I had (2) witness subpoenas served by The Opal Group here in New York City. They were incredibly…read moreprofessional, documented everything, and had excellent communication every step of the way -- from intake and understanding the project, to updates on service attempts, and calls to align on service or approval from you to serve at a specific time and day. One of the subpoenas was for a NYPD police officer at their precinct, and despite the officers behind the desk being less than friendly, the process server remained professional and carried out the job. The cost for their services was also an excellent value. I highly recommend them, and would definitely hire them again.

All I wanted was some information regarding serving divorce papers to my husband in France. I was told by the individual who answered the phone that we only speak to attorneys. Not only was I insulted, but I thought it was ignorant for a person to blatantly discriminate over the phone. That's why I immediately went on yelp to give them a horrible review. I truly believe if Joel Graber were able to have heard this interaction, it would have turned out differently!!!

I am relatively new to the local rules of court in New York. Everything that the firm predicted would happen went accordingly, and I received a slam-dunk result. There are moments that change the course of a story, and consulting Himmelstein, Gribbon & Joseph…read morewas mine. I'll admit it -- I walked in hesitant and unsure if any attorney could really turn things around for me. And I'll be honest, upon my first consultation with attorney, Milad Momeni, I was skeptical. This despite his quiet confidence and assurance that I would be in good hands. Then one hour in the courtroom flipped everything. Not only had I underestimated Milad's abilities, but he pretty much left everyone else in the dust. Sharp, relentless, three steps ahead of everyone in the room. After just one hour sitting next to him in the courtroom, I was flush with gratitude that he was on my side. Later that same day, I sent him a much deserved apology for ever doubting him (I literally said those exact words). Milad doesn't just practice law. He fights for the people he represents like their case is the only one that matters. To say that he earned my trust completely would be an understatement. And after everything I went through, I can say without hesitation: hiring Milad to represent me was one of the best decisions I've ever made. If you find yourself facing a battle you're not sure you can win, Milad Momeni is the attorney you want beside you. He was the turning point in mine and I am eternally grateful.

Samuel Himmelstein personally referred me to an attorney who, in my experience, provided little to…read moreno substantive work on my case while charging me thousands of dollars. The result was essentially the worst possible outcome: the same outcome I would have faced had I done nothing at all. That is certainly not what you expect when you hire an attorney. Ultimately, I filed a formal grievance against her. Following that, Samuel Himmelstein contacted my office regarding the grievance. He spoke to my boss and there may have been other people on the call. I found this highly unprofessional and was uncomfortable with the circumstances. From my perspective, the contact felt like an attempt to exert informal pressure on me in connection with the grievance, which I found inappropriate.
