Nice selection. I think their prices were too high. They had in city prices. I collect old photos from the past. They wanted $10.00 for a single photo when it should have been $5.00 or less. Coolest find is someone was selling Roy Roger's & Trigger comic books for $11.00 each. read more

We visited this store for the very first time and we were blown away by the amazing selection of quality items. The people working there provided excellent service and would periodically offer to take items up to the counter for us while we continued to shop. Whenever any of the people working interacted with my husband and I there were very kind and helpful. We always were met with a smile when asking questions or when conversing. The pricing is very fair as well. This isn't a jameport antique store where they upsell or anything like that. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely look forward to going back! read more

N I C E I N V E N T O R Y But that's where the good part ends. The 2 folks working here were unbelievably rude and unfriendly. The sad thing was, I don't think they were even aware they had an unfriendly attitude. I felt like the lady was breathing down my neck, and kept asking if she could help me find anything. I finally tried to find my way out of the maze without even seeing everything, because I don't like being treated like that. I am NOT a criminal, and won't be treated as such! I don't care what has happen there in the past, but they need to treat customers with MONEY better than that. I took the 1 item I selected up to the counter, paid and left. Sadly for them, I saw 3 pieces of furniture I was very interested in. I was in my car, so I certainly wasn't purchasing them today, but I really really was interested in them. Enough to consider borrowing a truck and returning, from Minnesota! Screw that idea. BE PREPARED FOR JERKS read more

A must stop for us when we head South out of the Des Moines IA metro on our way to Kansas City or Branson MO. If antiques, collectable, and collectibles are your thing make sure you put this stop on your list. Everything from furniture to smalls... The Enchanted Frog's inventory encompasses a little of everything. A well laid out maze of booths and cases. If you can't find something here to take home you didn't look hard enough! read more

Great antique store, clean, organized, friendly staff. We were traveling through and had a good time browsing through the store. I highly recommend stopping in. read more

Large shop. It was clean and easy to navigate. Prices in most booths were reasonable. Staff were helpful and friendly.

We saw the billboard and decided to stop and visit the Enchanted Frog Antiques. So glad we did! Lovely ladies greet you as you enter and welcome you to their excellently laid out store. Very clean and easy to walk through. Prices are clearly marked, reasonable and you may even find a great bargain. They also have very clean restrooms for traveling customers. We will definetly add it as one of our regular stops on our treck from Texas to MN. read more

Packed with lots of fun things to look at. I spent 3 hours leisurely browsing one Sunday afternoon. The folks at the front checkout were friendly. read more

Customer Service greatly lacking, Blonde lady employee just plain Rude, and Older Lady Employee Overly Paranoid. When you first enter, employee ladies demand that you have no belongings with you not even your purse! They let you know you have to go back to your car and lock your purse up there. How do they expect anyone to buy anything?! What a Hassle! Next the blonde lady immediately tells you they close in less than 30 minutes and says abruptly to you, "You're really going to have to look at things fast and hustle!" Wow! They really don't want to sell anything. Next you're followed around or showed around, however you want to look at it. And then you ask the older lady as you're escorted around the place, "Do you have any gold jewelry?" And are told, "No, every time we get gold jewelry in within 2 days of getting it, we get broken into over night and it's stolen." Hence the paranoia of not letting you bring your purse inside. To me, truly this sounds like an inside job. More than likely the blonde lady, that's overly zealous in counting all the money way before closing, and wants you out is telling her son or relative that they have something valuable in and to come and get it. Cause seriously, Who would come out to the middle of nowhere and know exactly each time this antique shop got a little bit of gold jewelry in to steal it? Common Sense says, "You're employees are stealing from you! Lastly, to all the vendors out there: I would be highly concerned in ever selling my stuff with this antique shop, "Enchanted Frog", because of two things First, the employees scare away and intimidate buyers by their no purse rule, following you around the shop, and rude attitude of wanting you out fast. Second, if there is stealing going on, especially with employees that work there, you cannot trust that your stuff is safe. Finally, I feel sorry for whoever the owner is because I'm sure she is getting vendor rent money syphoned off her bit by bit by whomever is in charge of counting it and sadly she may not even realize it. read more

