However, when it comes to Mark Brady, I cannot recommend anyone else with higher regard. Mark is a true carpenter and has done a variety of work around my house: ripped out old carpet, installed premium grade tiles, installed a beat board for my kitchen bar, and painted various areas throughout the house. We went with Mark based on the previous yelp reviews. He took the extra time to do the job right. Mark takes the time to finish the details. Not mention that he is reasonably priced! We received two appt confirmation emails from them and on the morning of the appt, Jenn texted me with an update that James her husband/Handyman was running late as the earlier appt ran long. James arrived about 15 min past the estimated time of arrival. James finished within the expected time. He was pleasant, efficient and completed the job which had been abandoned by the previous handyman. J&J was responsive and just simply a pleasure to deal with. For the record before this incident I praised and loved working with Jenn and James as they were easy to work with and the prices were fair and they were nice to talk with I had used them for multiple jobs including a step railing repair/a garage storage rack repair that another company SRO2 installed totally wrong/We had them come and install exhaust vent covers to keep birds out/We had them fix some trim molding in our master bedroom so you can see we used them more than once as a repeat loyal customer I was. My mother in law decided she wanted to sell her home and some work needed to be done to the back deck who else would I call besides J&J Handyman and Services, I spoke with Jenn over multiple text which I will upload and I asked for James to come out to give me a quote they decided pictures would be ok so I sent pictures and videos and texted the work that was needed and we confirmed a price of $475.00 plus I pay for materials. Well the day of work comes and James comes out and tells me basically the price I was given by his wife and co owner Jenn was wrong!!! and that he could save us money by doing a better repair of the deck I agreed and he went to lowes and I paid for the materials over the phone, James returned to start the work and I left him be and I went back to work. Well I had not heard anything from James or gotten any photos stating he was done with the job, upon arrival back at the home I saw a little pile of trash and rotted wood that James had left and then found out that they charged my mother in law $414.00 for way less work!!! how is this a savings I texted James about my disastifaction with this job and the price and asked could either him or Jenn give me a call? NOPE!!! his response was his reasoning for the job he did and the cost it would have took to do it the way I thought we had agreed on, I replied with along message to James stating basically that we had a deal and as a repeat customer I deserved better and for the fact that I was trying to give them family referrals, well that was the last that I heard from Jenn and James about the situation, I am disapointed that I lost a good Contractor due to this incident as I have a ton of upgrades planned for our home and my mother in law always has a list of work that needs to be done. I have uploaded the photos of the conversations and the before and after photos now show me 414.00 worth of labor when I was a repeat customer plus I paid for the material the worst part like I have mentioned is they ain't reach out to me to try and make it right and now I have lost an amazing contractor!!!

I've never written a review before but I had to with the customer service I received from Bob…read more Quick summary, I had friends staying at our place in Ocean City, MD for the week. During the midweek of their stay, the pipe underneath the kitchen sink separated between the drain and the trap. With me being at work and 2.5 hours away, I couldn't fix it. I went online and saw Bob's service on Yelp. He was the first number I called. When I spoke with him, he was on the road, literally 2 blocks away and took my service call right at that time. With me not being there, I was unaware of how serious the repair was going to be. He stated, he would give me a free estimate prior to any work that needed to be done. Ten minutes later, Bob called me and informed me it was fixed. The adjoining pipe had slipped down, causing the trap to separate from the drain pipe. He reattached all of the pipes and reinforced it to prevent them from slipping again. He not only fixed the leak and saved me a small road trip, he told me there was no charge!! He provided a service with no cost! Just to note, I'm not writing this review because he didn't charge me. It's because there are people out there that take advantage of people and situations during a time of need. He portrayed the complete opposite. I couldn't accept him not charging me so, I had to ask for his address to extend my thanks and payment for his help. Whether it was a small or large repair, Bob was honest and prompt to help. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to others.

I had called a handy man in DE only to inform me that he would have to charge me a three hour minimum for a 30 minute project. I called Bob Jobs Maintenance this morning, not expecting he could or would do it today. He showed up in 15 minutes and installed the tv in 20-25minutes. The only reason it took longer was he had to get metric screws. So from the time I called him until the tv was installed and working, an hour tops. I have never had such efficient - timely service in OC - in the summer - ever! Additionally his price was way less than I expected to pay which is also very unusual in these parts during this time of the year! To say I am pleased with Bob Jobs Maintenance is an understatement - I am ecstatic! Call this guy first! I know if I need service in the future, this is the ONLY person I will call. The trim and door surfaces are rough and textured like a bumpy orange peel skin. They also just painted over the dust in many areas. It is heartbreaking. They had no idea how to fix it, and after coming back two times and no-showing a third - I'm settling on just a bad review and paying someone else with proper skills.
