Wow, where do I begin , to start off do NOT go to this unprofessional, hassbeen Gary Sallaway. His…read morearrogance feeds his ego that makes him think he's the best... . Do NOT sign ANYTHING they put in front of you without reading it completely. The receipt of services states on it that there's a 50% non-refundable fee, period. ... In 2023 I was attacked by a junkie when he tried to rob me for my ebike. As a result, I had to have 2 brain surgeries and I'm not allowed to work anymore.... My denture was damaged in the attack and it took me forever, till June of 2025, to come up with the funds, almost $3000, and the CDCP covered the rest. I had Gary Sallaway realign my old bottom denture about 10 years ago. He did a great job on that so, naturally, I went to him for a full set replacement. Now, the entire process of JUST getting the molding/fitting took almost 4 months to complete.... A ridiculous amount of time. When they were finally "ready for pick up", the first thing I said about the fit was that they way too big and the bottom plate was over too far to the left, by a lot.... .... My concern wasn't even considered... So for the next 5.5 months I had to go back, I honestly lost count, so many times, I was repeatedly going in, sometimes twice a week to get them "fixed"... Sooo many mouth sores caused by bad mis-alignment. Also the bad headaches as the top plate was forcing the bottom one to move a dramatic amount. He would constantly blame the issue on me.... "your mouth is like an old shoe and it needs to refit to the plates...." --SERIOUSLY! "oh you've got bone chunks coming out" Which I did have, caused by a shitty fit.... "you're not rinsing enough with warm salt water" 4 to 5 times a day isn't enough? oh, and the best one, "if we're closed for the holidays and you need to adjust it, just go ahead and use a small piece of sandpaper" DON'T trust anything they say.... They will use that "adjustment" statement to get out of warranty.... So, I ended up going to another denturist out of town, at a cost of almost $1500 to have the set that Gary made adjusted properly. Oh yeah, Gary did offer to relign the set he made but I outright refused. I have ZERO confidence in this man's ability to provide quality product and professional service. So now I have no hope of ever seeing a dime back from this prick or warranty because I had someone else fix them properly. I contacted him about returning this set BEFORE going to get them fixed PROPERLY. He called me back and told me that he would refund the CDCP portion to the CDCP which is fine, but, he was going to hold MY half of the money as a, 50%, non-refundable deposit fee..... When I got upset... I Didn't swear, yell anything like that, he actually hung up on me.... Seriously, yes, that's right, this unprofessional ass clown literally took my money, knowing how hard it was for me to come up with it in the first place...and hung up I me.... After he made $6,000 off of me.... I'm on disability, I used to provide for my family and now I'm relegated to be a house mouse with a faberge egg for a head.... I just wanted to be able to eat a meal, I've lost 25lbs since I've had these new teeth from Gary. I was only able to eat once a day, then had to take them out because they hurt my mouth so much.... I'm literally starting to cry as I type this it's been sooooo stressful..... I expected a well fitting set and service that has, some kind of empathy.... As far as I'm concerned, once these people have your money, cares about patient comfort and a quality product go right out the window.... I SHOULD be taking this incompetent ass clown to court, not just for the money refund but for pain and suffering for the last 5 months... DO NOT TRUST KAMLOOPS DENTURE AND IMPLANT CENTER WITH YOUR MONEY. OR YOUR HEALTH.

My first visit there they did an exam and made no mention of expensive items that my last dentist had told me were urgent and needed immediate action, such as a crown that they said had a cavity under it. The dentist at ADA had a good look when I told him, both by physical inspection and by X-rays, and said the crown was fine. At some point, dental offices started putting tv's in the ceiling which has always really bothered me as someone who appreciates the opportunity to simply lie there and zone out or, gasp, interact with the hygienist as another person. The dental hygiene appointment I went to had no tv. I appreciated that a lot. And the hygienist was really personable. She paints and they let her decorate the office with her art, which you can buy if you like it. I thought that was really nice. Gave the place a really good small business / family business feel. I really have come to loathe how dentistry got away from that feel over the past few decades, so this place has been really nice for me. It feels good to go there.
