Clientele consists mostly (not exclusively) of office workers. Service is super friendly. The food is quite good. Not memorable maybe but my soy-lentil salad really was excellent. The penne and farofa also were great. My tilapia had been on the hot plate a bit too long but the dressing was tasty. Prices are 1.5-2 times higher than a simple buffet, but obviously you pay for what you get. Healthy quality lunch in a modern and inviting setting. Very nice to see a place like this in BH.

The menu was quite complete with drinks, appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pastas. We tried a few specials of the day. Suco do dia 2was an orange juice mixed with caju. The cafe of the day was a cherry roast which was very tasty and properly served with a tiny stick of chocolate and a spritzer chaser. The beer of the day was from KÜD, a local brewery, a tangerine ale which was awesome. For food, the Moroccan couscous salad with chicken pieces covers in mint yogurt dressing was pretty tasty. The burger came smothered in American cheese and had a huge helping of unsalted fries on the side. It wasn't too remarkable but fine. Service was prompt and friendly. Definitely a great place to meet a friend for lunch. There's live music on certain days, just check the museum schedule online.

The place itself is cozy, with sidewalk seating and inside open air seating, as well as a small high bar counter. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We were impressed with the options on the menu. We started with a pão de queijo do dia appetizer that came with a creamy soft cheese and an espresso butter which was very unique and incredible. They rotate pão flavors but you can buy frozen ones to take home and try them all. They have a good selection of craft beers and cafes. I had to try the cafe milkshake with was delicious and filling. They also sell the coffee beans for home use as well. For food we tried the burger and the chicken sandwich. They come with an option of a salad, cubes of fried polenta. We tried the polenta which was a good size accompaniment but the fresh salads looked delicious too. The burger was delicious but the chicken sandwich was a little too much. It was topped with pesto and smothered in cheese but a little too rubbery and salty. I didn't have room for dessert but they have pão de queijo filled with doce de leite or goiabada. Definitely worth checking out!

I was not that hungry that day but still managed to finish the whole plate while marveling that this entree was fantastic. I ordered the dish that they have based their restaurant's name upon - L'Entrecôte (steak) and opted for pasta instead of the traditional steak frites. My friend got the steak frites and ordered more later (I tasted one and it tasted great - crispy thin and lightly salted). My steak was medium and was absolute perfection. The pasta that accompanied it was even better - garlicy and buttery fettuccine - so simple yet delicious. Our entree came after the main salad which is simple and hearty; Greens, cherry tomatoes and walnuts topped with a dressing of yogurt consistency. The dressing is kind of genius because it works so well with the simple salad. I did not have room but dessert but promised myself that I would return. So I came back a day before my departure from Belo Horizonte and ordered the same dish accompanied with the special sauce on the side of coarse. My server was delightful and conversed with me in English. The dish tasted even better today because I came hungry. You have to come to this gem of a restaurant and get their steak with pasta/frites (I recommend the lovely pasta) and save room for the absolutely delectable and airy chocolate mousse for dessert.
