am writing this review is with the hope that it can save someone else from the year of unrelenting anxiety and depression that comes with living at the enclave. If you think I'm being dramatic, ask yourself how your mental health would be if you woke up from naps to roaches crawling all over you and your bed. Ask yourself, then, how it would feel to be at work, knowing that your apartment may very well be flooding for the fourth time that month, destroying your belongings, and flooding your bathroom with 4 inches of your neighbor's "#2" water. How would it feel to know that your home has been, and will continue to be, repeatedly broken into, and there's nothing you can do about it? How would you feel, sitting in your apartment, knowing that each breath you take has a significant negative impact on your physical health (black mold). How would you feel if you reported the mold problem to the enclave, and the staff's solution was to paint over it? (More mold grows on top of the paint, if you're wondering). How would you feel seeing your screens bent from people prying them off your windows to break in? I could go on about the enclave's inhumane business practices but I hope that this is enough to stop even just one person from ending up in the horrible position that I was once in. While the enclave is somewhat cheaper than other apartments, but I am telling you right now, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!! I am not exaggerating when I say that literally ANY other housing complex in college station is a better option. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

Lived here for 3 years and I'd say overall it was a good experience. Staff were always friendly and maintenance was quick to fix issues. It's in a great location with a bunch of shops/restaurants around and a bus stop across the street, so it's great for people without a car. I've been here for about two years now, here's what you need to know - Maintenance usually is pretty fast to respond to little problems if you input it in the resident portal. It took them a long time to fix my AC unit but at least they were able to provide me with a window unit. - The pool is gross. Over the summer it was full of bugs, I don't think anyone is maintaining the chemicals in the water. - If the apartment complex says they're gonna do something, they probably wont. We have been without water for the whole day, and the apartment complex said they would bring gallons of water to us but never fulfilled this promise. - Communication is poor. When they have problems with plumbing (frequently) they turn off our water for repairs without giving us any notice ahead of time. It sucks having to constantly work around these issues. I once put in a request to fix my dryer and they came to look at it while I was gone. When I got back, my dryer was working so I figured they were able to fix it and the maintenance request was "completed" on the resident portal app. The next day I came home and they had installed a new dryer, I was so confused but whatever. - Calling them is quite annoying. I get hung up on all the time when trying to call the office. If you follow the prompts on the phone when you call it will just boot you and not let you leave a message. Its easier to go down to the office to get anything done, but good luck because they randomly close sometimes without notice. The apartment itself is nice compared to the other apartments on Holleman, if you don't mind some classic landlord fixes like paint all over the door hinges and knobs. read more

I currently live here, and I have had a good experience so far. The staff is super friendly, paying rent is always easy with the system they have set up, the apartments are quaint but good for a college student's first time. There's tons of parking so you never have to park super far from your unit, and the amenities actually work most of the time unlike a lot of apartments in College Station. They also have a text messaging system set up for community updates which is convenient. Sometimes getting mail is challenging because I have no idea whether or not my package is at the front office, coming to my front door, or in the mailboxes at the front-that's not really their fault though, but constantly trying to look though my email to figure out what's going on does suck. Overall, great property, cool people, would definitely recommend! read more

Since we (my girlfriend and I) have moved in to the Enclave and even before that this place has been a complete nightmare!!!! First just arguing back and forth with them because we signed for a first floor apartment and they said they we didn't. Yet we had the documents and voice recordings saying otherwise. They also promised us they would have a dog park by move in which is the only we reason we signed( we have two medium sized dogs). It is now October and still no dog park and was told by Tyler the manger that they decided not to build it. We've also had to deal with one of the bedrooms in our apartment being flooded by a pipe in the ceiling. You would think after they ripped upped the carpet and let it dry for a few day they would send someone to fix it. YOU WOULD BE WRONG! It took not one but 3 days after the flood was discovered to get a plumber to stop the leak! And then another 4 days to send someone to redo the carpet and fix the whole. This place sucks, I was stollen a trash can and several parcels from my balcony and door. Residents do not pick there dog poops Every day is so bad. Roaches everywhere, I leased for 1 year, and that entire year I killed 10 roaches daily not kidding, pest went a couple of times, but it did not help super infestation, even with empty cabinets and clean areas. However Maintenance respond pretty good. I hope everything gets better for the rest of people. read more

