My therapist not only challenged me, he grew with me and became a better provider to fit my needs. My sole complaint is the billing department. I have placed my billing information on file at least four times for the billing department to autopay whatever is owed for each session to prevent my sessions being cancelled. I was not notified of any issues until a week ago when the billing office told me I had claims unpaid from three years ago (which was false) and that I wouldn't be able to see my therapist until the entire balance was paid off. After confirming with my insurance company that mental health services are waived and that they never received documentation deeming my therapy services medically necessary I relayed this message to Elite DNA's billing department. Their blanket statement was that my bills from three years ago have already been sent to collections and would need to be paid. I want to reiterate my therapist is incredible and if I could afford to pay the fees I shouldn't even owe I would consider it just because of the rapport we have built. My only advice would be to know your benefits and pay attention to your patient portal claims if you wish to proceed with this company. Some of the providers truly are incredible and are not to blame for the error on billing's part.
