The appeal of small town cemeteries is that most people who are laid to rest in them are likely related to each other. Oftentimes, ancestors are buried in various locations, so families don't usually get to pay their respects to multiple generations at a time. That's not the case here, however. It's charming and I'd be curious to know how many generations are represented.
The iron gate at the entrance says "Elmo Cemetery" and is probably the same sign that's been there for decades, just adding to the charm. There are a few mature trees and some well maintained grass that make this a nice place to visit your loved ones. read more