Great property, a little on the older side, but the property company (Horizon Properties) really take care of the complex. Management is also really friendly and helpful - Austin, Maxwell, Natalie, and the manager Maria really do a great job in making sure their residents are happy and satisfied! It's a fun little community where you walk in the leasing office and they know you by name. As every apartment has its pros/cons, here is my list after living here for almost a year now: Pros: - HEB & other stores very close by - Bus route 27 picks you up & drops you off the the MSC - "Older", more family oriented tenants. - Internet is included. WiFi is really fast now a days (50 -60 Mbps during non peak times, and 10-20 Mbps during peak times) - Maintenance is really good & fast (ex My AC went out, I call around 11am, they come by 1pm the same day to check it out, fixed by 4 pm!) - Updated washer & dryer unit (at least in my apartment) - They have free coffee in the lobby & throw lots of events with free food! - Pet Friendly!! Cons: - AC unit is a bit dated, and as such utility rates are a bit high. - Kitchen is a bit small (in my 1bd / bath) Other items: - Utility bills average to $80-90 in the summer for me, and $65-80 in the other months - About 50% of the utility is actual electricity, the rest is Sewer, Water, and Trash - First floor is the only one that has hard wood floors - Second floor will get you the best wifi speeds as the routers are all on the second floor read more

There's a lot to cover here so I guess I'll start from the beginning. We went to check out these apartments in mid 2014. The staff was nice and the model unit was beautiful. We asked to see an actual unit but they said they didn't have any available at the time, which should've been a red flag. They said that there was a deal going on where there's no deposit if you sign a lease that day, so we did. As it turns out, that "deal" is something they do all the time-there never was a deposit. They told us we could definitely get into a unit earlier than standard move in date since our current lease would be up. That was false. About a month before move in we finally talked them into letting us see an actual unit and it was NOTHING like the model-it felt dirty and old, the carpet was a completely different type, as was the faux wood, and the tile was different in the showers too. Our actual unit was much the same. It felt old and dirty. The faux wood was placed poorly with gaps between every plank-making cleaning difficult and the carpet was old and musty. The mirror in the bathroom had mold going up it at the bottom and the screen door on our balcony was off and leaning against the rails. They told us the door would be fixed within a couple of days and that the mirror would be replaced in a couple of weeks-both took over a month to get fixed. This place was a maintenance nightmare the entire time we lived there. The A/C was constantly going out and we had to practically beg for them to replace the unit because having your A/C out in the middle of the summer in Texas is just unacceptable. The maintenance staff was rude and would even wear their dirty shoes inside, once even standing on one of my upholstered dining chairs without even asking. Leaks were a common issue and I had to ask for our shower head to be replaced not long after moving in because it was so dirty from years of build up that the water pressure was basically nonexistent. They would turn off the water at random times with no warning for hours at a time for maintenance. The hours at the office were all over the place so picking up a package was sometimes not possible at all. They charge more to live in an apartment facing the pool but don't fall for that. Even though our unit was not facing the pool, it was in a building next to it and the pool get so so loud in the summer. They'll throw these parties with DJs and music will be thumping all day long. The worst part about our experience with the Enclave was the bill that we received OVER A YEAR after we had moved out. This was quite a shock as we had already gotten an email stating that our resident account was closed with a remaining balance of $0. They claim to have sent a letter but it definitely never arrived and, reading other reviews, it's sounds like the same has happened to others. We were charged for things that were left in better condition than they were upon move in. I called and was told that some charges could be dropped and that I would get an updated bill in a couple of days. It never came. I called again and again and again getting nowhere. I gave up and called the company that owns the complex. They dropped all of the fees except for the ones that were out of their control but it was such a pain to deal with it all. I'm certain that this place doesn't charge a deposit so they can bill you much later for anything the can. Please save yourself the trouble and find a more honest complex to live it. One star for the location, though. That was great! read more

