Future MIL wanted to get family photos, and we got SO. MUCH. MORE!!!! We started before sunset, which was gorgeous and Jan knew all the best angles and how to catch the best light. Every side is your good side when Jan's behind the camera. She took photos of the entire fam and individual couples (future MIL and FIL, fiancé and I, fiancé's sister and her husband). It was family photos, maternity photos (fiancé's sister is expecting), AND.....SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS!!! My fiancé proposed during the sunset photo session, and I was so surprised and just a crying hot mess. Jan captured all of it, and made my ugly crying look beautiful! Our little one can be difficult to get to smile for photos and he was able to capture some really pretty photos of her playing in the sand/water with a big grin on her face, that we will treasure. The next day he texted us a preview collage and then emailed a link to our online gallery a little over a week later. Our total cost was around $275, a reduced military rate I believe (with 25% down to get on his schedule). Personal Touch Photography was much more affordable than other photographer's rates I compared in the area for similar services.
