His tutelage and personalized, hands-on coaching were priceless. He introduced me to new methodologies that enabled me to position myself as the "best and most qualified" candidate while guiding me through every step of the recruitment and interview process. Their service enabled me to "scale" my outreach to hiring managers and recruiters in a way that enabled me to connect with exponentially more decision makers than if I went at it alone. I would recommend this service to any executive looking for a new opportunity. The job-search landscape has drastically changed, and you need someone as knowledgeable and sophisticated as Rhett to help guide you through the unchartered waters.

Complicit in Lead Generation Scams…read more Notus Human Capital (http://www.getnotus.org/) presents itself as a legitimate career services company, but my experience suggests otherwise. After applying for what I now believe was a fake job on Permantech.com, I received a rejection email that copied Notus Human Capital without my consent. The email directed me to contact a Notus representative who offered to "help" me access "unadvertised" job opportunities. This happened to me twice--once in 2016 and again in 2024. Both emails were identical, word-for-word. Despite Notus's public claims of ethical practices and discouraging the sharing of personal information without consent, they continue to accept (and likely pay for) leads generated from scams like those run by Permantech.com. Notus reached out to me, offering their services despite obtaining my contact information without permission. This pattern shows they are not just turning a blind eye but are complicit in these unethical practices. Be cautious if you're contacted by Notus Human Capital, as their involvement with companies running fake job postings raises serious questions about their legitimacy. They will claim to be innocent, as they did in a lengthy reply when another reviewer shared a similar experience; however, given two, nearly identical experiences separated over 8 years I do not believe they are truthful. If they were, they would discourage / not accept such assistance from Permantech.com or others.

When I got to my appointment, I prepared everything down to the minimum detail for Mr. Thomas, as instructed by him last year when we first met. He clearly mentioned last year to be very specific about details for my tax return, given the complexity. Last year, he gave me the impression of being a nice and kind person, who was really happy to help. I provided my package to the front desk lady, with the recommendation not to disrupt the order when making copies. When I entered the office, my package was in a mess, and I had to explain where the essential stuff was. I had made all calculations for Mr. Thomas, he just had to plug in the numbers, and I had preserved all related activities and receipts to my 1099s to facilitate any further reading, if required. The individual literally exploded at a certain point with the above words, and kicked me out. It's funny that I was filing for a large income, and this guy just literally said it was too much work. I would have been happy to pay a great fee for his work, but he decided to show me the door instead. Well done Mr. Thomas! I'll put out great words about this place...

How do I even start? Back in September I hired Camilla's services to clean up my books for 2022…read more After looking at my QuickBooks she suggested that starting from scratch would be the most cost effective strategy instead of trying to fix the old account. She quoted us roughly $1,100 to accomplish that. In the months that followed we got invoiced over 3 times that amount and when asked how much longer it would take and how much it would cost, I was told another $1,800-$2,000. So $1,100 became $5,400! She was always behind and I could never understand her system because she wasn't going in order. The way she was imputing everything didn't make sense. Her attitude every time she talked to us was very unprofessional. She just send an email canceling our contract last week (honestly I'm not upset about that, that's actually a great thing). But after giving me a deadline to pay my balance of $1,600 (again, my books for 2022 are still not done), I asked for a report of what has been completed and she simply will not answer me. Now I have to scramble to find someone to make some sense out of what she did with my books and finish it less than one month before I'm supposed to be filing my taxes. I feel she only cares about the money and not about her clients, otherwise she would at least answer my message and emails to let me know how far she got with 2022 and what's missing. She also claimed to me that January through April was done, however she did not upload any pictures of receipts or checks. BEWARE
