As a college student, I'm on a tight budget and Gulley Park Pets Clinic never hits me with unreasonable prices. They seem to always be upfront with expectations, costs, and care. On a personal note I have severe anxiety and struggle to make phone calls if I feel I may be bothering someone. Gully Pet Clinic has never made me feel that way. An employee named Ezzy handled my call with kindness, compassion, and ease. She really went above and beyond, despite the fact that I called at the crack of dawn! That says a lot considering I asked about 10 questions. I also needed records of vaccinations today, and she sent them via email so I didn't have to make the trip up there. My dog always leaves Gully Pet Clinic happy and I cannot say the same for my pup and I's experiences in Little Rock. And was given some meds to give her twice a day and see how she performs. Well over all this time she only had a few break through that only lasted a few min and she would recover we dont miss medication just break through ones I understand well today i came home found her in deep thrall of full grand mall that lasted 30 full min while i called ur clinic i told receptionist that i need to bring her in and get emergency meds to get her calm an get her temp down before she dies i was told they could not take her because they wete full of appointments i explained she is in 35 min siecer with high hart and temp and i am in hickory creek. Tbey said bring her to emergency i explained i have to get her temp down asap and your location is 28 min from my house the emergency is 40 . So I will need to bring her in. I told them she was on verge of death by time i get there full hour continius seizer i was first told her temp was 108 and they got her seizers to stop and temp down to 105. They gave me sum new meds recommended i bring her to emergency so they can watch her over night. So i said okay . I was presented my bill and paid. Not being shown what all the charges were until after i paid. So i asked there is a chage for after hours emergency i asked what it was for and stated i am here during hours and was told oh thats just what it says i then repeated all nicley that words mean things and is there a during hours emergency line that could be applied instead. Receptionist did not like this and stated i should have taken her to emergency like they suvgested i then told her that if i would have done that her organs would have all began to fail since her temp wad 108 just getting there another 20 min would have meant life or death she got snarky and statef u should be thankful that we saved ur dog i then began to get upset if i would have listened to them and not arrived there to get her temp down she eould jave been dead. . And thst me bringing here to ur location due to length of seizer body temp ect is what ssved her. And i also at that time now being annoyed did say i did just pay you as well to give her care and said the f word. . I shouldnt have ur vet then came out said same thing and said she didnt like my tone and that your place was full and they stopped everything to help her even that one customer had anxiety attack because the doctor was working on bailey and not her dog. I sure would have thought a dog in distress more important than lady with anxiety. Then she demanded I leave and not return. Worst experience in my life to be treated this wsy just trying to save my dog Also charged for certain amount of medication see photos and received way short dosage and total number. She never laid a hand on him to touch his body to feel him out to look his nose, or look at his ears, or look at his eyes and his throat and his teeth, she did nothing, she pronounced he had intentional tremors, which I've since found out from the new vet. I went to today that that is not the case when Iask the vet why she was not going to examine him, but was pronouncing intentional tremors as the cause she seemed perturbed and said I can send you to a neurologist if you want me to other than that that's what I'm telling you it is. This woman did absolutely nothing, they charged me $60 per dog. They charge $42 for ear test on one of my dogs and they charged me for nails and anal glands which I'm not disputing but when I went in thereand I ended up paying a lot of money to this person and she did absolutely nothing. I don't think I should be paying them this amount and I think they're the worst vet I've ever been to in my entire life. I want $200 of my money back and I'm not going settle for anything else. This veterinary did absolutely nothing and she only was in the office with my dogs for about four minutes she should not be practicing veterinary medicineas far as I'm concerned. I just spent $600 at a different vet today on my credit card and she has found the issue because she didultrasound and blood test, etc. which the veterinarian at country view, never even offered never even talked about all it was was a giant rip off. We thought she may have had parvo, so Darcy came out to the car for a preliminary examination. After a few minutes with Darcy, we realized she was a person who was doing what she was perfect at - working with animals. Our little Jenny was at ease, wagging her tail, and pretty happy. Once (thank heavens) the test came back as negative for parvo, we were brought inside and taken to an examination room. What got my attention immediately was how clean it smelled in the place......most vets offices do not smell this clean, so that was a great start. The examination room we were taken to had a retractable exam table, so our fur baby was able to run around unobstructed. There was a TV in the room, and it also was playing calming music. Dr. Lang came in after a couple of minutes, and rather than bringing Jenny up to an exam table, sat down on the ground and examined her. Dr. Lang explained what the course of treatment would be, told us she would give us the cost estimate in advance, and then asked if we had any questions. We felt that she genuinely cared about both us and our fur baby. Darcy came back in, and took our doggie off for a shot. When she came back with other medicine, our fur baby started getting excited to see Darcy again (considering she had just given her a shot, this was amazing). We have definitely found our vet, and I encourage everyone to give the Animal Hospital of Bentonville a chance for your fur babies.