Wish I could give The Enclave 0 stars.... -The front office staff is the worst. They are extremely rude & don't know the first thing about customer service. -Don't even try roommate matching.. They don't look at the card. I have a cat & they tried matching me with someone with 2 big dogs, someone allergic to pet dander, etc. -They will charge you for anything & everything when you move out. Including utilities until your lease is up- even if you move out early, carpet, repaint, hole patching, etc. -They never change the bulbs in the tanning bed, even upon multiple requests. -Rent goes up every year, so don't think you have a locked in rent price.. -The apartments themselves look NOTHING like the models. Worn and very old looking inside. Appliances are loud and not efficient- A/C sucks & so do the dryers. The only good thing is the pool which you can still visit as a resident of any other apartment. read more

Moved here on short notice because of bad circumstances and should have never considered it. I was given a unit in filthy condition even though the staff guaranteed that it was clean. The walls in the kitchen were grease stained to the point where I was scrubbing paint off before the grease came off. My roommate did not clean their space and had trash lined along the walls in their room which of course led to a major bug problem. When I called the front office to tell them about the bugs, no one answered even after multiple calls. It took a few weeks to just get on the list for the exterminator which is even more of a red flag. Who needs a list for an exterminator? It does get worse though. The internet is extremely spotty and doesn't even work some days which is very strange for a "student living" apartment complex. Don't be fooled by the low rent cost because there are plenty of fees they add on to every month. I would expect a bill of about 650 a month instead of 559 if you would ever consider living here. If I could give a 0 out of 5 stars I would. This place should be condemned. read more

I lived here for a year. Thought it was a great deal at first and move in went pretty smoothly. But as the year went on, I just couldn't stand it anymore. Not to mention electricity bill was insane for just 2 people. I expect noisy neighbors in a college town and I expect to hear footsteps when you live below someone. However, the walls are paper thin. I could hear someone talking on the phone or watching a movie late at night while I was trying to study or sleep next door AND upstairs. I lived towards the back of the apartments (not close to the pool) and I've heard that someone's car got broken into. Where's the safety in this "gated" place? The gate isn't closed ever! I had mold growing in my bathroom from a water leakage upstairs and while I applaud the maintenance men for fixing it quickly often they had to come back 2x to get the job done. For instance, my shower head was broken..took them 2x to fix it and I'm still afraid a part will pop off. The door to the washer and dryer room is broken and almost fell on top of me...did they ever fix it? NO. I ended up getting my bf who used to be a maintenance guy to fix it in 5 minutes! Our fridge was leaking (though it's supposed to be brand new) and our whole kitchen floor covered in water. Dryer never dried until they had to replace it. Plus they aren't the nicest men. Don't even apologize for the inconvenience. Lastly, staff will make you feel mad. They are rude and stuck up. If you call them they act like you are bothering them when you have a legit question. There's this one guy who works there (Jeremy?) and he's the only nice one. I'm ready for my lease to be up. Don't move in here. Too expensive to put up with crap when I can move in somewhere decent for half the price. if i could give this place 0 stars i would. i was shown a model apartment that had been recently renovated and was told that mine would be updated too - so far from the truth. every wall had stains, my carpet was filthy, my balcony light was broken (still has never been fixed regardless of how many times i call maintenance) blinds were broken and never fixed and my washer flooded my WHOLE apartment the first day i used it. on top of that, the minute i lived here i had a HUGE roach infestation. i called maintenance everyday since August 2020 and had the exterminator out 5+ times and they never went away. i had to get my mother involved to call and leave voice messages (they have still never called us back in 3 months and never answer the phone) and i move out tomorrow and still not one word. the roach problem turned into a gnat and spider infestation as well, and it got so bad i was waking up with bugs in my bed and i moved in with my boyfriend 3 months ago and only came back to get clothes. this place is old as dirt and the apartment complex does not care. you will also never pay the amount you are promised, as they CHARGE a ridiculous amount for electricity, etc. read more

I have been living here for almost one year and I think it is really good compared to other apartments nearby. I used to live in Scandia and the apartment is really old and cannot get any sunshine from outdoors. Enclave has the best location for TAMU students as we can walk to HEB to buy daily needs, which is very convenient for us, especially for those who do not buy a car yet. Enclave is very quiet and all the facilities are very good, including the swimming pool, the gym, the printing room, the study room and also the locked gate. The living room is very big and we can chat with friends and watch TV and so on. I think living here is a good choice for me. read more

