This car service is by far the rudest. The dispatcher is obnoxious like he doesn't care for the business. He quoted me $40. When I arrived at the destination, the driver told me it was $58 ($48 plus $10 for toll). He decided to take the tunnel without my consent and I should pay for it. It did not get me there any faster because there was huge traffic getting to the tunnel due to an accident. I don't appreciate being lied to. At that price, there are a lot more options. Their cars are always dirty and filled with a smoke scent. This is absolutely the last time I will ever take this car service. Today I took a cab from Empire Car Servce, They were rude, and unhelpful. During the ride, the man yelled at me for suggesting a better route because of the snow. After this he proceeded to stop the car and lock the doors and have a screaming match. I tried my best to tell him to calm down and to just drive me where I needed to go. This man who was about 5'6-58 with glasses, salt & pepper hair started spouting hate speech, vulgar language, and had a very unethical point of view. After the incident I tried to get his I.D or any information about the gentleman. He had no I.d Present, he demanded tips out side of the car BEFORE we drove. Most importantly, Afterwards I figure this company would want to know how its employee's treat their customers, I was never so wrong in my life. A skinny Russian man, reacted with no expression or of any concern after I told him the incident. furthermore, He insisted he would not tell me who drove me to the school. Nor would he help me in any other way. So instead of just a bit of understanding, he basically told me off. So, I reported the company to 311, consumer affairs, and nyc.gov. Called a car, was told the driver was 5 minutes away. 30 minutes later when the driver was no show, I called dispatcher who proceeded mocking and cursing at us for being spoiled and not willing to wait. Driver almost ran over children playing in the street (which was closed to through traffic and had a police barricade that driver drove through and bright orange cones driver ran over). When confronted and told that he needed to reset the barricade that he had just driven through and that he should avoid the street in the future because it's closed go through traffic, driver continued to drive forward until he was fewer than six inches away, essentially threatening us with his car. On Wednesday 6/21 we hired them for a 9:30 appointment to drive us from Sheepshead Bay to Laguardia airport. I reserved car on Tuesday before, car was there at exactly 9:30. Igor got out to greet us and load bags in trunk. He got us there without incident and had some small talk. When we arrived at airport he help us remove bags from trunk, and bid us a heartfelt safe trip. Would definitely use this car service next time the need arises. Good job Igor. read more

I use Empire Car Service for at least 3 years almost every day. Under old management and now under new management. I use them to go to my job, to go to an Airport, to run errands. I would say in 98% of cases cars come on time, drivers are polite and helpful, dispatchers are understanding and eager to help and resolve a situation if occurs. And don't forget about prices, which are very reasonable. Nobody is perfect, things happen but they are decent people. Try them on, you will not be sorry! read more

90% of the time when I'm in Brooklyn I'm at my friend's boyfriend's place which is literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from Empire. Being that I don't think anyone actually "enjoys" taking the subway, if there's a group of us, we always use a ride from here. Sometimes there is a language barrier being that our learning of the Russian language has been slow(but steady) but with the few words we all know interchangeably, we get by. They're always fairly priced and the drivers are nice, the one who drove my friends and I to Astoria last weekend was great. Will be continuing to use them! read more

Worse Experience ever , I broke my elbow last month since then I have had several appointments in a week so I needed a car service that takes CC both way Coney Island Hosp' and back that would be in my door step on time its all local trips , from day 2 i get out of work call car service to pick me up at sub station at 8am they said ok NP call back 5min before so i called when was near they informed me they had no car and they don't do pick ups at station here I am at sub no car service takes CC I said when I called to book a car make sure it is here on time u informed NP call back and now u tell me u cant make it to subway so I had walk all the way home just to call them again book one at 8am , after that I said all try them out for a week and see might have just had a bad day , 2nd day I called 15min before reserved a car service at my door step I respect they do not pick up at subway ( god only knows why ) however I reserved it for 7:45 i get out side no car called them up they tell me his 2 blocks down give him 2min all right no big deal right ,5 min passed called again 1 block down give him 2 min again alright cool whatever 7:59 i call again more upset they ask me wait 5 min when riding the car driver informed me he just got the pick info now so they forgot to make my reservation , ok i should have been there at 8am i reserved it in advance in order to have it on my time not there's still since they are the only car service takes CC i dealt with it now since Oct been its 12/02/14 called early again now i work night's in Time SQ so i usually go straight from work and i have broking arm since i can't use one arms , and the other i have the phone and holding stuff i do not have a free hand to provide CC info so been asking that if i can call while in the car since i am in a hurry and i pay for both way's never had issue with that this time i call reserve and i tell them like i tell them everyday all pay in the car when my hands out free the guy says ok , get out 7:45 cars not there i call them they ask for my CC i informed them the car is not here he says sorry no CC no car , i explain tp him what i have been doing every week it was not an issue then also when i called hr ago i explain to who ever received with that all pay in car , they said no and hung up on my face i was pissed called back screaming give me manager now manager tells me same i said sir i have been doing this each week i have broking elbow and other hand am lifting stuff i have no free hands give u CC info i have been calling u back giving to u as soon as i am in the car what's the big deal , he said u have a broking arm not my problem we our not hospital so i said why did u confirm to me hr ago that its ok then why would u make me go through all that if you were in my place would u not get pissed he says don't teach me nothing i am not here to learn just give me CC so i had drop everything in the ground find my keys put everything one by one in aprt. get my CC give it to him since i only again have one hand heatless people they are then after providing them with it his like the go out side now i said i am out side i have been out side since the time i reserved it and already confirmed i am on door way still no one am late all u promises and give me hard time where is my car now , after 5 min it arrives u should be prepared for hell if you take this service all there words out lies with out a heart they provide service by rudeness carelessness , that is not service sir and i was planning using u guys 2 times a week tell jan maybe more u lost a regular and money thy don't even noticed your regular read more
