However I did a little digging myself and found the water was actually coming from my A/C system and pooling in the passenger footwell. It sucks cause my insurance wouldn't cover the damages. But Arthur helped me out with a good price for fixing not only the actually problem being the A/C condenser, he also replaced the messed up carpets and treated for rust and mold. All in all my experience there was great. Wishing it was covered under insurance but just wanted to say thanks to Arthur for the help. definitely will be coming here more for any detailing needs!!

From start to finish- a five star experience!…read more I took my car here for brake rotors/pads all around and a brake flush. Communication beforehand was prompt and thorough. Pricing offered was highly competitive and after seeing other customer's reviews and pictures- it was clear that Otis was a consummate professional. I especially liked seeing that he provided proactive picture/video updates on the work being performed. When I arrived at the shop I met another very friendly customer/friend of Otis. We had a great chat about all things Lexus and admired each other's cars (his car was way nicer to look at!) This is the experience you want at a shop - a great sense of community and opportunity to network. The customer's son arrived shortly after and the convos continued. Otis did a preliminary quick inspection and began the work while I strolled off to get a bite to eat. He kept me posted and noted one anomaly (out of anyone's control-it is a 20 yr old car that I bought last year- who knows what it has seen!) Still, he went out of his way to offer solutions and help get me squared away. The work was meticulously completed really quickly and he was extra patient to walk through things and answer all my questions about future work/maintenance. It is easy to tell he made a business out of a passion and holds himself to high standards with his work and customer service. Will definitely be back!

My mechanic who is a family friend told me that my car's engine and transmission had been leaking…read moreoil and it was a matter of time before it was going to fail on me. It was due to old age (239000 miles). Too bad he doesnt do engine swaps. Fortunately, I have a coworker who has a husband that owns a shop and was told that he just recently swap a engine with a low mileage jdm motor. Chris called me that same night and we went over the details on the work that needed to be done on the car. He was very informative and he went step by step with me about the engine swapping process. He even told me that he would pick up the engine and transmission in NJ for a cheap fee. I decided that Chris was the right guy for the job and told him that I would give him the car in three weeks to work on. When I arrived at the shop, I told Chris that I had other issues with the car. He told me that he will look into it but his main focus was to replace the motor and transmission first. During the time he was working on my car, he kept in constant contact with me. He would let me know what he was doing and if there was something that needed to be replaced, he would call me first for permission before buying the replacement part. Chris also sent me picture and videos while my car was being worked on. One of other issues that I had address to Chris was that my heater was only give me luke warm air at best. I had thought that my heater core was clogged and that it needed to be replaced. Turns out, Chris found that it was just my heater control valve that was broken and prevented the coolant to go into my heater core. For people that dont know about heater cores, it would cost 800 to 1500 dollars for the heater core to be replaced. By finding out that it was just the heater control valve, Chris saved me a boat load of money. About a week and half later, Chris finally finished the job and he delivered my car in front of the house. He even gave my car a wash and even detailed my car. I test drove the car with Chris sitting on the passenger side and was surprised how much power I had on the new engine. Transmssion was shifting flawlessly. Chris also installed a dedicated transmission oil cooler and filter to prolong the life of the transmission. I had told Chris that day he delivered my car that I was going on a trip to upstate for the memorial day weekend. He told me that if I have any issues to call him immediately. I didn't have to call him because my car worked perfectly. In fact, Chris texted me asking how my car was doing and I forgot to text him back. (Sorry Chris). I highly recommend Chris to anyone. Not only that he does excellent work, he genuinely cares about his customers. Other than my family friend, Chris would be the only one I would trust my car with. Thank you Chris!!!

I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars for G&B Auto Body because of a poor paint job that had to be re-done…read moreand unprofessional behavior toward the customer. Terry quoted me $714.73 to paint the hood of my car but said he would do it for $650 cash. WARNING !! Terry DOES NOT GIVE RECEIPTS for cash. They weren't the cheapest, F-Z Perfection in Congers would've done it for $500 but G&B does the body work for Schultz Ford so I figured they must be worth it. The job was done in 3 days and the car looked fine from a distance. Upon closer examination I noticed bumps in 4 different places, several deep scratches in the clear coat and many imperfections that can be described as "pimples" and "warts". There was even an area that I thought was a ring of clear coat with a depression in the middle - it turned out that they dinged my hood !! Terry said he would see if he could sand out the problem areas but mentioned that I'm "expecting perfection". I told him that the job they did was FAR from perfect and I shouldn't have to accept the hood the way it was. They had to repaint the hood - it came out much better the second time around, and they took care of that ding. I did notice a slight indentation in the paint and asked Terry if there was something he could do about it. Terry raised his voice and said, "OH NO, that's as far as we go, I've already spent more time on this car than it's worth so THAT'S IT !! Hey, it's not MY fault that they spent more time on the hood than they wanted to - It's THEIR FAULT they didn't do the job right in the first place !! All I asked was if there was something they could do about the indentation !! I was surprised by Terry's unprofessional attitude and his decision to put his profit above his customers needs. Then he just walked back into the store and left me standing there !! Since I already paid cash there was nothing I could do. I should've paid with my credit card so I could've had the power to deny payment. G&B's website states that customer satisfaction is most the important thing and that they strive to "meet or excel" the customers expectations - they obviously DON'T. If you don't care too much about your car and just want an O.K. paint job at a higher price then go to G&B. If you TAKE PRIDE in your vehicle and want the job done right I would strongly recommend going to another place...unless you don't mind paying more than you have to while having to make several trips bringing your car back and forth because the job wasn't done right while Terry makes you feel like you're being unreasonable !! Just unbelievable.

Not just the work didn't look right but my whole car was scratched a car that was out of the dealer brand new 2022 no scratches nothing on it just a bumper defect because someone that knows this people hit my car, I fell for their "good review" and decided to give them a shoot. I picked up my car and the paint looked terrible the whole car had scratches mind you that I always washed my car by hand and never washed my car in the machines. Kyle admitted saying that every car that comes out from his shop is washed. My car did not look washed it had dirty and a lot of remaining dust from the paint job they did. They passed a rag and didn't every washed my car that created so many marks all over it. I spoke with this people and they didn't want to face their mistakes and their unprofessional work. They laughed at me and took everything like a joke when I was so disappointed about their work and wanted a solution, they end up kicking me out of the shop, treating me less like a shit. A white costumer came and they even came outside to say hi and shake hands, when I came to pick up my car no body came out not even to show me the work they did or say hi. This to me is discrimination, he said the job he did was pretty damn good and that a new car out of the box comes with defects and scratches. If I that bought it would've seen such a thing i wouldn't have payed so much for a brand new car with "defects" Avoid coming here to leave you car they do NOT know how to was or how to treat a customer.