Had the worst experience here. DONT use the random roommate matching, they paired me with a psycho and then told me I had to pay a $500 transfer fee to move units due to THEM not knowing how to pair similar majors/interests/ect. After having to move all of my things into a third story apartment in a different building they still didn't offer me a couple days of extension to get my stuff out. Honestly didn't feel like they cared much at all. I know there's much better places to live in college station. Many of my friends had great experiences (even with random roommate matching) at other places such as the Woodlands, Campus Village, and the Cottages. *Note- A big part of the apartment experience is moving out. I'm a current resident so I can't really comment on how good or bad of an experience it is to move out... Overall: It's not a bad place to live. I look around every year and I can never seem to justify moving. Of course everyone's needs are different, but if you have a pet, want something new-ish, and can only spend about $500/mo on rent then you'll want to give this place a look! Pros: *The service has generally been good! I get prompt responses to service requests (although sometimes they don't truly "fix" the problem). *It is on the A&M bus route (27) which also goes to the mall. Also, you can walk to HEB and Hastings. Target and Old Navy are also within a reasonable walking distance. *Unit prices are competitive. Every year I check out other apartments, and they are either comparable or not really worth the money (e.g., they may be cheaper, but the unit is older). In either case, I haven't moved. *MY UNIT (the smallest 2 bedroom floor plan) is pretty nice. Faux hard word floors, soft carpet in the bedroom, black appliances... when I moved in, it all looked nice, new, and clean. The closet space might leave something to be desired. *The grounds are pretty clean... save for the pool area (see below) *The complex is pretty pet friendly. You can walk around the apartment or the readily accessible sidewalk that goes up and down Holleman. There are also a lot of stations with bags to pick up after your pet. Sometimes they run out of bags and sometimes some of the tenets do not pick up after their pets though... *The tenets are also generally pet friendly as many of them have pets too. I have run in to a few tenets that appear to be afraid of dogs (not their fault- but I feel bad for scaring them), but generally it's a welcoming environment for pets. Cons: *While I don't live near the pool, I often walk my dog around the area. It can be pretty noisy during the summer time. That's not necessarily a problem (people are usually pretty friendly) and it can be fun, but I could see the noise bothering some people. I would just ask for a unit away from the pool area if noise is a problem. *Similarly, there is a lot of noise from Holleman (cars, honking, people walking by). I don't mind the hum, but if you do, make sure to ask for a unit away from the street. *The pool isn't great. It sure looked nice in the pictures and on my tour though! There are often beer cans and drink cups floating in it. During the summer it smells like beer. Again, if you want to party down there, it may not be a problem, but don't expect to have a relaxing afternoon swimming laps. *The gym also leaves something to be desired. There's an okay amount of fitness equipment. If you want to do some weights or running (treadmill and elliptical) then it's fine (there's TVs and a stereo system). If you're a gym rat, it probably won't fit your needs. Also, it doesn't LOOK like the gym equipment is cleaned regularly (a lot of sweat on the equipment when I go) and the bathroom often doesn't have any soap or toilet paper. *The bus is great, but during peak hours (M-F mornings and late afternoons) it can be REALLY packed. Like.. standing room only and you still might have to wait for the next bus packed. You can make it work (I ended up getting a campus parking pass for $400) read more

I even spoke with the Marketing Manager, Austin, and he personally followed up with me right away and answered all of my questions. The location is close to campus, staff is always friendly and ready to help with anything you can think of, and community events are always fun and interactive. I recently signed up for my 3rd year of leasing here based on everything mentioned earlier plus their fair prices on rent compared to other complexes in College Station. read more

