Worst dental experience of my life. Went there for an emergency extraction the day before Christmas…read moreEve and landed me in the worst pain I've ever been in in my life for two straight weeks only after seeing two other dentist (one on an emergency basis for the pain while I was down in Virginia visiting my daughter)did I finally find an oral surgeon to help me and I am finally feeling better. This doctor left me with dry socket and when I called on the phone and then went in a couple of days later he dismissed me and made me feel like I was being a baby from the pain from the extraction. It has now cost me over $600 to fix this problem and get out of this pain and begin to heal. The office is chaos and multiple personnel were coming in and out of the room asking him questions about scheduling while he was ripping out my tooth. I was also given a bone graft which from what I'm told is not even there. Paid this dentist $1200 to be in the worst pain of my life. And yes I followed all of the post extraction instructions. Also I have both called and messaged this office in the aftermath of all of this and nobody has gotten back to me. Just awful.

Since I couldn't fly back to Cancun to address just this yet..I went to GLENWOOD DENTAL ARTS in MIDDLETOWN NJ and all this 'used car salesman" wanted to do was take EIGHT X-rays to build his 'maintenance program ' for me! He then says he's not going to touch the temp in fear he can't put new one on!!!! Huh??!!! What?!!! Are you not a dental expert of 30 years ( he was proudly boasting to patients??). Back to that review another day. So this scam dentist at Pinehurst IN MIDDLETOWN NJ sheepishly walks out of room after he realizes temp is screwed in ( mind you I told them this all week). He has front desk woman strut in and ask for my Care Credit card saying it will be now $500 to replace!!!! I have the new prostheistic I got from Cancun so it was a procedure 1/2 the time and labor of a simple tooth extraction!!! ( they cost roughly $180-200). And speaking of extractions it would have been LESS painful today than this unprofessional digging into my fresh stitches to remove them and trying to unscrew 3 simple screws all while the old cracked temp is digging into my bleeding gums! I then ask for a antiseptic rinse to be applied before putting new apparatus in.., NOPE! Just bc he and assistant were now annoyed apparently for me moving their hand away from digging into my new implants!!..People, the only way these out of control dental studio s are gonna learn to take instructions and be humbled when they are told something by the PAYING PATIENT is by these reviews, submitting cost charges ( over the top ones) AND by going overseas to get your work done at 1/4 of the AND BETTER 'bedside services " The ONLY ones telling you of bad experiences are by the fearful dentists here afraid they will be called out by their $4200 a tooth implants or people who went to some hole in the ground in Tijuana 10 years ago and got bad treatment. I was told by Dr. Jay that I have multiple infections in my mouth and almost complete bone loss that other dentists could not verify? He and his staff were all very nice and office is top notch with 15 exam rooms but each time I was there they only had maybe 1-2 patients? They were very anxious to get me to sign for the big project -- so much so that they were willing to come down $23K on their original costs to match what another dentist had quoted. His staff mirrors his attitude toward his patients; courteous and caring. Besides our twice annual checkup and cleaning; I've also had a number of procedures done by Dr. A, root canal, crowns, and other minor work. His reassuring demeanor brings comfort and confidence that our teeth are being cared for. Dr. A's staff tries to work around our schedule and strives to accommodate late changes. Dr. Aldredge was fine with the x-rays I already had and said we'd get a new set within the year.
