Pulling into the congested small parking lot the car in front of me took the front parking space and I found one by the dump trucks. Once inside and checked in I watched the lady come out of her car and walk in, I noticed she was an EMPLOYEE. I turned to the receptionist and asked " you allow your employees to park in front and don't leave those spots for your customers?" The receptionist looked at the car then back at me and said "yep." I'm done.

We voiced our concerns and needs and were given a solid quote, nothing much additional was done, yet we ended up paying quite a bit more and I'm still not sure why. We were told by the tech we would receive a flea and tick sample as part of our service and did not. The Vet was very kind to us and our puppy, I appreciate that. However, upon checking out we were told we would have to come back in three weeks and every month after basically and I'm assuming we will be paying around the same amount each time. This sounds a LOT unnecessary to me. Has me questioning the motives here. Are we here to help my puppy or here to make a lot of money off of me? I've never had a veterinary experience that required so many visits for routine care at such prices. Now I'm wondering if we should switch to a different animal hospital??? On top of all of this, I received a call a couple of days after our visit and was told that our following visit would be moved to another location?? Across town..? When we chose this clinic based on the location itself and the fact that it is so close to our home. Also, we had to administer the wormer to our puppy ourselves. A simple process, but why couldn't they do it themselves? It's not like I didn't pay for their services? Is this routine? Ok, fine. Doesn't seem professional to me.. Now I'm questioning everything here based off these other reviews I've read today. My goal is to get the VERY BEST CARE for our puppy. Cost is not the issue. But draining my account is not exactly what I had in mind. When I talk to my friends and hear what they are paying elsewhere for better services, I'm feeling a little used... I'm not convinced we will stay yet. If we do it will be solely for the Veterinarian and her professional care and kindness. Thanks Dr.Hooper. Other staff members were not as kind. Unfortunately-

There has been no mention of treating our dog for tick, fleas, or otherwise the whole time we have been going to Osage. For the last 10 months my husky has been itching like crazy and we have taken her to Osage many times. Every time we are told that she has allergies and we have gone forward with treating that. The itching hasn't improved and she has developed skin infections over the past two-ish months (which was treated). The last time we visited they have stood by that she has a skin yeast infection and they gave her more antifungal pills. Well, she's been getting steadily worse. About a week and a half ago she started having labored breathing and shaking while she was laying down. We immediately took her to the animal hospital (this occurred late on a Saturday). After running blood tests and checking her out, she was immediately diagnosed with heart worms and erlichia (a potentially life-threatening tick-bourne disease). The emergency vet also preformed a skin scrape on her and diagnosed her with having severe sarcoptic mange (scabies in humans). The emergency vet said that she probably has had all of these issues since she came from the shelter. Also, my husband, daughter, and I have caught the scabies and have been itching for weeks. So, beyond frustrated! We got the quickest vet appointment at a highly recommended vet clinic. They recommend a one-tine flea and tick treatment (anti-parasidic) that will also treat the mange mites. In other words, if Osage had recommended a one time flea and tick treatment when we first saw them, we would have saved over $1000 in vet bills and treatments, the suffering of our dog for 10 months, saving us from getting scabies. DO NO GO TO THIS CLINIC!!!!

The surgery tech or a Dr never looked in his mouth with me at drop-off, just made a comment about possibly having to pull a few teeth. Sign here! I get that somewhat, but seriously, if its that bad, call after you do the xrays. THEY PULLED 12 and didn't even have the courtesy to call and discuss the problem he was having or could have before they proceeded with the cleaning BTW, it was some bone loss. Tech said it was preventative extractions so he doesnt have problems down the road. Who in the world can determine thats going to even happen? Really. He had no symptoms of an abcess or problems of any kind to my knowledge when i dropped him off. At pick up she mentioned only one thing that had to be cleaned up in his mouth. Sorry, can't recall, I was already seething and devastated. I am so livid about the lack of conversation and not given the courtesy to make my decision based on a discussion with the Dr. I should have the respect and opportunity to be part of this decision, It is MY dog!!!! When I picked him up, pay first, then we will give you your dog. I go into the exam room for the results, no doctor, just the surgery tech telling me what THEY DECIDED TO DO, gave me the meds and an xray paper copy, and bye bye. This service was the most discusting display of vet care I've ever ever experienced. The next morning I got a TEXT to see how he was. I didnt even get the courtesy of a voice. The surgery tech knew how upset i was when I picked him up, and still no call. THIS practice has become ordinary, nothing special. FAITHFUl FRIENDS used to be one of the best in town. Guess our fur babies are getting the same kind of health care most of us humans are getting these days. How did this experience make me fee? It feels like nothing more then a money grab. How sad it that? Cost, 1000.00 dollars.