Do not risk it! The management makes or breaks an apartment complex. An old apartment with great managers and decent pricing will most often be a great experience. However, the Enclave is a nice apartment (minus the useless w/d and constant ant infestation) with awful awful awful management and above average pricing. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT HERE, your wallet will be milked for every dollar they can possibly charge you for. They've constantly loed and threatened us since we moved in and we can't wait to move out just so that we can stop being taken advantage of. It's really despicable the things that they have done. I lived at the enclave for a semester while taking classes as did my sister. At first the staff were very nice until about halfway into the lease. they started to raise my rent for an unknown reason, it jumped from about $600 to $650 (big difference for a 18 year old) and when I moved out they tried to charge me an extra $400 for pet damage...I never had a pet, my roommate (who also sucked(they matched us)) had a small cat that slept all day, yet the cat wasn't mine... that's just some problems I had personally. my sister on the other hand was called "stupid" by the leasing manager. my sister has had a 4.0 gpa at A&M for 3 years until it dropped to a 3.9. I believe the managers name is maria (don't quote me on the name) if you're looking for apartments in college station DO NOT choose the enclave. the appliances never worked in the apartment and when you put in a work order with the maintenance it takes them a solid 2 weeks before coming and fixing whatever it is that needs fixing. for example, in the showers there is a lever for cold or hot, mine was broken when I moved in, I told them about it, put in a request...they never fixed it. I had to use a pipe wrench to change the temperature in the shower. as well as the bad management of this community there is also a group of people that swim in the pool yet don't live in the complex. the office never did anything about this problem. The management was absolutely terrible. Like any apartment complex, we filled out a form on the day of move-in to put down any existing damages to be taken care of. Our door lock was broken and they said they wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of days because they were "listed by priority" throughout the complex. They ended up fixing it that night only because I told them I knew it was in violation of renters laws. The apartment flooded twice, which I knew was not in their control, but they left a de-humidifier on in my room for 1 full week each time when it was only supposed to be there for 2 days and I wasn't allowed to turn it off. Because of that, my room was incredibly hot, I had to sleep on the couch, and our electricity bill was through the roof. Another problem was a gross smell that kept coming through the vents repeatedly. We had maintenance come look at it multiple times. Even though they thought there might be a rotting animal in the walls, their solution was to put a piece of computer paper in one of the vents to "block the smell" because they didn't want to fix it. At move-out I took care of everything on the apartment's to-do list for moving out. I cleaned thoroughly because I have heard of people getting screwed by the apartment complex for not cleaning. I STILL got fees of $350 for not cleaning the oven, floors, windows, or bathroom (which I did). The only thing I miss about that apartment is the fact that it was across the street from the grocery store. That's it. read more

Do NOT trust them, do NOT listen to what they tell you because they are mostly likely lying to get you sign the lease. Make it your last choice and read the lease otherwise you will be in big trouble! I was promised an early move in. However, by the date of the move-in, they offered me a different plan!! The director asked me to wait for just ONE more day to get my assigned unit ready and for the following 5 days I had been lied too over and over. One time while I was waiting for the director, I heard them promising a future resident an early move-in if they sign now!!! So it was not a misunderstanding in my situation and they are trying to trap every resident!! Just remember No one can keep his/her word even the director herself. I had once a leaking toilet which they considered as an emergency maintenance, but it took them more than two days to get it fixed!!! , so that is the fastest expected maintenance you should have for any emergency !! read more

Communicating with management was timely and easy and I wish all front offices were as easy and helpful as they were.The location was great (next to HEB, Target, 1 - 5min walk to the bus stop), and the complex was maintained very well. The complex has AMPLE parking. All problems (of which there were few) would be solved by the staff or maintenance quickly. The units themselves are not grandiose, but the experience living here was just phenomenal for it's price! The only issues with living here we ever had were: some (what seemed like purposeful) misguiding language on signing and resigning bonuses; leases are for a year, but not to the exact day (i.e. move-in Aug 20th and move-out Aug 1st next year) causing your moving month to be essentially be a full months rent for only living there for 20 days. DO NOT let these inconveniences discourage you though! If you are pleasant and respectful to the front office, they will be willing to do everything they can to make living here a fantastic experience! Maria, Austin, and the others were always helpful. When our neighbor had a slight leak in their pipes, our carpet to one of our bedrooms got wet in a couple spots and felt scummy. We requested the carpet to be cleaned and Austin was happy to help! A carpet cleaning crew came within 2 days. As for all apartments, don't have 100% trust with the complex because they are a business. They want as much money as they can get, but if you give the respect that the staff deserve, they will return the favor! read more

