The house is gorgeous and has many fine details, including exceptional woodwork. The living area and sun room are cozy spots to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. The rooms (5 total) each include a private bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding, as well. We had bacon, eggs, toast, and homefries. If you're going to the casino, as we were, it is only 2 miles down the road. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you're in the area. For me, I'll take a well-maintained, cozy 100-year-old home over a hotel room any day.

We were also glad we brought our own breakfast, as the continental breakfast was pretty sad- I'm sure most people could find something if you don't mind eating a bunch of prepackaged food...the only eggs they had were hardboiled. The best part? Depending on when you go, they offer two lift tickets from 3pm the day you arrive until 4:30pm the day of your departure. The room pretty much pays for itself with this deal.
