As a leasing agent myself, I could tell from the beginning Terry didn't know what she was doing. She didn't know what she had available or when a move in could happen. When we signed the lease, we didn't get a copy and when I later asked for one, she threw a fit. Life threw changes our way a few months after moving in and money was tight. We called the office and spoke with Terry about paying our rent over a few payments and she told us to come in and sign a promise to pay, so we did. After several harrassing missed calls from her during the work day a few days later, I returned her call and she wanted the full amount owed. She had misplaced our promise to pay and then informed us that the pay agreement had to be approved by their attorney, or it wasn't any good anyway and all rent is due by the 15th or it's an extra $200, rather approved or not. None of this was memtioned before. In the meantime of trying to figure our rent out, Terry proceeded to hold a package we had received in the office for over a week, refusing to hand it over until I went into the office and saw it sitting by her desk. I had to inform her that tampering with mail is a federal crime and I would report her if I needed to. Terry will not hesitate to tell your business to other residents and anyone else who walks into the office. She is quit the gossiper. My mom's friend (not a resident at the apartment) knew before my mom did that we were moving out because she happened to have to go in the office for a business affair and Terry spilled the beans to her about everything she knew was going on in the complex, including evictions, affairs, fights and move ins and outs. Needless to say, if you're looking at Embassy Apartments for your next home, be prepared for chaos, lost paperwork, only half the story and a lot of gossip. Best of luck to you. read more

I've lived in the Kings Apartments (specific Embassy Apartment) for two years and signed up for my third year. If you are a college kid, these apartments are great. They are a located right next to Missouri State University and downtown Springfield. I work downtown and it is a ten minute walk to get there and 10 minutes to get to campus. Also since there are so many Greek houses on this same street, University police and regular police patrol a lot which adds an extra security measure. The size of the apartment is probably the best feature. Huge living room and bedroom. Multiple closets (one even big enough to store a bike). These apartments are truly built for college kids. The price of living is reasonable considering all amenities are included except electric (averages to $35 a month). read more

I have lived at the Embassy (Ozark location) for just over a year now, and I very much indeed like it. I live in one of the older complexes roughly built around 10 years ago (there's 3 brand new complexes at this location now as of summer 2017). I feel really safe living here as the complex that I live in requires a code to get in the building--so not just anyone can get in. My neighbors are pretty nice, and because of that I feel like I'm in good company. I should also say that the property is well maintained. The carpet in the halls of my building regularly get cleaned, and the walls are touched up every month or so with the wear-and-tear of occupants moving. I love that my complex is taken care of. It's part of what makes living here so nice. read more

I've been living here for a couple years and have seen the improvements really make this a nice place to live. The buildings are quiet so you should rarely hear your neighbors, parking has recently expanded, it's close to Price Cutter and a few restaurants and really not too far south of Springfield off 65. They're expanding so there is some new construction that should be done by summer 2017. Otherwise a plain old apartment with the usual floor plan, simple appliances and hookups for washer/dryer in our 3 bedroom unit, pool with a grill, maintenance that has gotten a lot accomplished in the last few months, and management that is easy to get in contact with if I need it at Wooten. read more

I've lived here for several years and just renewed my lease for another year because this place is great! Not only is the rent at a decent price, the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Its a great place for families or single people because it has it all here, from the play area for little kids to a beautiful pool area with a kiddy pool next to it, to a fitness room for those who like to workout! Management is also very friendly and welcoming as well! And the last selling point would be the maintenance, they are very fast in responding to any problems tenants might have! So if you are looking for a great place to rent that isn't super expensive then this is the place for you! read more

We absolutely love these apartments and are excited about renewing our lease with them. The Wooten Company is wonderful and they take great care of the grounds, pool, and the buildings. They are very affordable apartments with the water and sewer included in the rent. We only pay for our internet and electricity which does not run very high.They are pet friendly which was a must for us. Our daughters love spending the summer learning to swim in the adult pool and relaxing in the kiddy pool. We love that there are restrooms right next to the pool so that we don't have to run back to the apartment. We also enjoy the picnic and grill area located conveniently next to the pools. read more

I've lived in Embassy for going on just a year now. I have enjoyed my stay here and the units are nice and roomy. The demand is high to get in this complex but it is worth it to live in a nice place. The on-site property manager and team are all super friendly and helpful. They have a fun pool and playground area for the kids and it makes summertime a great place to be. The only negative that I have found is that it seems during some times during the year there are not enough parking spaces for everyone and speed limits are not enforced on the property and several people speed through the complex. The community is quiet and friendly and the management is helpful and quick about responding to any questions/maintenance issues.The location is ideal because of its closeness to the highway, making it easy to get where ever you need to go. We have lived for over a year and have been very pleased. Having lived in apartments before I was prepared for a noisy environment but that has not been the case at all. It is very quiet. The new management has been helpful and respectful. We have a small dog and my only complaint is that other tenets don't always pick up after their dogs. Other then that, all is good. The apartment is clean and maintenance is very fast to fix things when needed. I would recommend Embassy apartments to anyone who is ready for apartment living. read more

Between the open floor plans and the quiet atmosphere I couldn't ask for a better place to live. We chose this apartment complex in part to the wonderful Ozark community. There are dozens of restaurants close by. There is a Price Cutter and a Dollar General close to the complex and a couple of gas stations. There is also a Simmons Bank, Guaranty Bank, and an Ozark Bank all on the same street which is convenient. The Finley River Park and the Library are just 10 minutes way. The people in this area are terrific and we love the small town feel. read more

We LOVE it here! Embassy Apartments are probably the nicest apartments in Ozark. They are right by Lambert's so maybe 10 minutes outside of Springfield but far enough away that we get the feel of a smaller town. The coffee shops and antique shops rock. My husband and I have rented here for two years now and are going to be releasing next month. It is very quite here and the staff is awesome. My husband and I are over the road truck drivers do we aren't home much but we know when we come home our place is just as it was, don't have to worry about our stuff.
