This is your typical bait-n-switch 'shadow'…read morecompany that phishes for resumes (known as resume harvesting), though they have NO TRUE OPPORTUNITY to offer. I base this on my research of this tactic with the FL Department of Economic Opportunity and their list of warning signs that I personally experienced recently by a Talent Acquisition' Team Member named Sterling Moskal (sterling.moskal@soltech.net). Moskal approached me via email and made one obvious outrageous statement, " I believe that you have worked with SOLTECH a little in the past," which is total B.S. and one of the warning signs given by the FL DEOC to watch out for. Playing into his game, I asked for a detailed job description, since he was snooping for my resume and personal information. Moskal made up a job description (or rather copied one from another agency) and quoted a salary range that capped at $120K annually. Once I submitted my resume, he immediately fired back and I quote, "Thanks for getting back to me. I sent the incorrect template. This is for an internal role. Are you free at all for a call later this week?" BLATANT RESUME HARVESTING - another warning tip of a fraudulent 'recruiter' by the FL DEOC. Finally, the offender not once included a Federally required "Opt-Out" or "unsubscribe" as MANDATED by the FCC'S CAM-SPAM Act of 2003. Both the FL Dept of Internet Crime and the FTC will be notified, along with the Better Business Bureau. If these creeps coming slithering to your Inbox, grab a boot and squish their heads.
