Across all the stylists I've had, Michelle has been the most consistent and efficient at this, with special attention to my annoying cowlicks, but I haven't gotten a *bad* cut from anybody. He tends to pick very flattering, naturalish looks (vs. some other places I've been that are more trend-oriented), but at this point as a natural dark brunette, I've come out with a variety of different brown balayage options, a pretty reddish brown, and an almost black color, and all have looked very healthy and pretty. I like that he's able to give me some variety without damaging it and without suggesting anything that would look bad on me. I have a little gray spot and he does a great job blending it with the highlights so that I don't have to do permanent color. Vibe is very casual and the prices are inexpensive for the area. He is a very honest businessman and will tell you up front if he doesn't think a look is going to be feasible. One time I wanted to go lighter and he lifted the color for a bit, tested it and showed me, went a little longer with no change and let me know that was my limit so that I wouldn't get breakage. He's very professional in conversation topics, keeping it friendly but without anything stressful. I feel safe and comfortable coming here. Overall, I definitely recommend this place and Ryan in particular.

I clearly asked for a low taper fade and even showed a TikTok example photo to make sure we were on the same page. Unfortunately, that's not what we got at all. Instead of a low taper, my son ended up with a very high fade taken all the way down to the skin. There was no smooth transition or blending -- it doesn't fade into anything. It looks harsh and uneven, nothing like the example we provided. What was even more disappointing was the lack of accountability. It clearly did not resemble the photo we showed, yet there was no apology or acknowledgment from Jestina. No effort to make it right. That was honestly the worst part -- the customer service. To make matters worse, my son has been bullied all week at school because of this haircut. He's been called names and has said he doesn't even want to go to school. After growing his hair out for months and being excited about this cut, his confidence has completely taken a hit. As a parent, that's heartbreaking. Even the receptionist in the front apologized and acknowledged that it was a bad haircut from Jestina he gave me 50% off and gave me his recommendation of Luis the barber at Floyd's to fix it for free.