What a GREAT find! I ran across this place by accident through a posting they had on a social media outlet. I have spent hours antiquing at many places over the past couple of years. I find this place organized, clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Items tend to be priced reasonably when compared to the other shops I have visited. I'll definitely be keeping this antique mall in my rotation of shopping. read more

Very friendly staff. I like how they have lockers for my purse so I did not have to keep it in my car. They are taking great Covid precautions. Ended up with 5 to 6 great vintage finds, including a set of four excellent walnut bowls for $8! Great place for Pyrex and jadite. read more

Lots of amazing antique and collectibles! Found an eyewash cup and miniature rugs! Friend found two pitchers in her China pattern!

This is just a great antique store. They have lots of real antiques at decent prices. The staff is very friendly and all the booths were organized just splendidly. We plan on stopping by here every time that we are in the area and you should to. read more

FRONT COUNTER SCREAMS AT YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR We walked in. Woman at the front counter barked at me to lock my backpack up . She never said hello or welcome. After I locked up my backpack, we were followed around the entire antique shop by the vendors that work there. They treat customers like everyone is a thief. Don't waste your gas, money or time driving there. Not worth it! read more

Love this place! Do beautiful and clean! Mrs. Rooney and Joyce are total sweethearts!

We stopped in the Enchanted frog ! We Will never go back ! The owner is rude ...poor customer service ! It's amazing and we are antique collectors and buy and sell . Mark this one off your list ! High prices bad attitude and the lust goes on . Never again ! read more

This little stop just off i35 at exit 40,twenty miles north of Liberty was a nice surprise. Seemingly small from the outside, the interior opens up and has quite a large space of booths. Wide variety of collectibles on hand. Plan on at least an hour to browse the whole store. Would make a nice afternoon drive for an out-of-the-city get away. Gas station and cafe next door, but otherwise sits alone. read more

My friend and I have visited the Frog 2-3 times per year since shortly after you opened. Without fail, we walked out a a treasure or two or three, spending $100-$300 each visit. The inventory was great and the prices very competitive. However, our visit last week badly soured the milk. The few really good items were priced at least 50% above expected retail and few were of interest at all. In their place were hundreds of knick-knacks typically found at garage sales, only priced as though they were museum pieces. Our total purchases consisted of $1.00 for a candy bar. While there for a hour, we were the only customers to drop by. Yours was a favorite spot, even considering the 3 1/2 hour round trip drive. Sadly, I cannot imagine a return. I do wish you the best but worry that you can survive with your new approach to "antiquing". Dick Walker read more

The customer service was a bit lacking, but not terrible. I had fun looking around. It's a decent antique mall and prices are average for the area. I have to defend the place from Addison F's review. I don't know her, but she wrote that the Enchanted Frog "does not stand behind their products". Antiques are not "products". Go shop at Nordstrom if you want someone who stands behind their "products". Also, Addison, you can't expect the staff of an antique mall to know every detail about every item in every booth. It's simply impossible. Addison was clearly out of her element. read more

This is a great place for the person who loves to go antiquing! Lots of merchandise! Almost too big for me but most will love!

Huge selection and great people! Have drove past this store for years and finally decided to stop. We were not disappointed! There are isles upon isles, booths upon booths of items big and small. I saw on here some people complaining about their purse/bag policy...it is clearly posted when you walk in and the employees were very nice in explaining why they require you to leave your purse in either your car or a locked locker. Small businesses can't survive if the are constantly robbed blind so it's a small compromise to make so that they feel secure and you have the freedom to browse. read more

Very nice place. The staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of neat treasures. Everyone wore masks

