Before I worked with Alex I was consistently having power struggles with my teenage daughter during which I would feel alternatively aggressively angry or completely powerless. I will admit, I started my journey with Kim with a little bit of skepticism. It wasn't until after my first session, that I quickly realized the beautiful gift that she carries. The gift of light that she beams to all those around her is what she shares so that we can in turn also find our inner light and beam outwards to the world. Kim and I spoke for approximately 90-mins during my first session. I remember entering the Zoom conversation with my walls up and not being very optimistic about the process. Kim and I spoke about a variety of topics to get better acquainted and the session ended with a sound bowl meditation. To my surprise, I left our first conversation feeling rejuvenated and hopeful. I also felt lighter, as if some weight was lifted off my shoulders. Before we hung up the Zoom video call, Kim reminded me that all sessions are recorded and made available for her clients to re-watch. She suggested I take some time to re-watch my first session so that I can compare my aura at the beginning of the session to the end. I didn't understand what she meant until I re-watched the recording. Indeed, in an hour and twenty minutes time, I went from a negative and gloomy state to a bright and vibrant one. My conscious willingness to open my mind to change, and to have some faith in the process, was all it took to see and feel a shift. Kim makes it very clear that results cannot take place without self-realization and a personal commitment for continued improvement. One must first recognize the ego and chip away at it so that it no longer occupies the leading role. Heart healing is a process and it is with time that the process will render life changing results. Matthew made the time to listen to my issue patiently and conscientiously before determining that I would be better served by talking to another professional he is familiar with in the field.
