Emilia Cremeria though not uniquely Modena but I love their branding. You will find locations and headquarter based in Emilia-Romagna region. The ice cream shop is just super cute like what I expect how a traditional ice cream parlour would look like: a super happy place with all the smiley faces! Their ice cream/gelato is made with free range eggs, organic milk, fresh fruit and cane sugar using slow creaming method. The texture was smooth and creamy! I love how warm chocolate syrup was dripped into the cone from the fountain before they scoop your ice cream. Then finished off with one of the waffle cookies which I used to scooped up the ice cream! I could eat this everyday and so many flavours to choose from! Passing by this location we had to stop in. First off this was the only place open on Sunday on the whole block. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by a wall of unique flavored Gelato and a fridge full of super unique pastries and cakes. It was our understanding that this place had a reputation for quality and attention to detail. It really showed in the gelato we chose. After trying a few different flavors, which I recommend you do. We went with the Pistachio + cannoli combo. It was amazing, we got it in a cup and it included a nice waffle cracker along with it. A must try for anyone in the area!! read more

Really good, must try in Modena. Randomly came across this place after a quick lunch down the street. Ordered a strawberry and specialty amareno and chocolate flavors. Both were amazing and none of the greasy oily after taste which is common for gelato in my opinion. I'm a super picky Asian dessert eater, but I would recommend this to everyone. Enjoy! read more

Wow! What a find! Really all their flavors are great but the best are definitely their specialty flavors. My favorite were the sicilian pisachio and the black cherry. They also had frozen treats in their freezer that looked amazing. Wish we had stopped by on our first day so we could come back over and over before we left. read more