The enchanted frog used to be something I looked forward to when visiting the area, but their policy on purses has my wife and I turning our backs on this once fine establishment. Attempting to force customers to keep their purses in lockers or in their vehicles tells me you don't want my wife's money in the store. And if she and her purse are not welcome, my money is not staying in your till. This policy may be grounded in recent events, but punishing customers only increases security by decreasing cash flow. Avoid this place and take your money somewhere you are appreciated. Reviews about rude staff are completely accurate as well. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Very unprofessional, do not stand by their products, and are EXTREMELY, almost ridiculously over-priced. Very rude, standoffish and unfriendly sales staff/vendors who know literally nothing about the product they sell. Some items have sat unsold for so long that it is impossible to tell prices from how faded the tags are. This place shouldn't call themselves an antique store, but rather a museum exhibiting total junk. Not worth the trip and ABSOLUTELY not worth purchasing from. I don't know how Enchanted Frog stays in business. Deplorable and absolutely terrible on all accounts. read more

If you could give a negative stars I would. My husband and I went in just to look around. And we were not in there even 5 mins and some lady that works there told me I couldn't carry my small over the shoulder purse around the store and I had to leave it at the counter with people who I did not know or take it back out to my car. Sorry but thought it was a little rude and tasteless to confront people and tell them they can't carry a purse. Would NOT recommend going here read more

We love this place. It is not real big but there's lots to browse. All the items in here for the most part ARE antiques. My wife gets blue willow from here from time to time. read more

Interesting place. Lots of good stuff. Shopping policies and rules are posted on the front door.

Dont waste your time here...hubby and I are retired and had been traveling in our fifth wheel..those of you that Rv Know sometimes it's hard getting in and out of small areas..after moovering into the parking lot was a real effort (and hubby really not wanting to stop). I made it inside only to be stopped and told to lock up my purse..I only have a small bag, nothing large, no backpack, no large never full bag, just a small crossbody. I refused and left the store..not worth my wasted time.. look folks I'm a vendor myself and yes we lockup large bags or backpacks, but a small bag you can hardly get a wallet in!!! Let's get real. Wont EVER go back to the enchanted frog and hope others wont go either!! P.S. I'm usually a big spender. Lol, just saying, you lost my money! Everyone is not a thief and maybe if some of the so called workers were walking the floor your theft probably would go away... read more

Great selection of lower and higher end antiques - something for everyone. Tons of items to choose from for that hard-to-buy-for friend or relative. The layout is nice and the booths are not cluttered. Many antique stores request you leave your purse/bag in your vehicle or put it in a locker - it reduces theft (which keeps prices down) and prevents you from accidentally knocking it into something and breaking it (which you then have to purchase the damaged item). If you use the lockers, you have the key so for someone to suggest they are going through your personal things is ridiculous. I enjoy shopping here and recommend it to anyone who enjoys antiques. read more

Used to live to stop here. I carry the worlds smallest purse which they made me put in a locker when I entered the store. How do I know they're not going thru my purse while I'm shopping?!?!?! I won't be back. Ever. read more

We are never disappointed here, and always leave with several items. We find the staff professional, and the dealers responsible as to keeping an antique store stocked with antiques, and true vintage items. It's a little out of our way, but always worth the effort read more

Unprofessional and over priced! I had a terrible experience here today! I found a dusting brush here. There was no price tag on it. I explained to a very nice lady with reddish hair that I had been looking for this item for weeks for my son. I also explained that I lived three hours away. I asked her to call the owner of the brush and inquire about a price. The owner was unsure of a price so I offered her $10. The owner on the phone agreed to the price and the lady with reddish hair began to complete the transaction. A lady with white/silver hair looked at me as if I were trash trying to rip someone off!! She took the phone and walked away as she talked to the owner. The lady came back and said we are not going to sell this to you because the owner is not sure which item we are talking about! The lady with reddish hair inquired if the owner was aware of what I was buying the brush for. The white/silver haired lady was rude and again looked at me as if I were beneath her. I was humiliated by the assumptions that were made of me and my son was disappointed, we left the store without our brush :( I looked the brush up and found out that it was being sold on Ebay for $15! I was not off by much on my offer. I encourage others to pass this place by and check out some of the other antique shops down the road! read more