The apartments them self are fine, other than the air conditioning being in the living room and being very loud. The washer and dryer are also extremely loud. While living there the management is not bad and tries to help you. The maintenance crew however is not very good and took 3 tries to fix my ice machine. My problem comes after moving out. I said the management is fine while you live there but once you move out they could not care less and WILL SCREW YOU OVER!! I lived here for 2 years and with this comes normal wear that I did not think was out of the ordinary at all. However a few weeks after moving out I received a bill for 640 dollars in cleaning fees. They decided to repaint the entire apartment due to "medium size holes" aka nail holes to hang up decorations. They also decided to replace the entire carpet in the apartment. The living room did have some dark marks due to shoes being worn but there were no stains that wouldn't come out from a cleaning, such as wine or any stain other than shoe marks. The carpet was also is perfect condition aka no tears or anything. I never wore shoes in my bedroom, so the carpet in my bedroom was basically the way it looked when i moved in. I'm sure they just decided to replace it as well since they were already replacing the living room. All in all the apartment had normal wear that you would expect from living for 2 years but I was charged 640 dollars. I DO NOT recommend living here unless you want to be screwed when you move out. this apartment complex sucks and here is why: - the supposedly 'high speed internet' that is free is terrible. it keeps disconnecting every two minutes. this just isn't my computer either. i got a new one and it does the same. my roommates computer does the same thing. if you want any type of better internet you have to pay for it. - the walls are paper thin. i can hear the people beside me talk, shut their doors and hear their washing machine. the people above me sound like they are dropping bowling balls around and jumping up and down. i talked to both neighbors and they each said they aren't doing anything unusual to cause the noise. - my washing machine is SO LOUD! it also bounces and squeaks. my dryer takes over two hours to dry clothes. i can also hear when each of my neighbors' washing machine bounces, so i know mine isn't just an anomaly. - the toilet overflowed the first time i flushed it, and i only went number one. - yes you get free cable, but there isn't a cable outlet in the living room, which is where i wanted the tv to go. -people don't clean up after their dogs. it's disgusting, and the apartment complex does absolutely nothing about it. - i have been out to try and relax in the hot tub at least 5 times and it isn't hot. feels like a lukewarm bath. - the gate closes at night but won't open up half the time.also from what i was told i thought the gate was going to be closed during the day. it isn't. - when i got here the first day, the key didn't even fit in my front door. i had to wait over an hour to have a new one made. - i was not allowed to receive a package that had my name on it because it was also addressed to my father, and they said they couldn't release it without him there. well guess what idiots! my father lives THREE HOURS AWAY! - it says that the office is open to 6 pm, but I have never seen anyone there after 5:30 pm or when i call after 5:30 pm. if you are going to leave at 5:30 pm then just put on the sign that the office closes at 5:30 pm. basically this place completely sucks for the price. i can't wait to get out of here in august to go live in a real house. it is definitely not worth the outrageous amount of money i am paying. my boyfriend lived at sausalito apartments on harvey rd. last year and paid way less for a way better apartment. this is the biggest let down of a place to live that i have ever experienced. living in the dorms on campus was less noisy and had better internet than this dump. my best advice is to find anywhere else to live. trust me you will be better off. read more

Management is a key aspect when looking at an apartment. They help you with everything. bad management is a nightmare. they will not help you out and will give you a hard time. They have a few sweet good looking girls that will do anything to get you to sign a contract. The one girl told me for a two bedroom it would be 60 each adv. for electricity total for room 409. I went to College Station utilities where the room was at low 130 a month and high 235!!! What a lie. Then there is the manager who is an angry old lad who has a grudge with people who ask questions and don't sign a contract first day. We where at one point promised a room 309 and given a contract to sign over that room. We found out later they gave that room away two days after that. How do you give a room away with an open contract. I went in two days ago to talk to her about a room for two, not on the first floor and not near the pool. She acted like I asked way to much and continued to say just get the application, and guarantee form in. After that we will give you a contract and we will place you where I want to. I said I am not signing a blank contract to which she said then go somewhere else. She was very rude and consistently told me people sign blank contracts all the time. She even yelled "find a better apartment then" at me as I left after I told her I was not signing a blank contract. Warning Parents and students looking here. I also looked at many reviews that show issues with this manager and her attitude. Look at the bad reviews not only the good ones. I warn against people signing here. read more
