I have worked for many caterers and have never seen a property manager quite like Kim. She would not lift a finger to help anyone with anyone at all, and looked at everyone with the biggest sourpuss for hours. Walking by, you could hear her critiquing guests, and when asked where items were or for a helping hand with anything, she would scoff and act as though your mere presence was an inconvenience to her. Her chaperone-like presence was cold and uninviting for the duration of the ceremony and reception. And then during breakdown, instead of helping the process along, it was as if she was tapping her watch with irritation while all staff busted their humps in attempts to meet her requirement of breaking down within an hour of shutting down. Her judge mental, unkind nature was truly alarming to experience in the service industry. The space, on the other hand, was beautiful and well-kept, with sprawling grounds and comfortable accommodations.

Brides need to be warned that the customer service does not match the beauty of this venue. Jenifer (venue owner) was very rude to the families of the bride and groom. She insisted upon calling a special needs child the wrong name because "that was the name written on the paper." The child understandably did not respond to a name that wasn't their own. Jennifer insisted that the Bridal and Groom parties clean up their get ready spaces before they walked down the aisle. She locks up the spaces up for the night before the ceremony and does not allow the wedding party back into the get ready spaces to freshen up or store their personal items. Jennifer did poorly in keeping the event coordinated. She contributed extreme amount of stress to the bride and groom's families throughout the event. The bride and groom were rushed out the venue before they were ready to leave, and important reception traditions were overlooked in the rush of turning the people out. The bride, standing in the driveway, exclaimed, "wait, we haven't done the speeches yet!" Jenifer was "good enough " to let the do the speeches standing in the driveway. The space was contracted by the bride and groom until 9:00 PM, but Jennifer made sure that they were out of the barn and standing in the driveway at 6:30 PM. It was APPALLING to see a couple and their loved ones treated so poorly on such an important day. I have attended two weddings at this venue (August 2020 and June 2021) and both events were strained by the demeanor of Jenifer. Brides should consider alternative options to Timber Hitch Farm. Your loved ones will be kept on pins and needles by the management and will not be able to enjoy your special day.

They offer pastries and goodies all day for the guests in the fridge. You can ask them for nearby lunch /dinner recommendations and they have menus from local restaurants available. Make sure you remember your swim suits-there's a sauna and hot tub. We were disappointed to forget ours! They have sheep and llamas and you are even allowed to take a tour of the barn and watch the animals being fed-you just have to ask the front desk. Rooms are comfortable with stunning views and spacious bathrooms. The tv has many channels and you are allowed to use your own Netflix/Hulu/Disney Plus account. We were not disappointed with our stay and we look forward to coming back.
